KPS 10.0 is a free upgrade for KPS 8.x contract customers. Note: Customer will need to call their local Kodak support to release the KPS 10 license before the license can be retrieved.


Note: KPS 10.x will support Virtual Environment options – HyperV and VMWare. For more info please see Supported servers and workstations.

Change in KPS 10.x 

To change the controller Software Version in KPS 10.x, you will need to do the following:

  1. Launch the Kodak Proofer Administrator
  2. In the Controller > Software Tab > Click on Change.... > Select the KPS version you want to switch to > Click Reactivate. 
  3. Follow the instructions in the dialogue:
    1. Shutdown the client.
    2. As an administrator, run the script "active.cmd" in the folder of the KPS version you are switching to. For example: C:\Kodak\Proofer Server 10.0.0.x.
    3. Reboot the server
