The Web Growth feature lets Prinergy Evo software digitally compensate for press distortion.

On a web press, the main direction of growth is across the web. On a sheet-fed or flexographic press, you may find more significant growth in the direction of paper travel. The web growth compensation mechanism in Prinergy Evo software can simultaneously compensate for growth both across and along the web or sheet.

Before applying a Web Growth Profile, ensure you have calculated web growth and created a web growth profile.

1. In the Process Template Editor, open an output process template.
2. In the Layout section, under Scaling, select the Use Web Growth Profile, if Available check box. 
3. In the Profile box, click Browse to locate a web growth profile.
   When you submit the input file to the process template submission channel, the system uses the web growth profile with each signature and a tower-color file. If you haven't registered a web growth profile with a process template, the system cannot use one.

Note: You cannot apply both Web Growth and Flat Rotation to an imposition. Selecting the Use Web Growth Profile, if Available check box disables the Flat Rotation options and sets the Flat Rotation gradient value to 0.0.
