In the Pandora 4.0 and later software, double-sided layouts are available. See Creating a two-sided layout for more details.
In the Pandora 3.2 or earlier software, you mirrored dies to create a double-sided layout. This involved saving a copy of the job with a different name, and then flipping the die horizontally and vertically in the copy to create the back side of the layout. Together, the two jobs created a double-sided layout.
The following information describes how mirroring affects an existing layout.
Job element | Condition in mirrored die |
---|---|
Locked die | Retains locked status of the original |
Grouped die | Retains grouped status of the original |
Rotated die | Retains rotated status of the original |
Artwork |
|
Bound marks |
|
Die station numbering | Numbers mirror so that they back up correctly with the numbers on the front |
This procedure is for Pandora 3.2 and earlier.
