The system supports both Western and Asian fonts, also known as CJK (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) fonts.
How to install asian fonts properly
Font files must be arranged correctly in order to be installed properly on the Prinergy Evo server computer.
Fonts are supplied in one of two file types:

• PostScript font files: Refined in Prinergy Evo (The location of the PostScript fonts is specified in the file itself.)
• Data font files: Set in a predefined location (no refine is necessary)

For proper installation of the font, create a font folder that contains the font file and arrange the font file following these guidelines:

• Depending on the font vendor, a font may include one or more files and folders.

When installing CID fonts using data files a folder named Resource is used to include other appropriate folders (such as CMap) that include the data files.

• We recommend that file and folder names be set in Latin characters.

Note: We highly recommend using PostScript files rather than data files since the setup is easier and faster and there is less room for error.

• If you are installing PostScript fonts or using the AppleTalk Font Downloader, copy the fonts to a shared folder on the Prinergy Evo server computer-for example, JobData\Fonts - so that you can install the fonts from the Prinergy Evo client computer.
