Note: AppleTalk is not supported by Microsoft Windows Server 2008. It may still be installed using a third-party AppleTalk protocol software, and used for font downloading, AFP sharing, and setting up virtual printers.
You can only modify the attached process template settings via the Configure menu Process Templates option. See Editing process templates.
Important: If you are going to print from a Windows-based computer via the Prinergy Evo virtual printer, this name must be in ASCII characters (for example, western language characters) and contain no spaces. If you create the name using UNICODE characters (for example, Chinese characters) and print from a Windows-based computer to Prinergy Evo software, the file will not print. This is a limitation in the Windows operating system.
The folder location becomes the default folder location in the selected process template Processed File Preferences section, if you select the Send Processed Files to Default Location option.
If you select Send Processed Files To: check box in the process template, Processed File Preferences section, this location overrides any locations you selected in the New Virtual Printer dialog box.
Important: The Prinergy Evo server computer must have read, write, and modify privileges on the folder from which you submit input files to, and save output files from Prinergy Evo software. Kodak recommends that your input files are located in the shared JobData folder on the Prinergy Evo server computer and you mount them from your Prinergy Evo client computer.
Prinergy Evo software creates the AppleTalk virtual printer.
