Matchprint Inkjet proofing software editions and features

Edition licenses provide implementation-specific features and feature options in Kodak Proofing Software for Matchprint Inkjet proofers.

Note that:

Installing a software upgrade automatically licenses the previously licensed edition.
All upgrades from licenses that predate the introduction of editions (version 4.0 or earlier) are automatically upgraded to the Packaging edition.
Edition upgrades are not available for the KPS on Evo (Matchprint Inkjet) license.
License edition types are not available with Kodak Proofing Software for Approval proofers.

Edition types

Commercial edition

This edition is suitable for commercial, publication, and newspaper implementations. This edition supports two active Matchprint Inkjet proofers, and can optionally support up to four proofers. It includes these features:

Direct connectivity between Kodak Proofing Software and Prinergy workflow software
Precision color calibration
High-resolution preview
Job history reports
Event e-mail notifications
Calibration reports
Supports two active Matchprint Inkjet proofers
Can optionally support up to four proofers
The Certified Process for Color Confirmation

Packaging edition

This edition Includes the same features as the Commercial edition, with additional features for the production of proofs for flexographic printing, such as halftone emulation.
