Install the latest version of the Matchprint Virtual calibration software on each Mac computer that will be used for virtual proofing in Smart Review.

Requirements: You can run Matchprint Virtual under a Standard User account. Before you start the installation process, you must obtain the Administrator password for the Mac on which the Matchprint Virtual software is being installed.

After installing Matchprint Virtual 9.5 and setting a fixed luminance, make sure that the viewing booth luminance matches your monitor luminance. For more information, see the Matchprint Virtual Best Viewing Practices Guide.

  1. Log in to Kodak's Customer Portal website at Customer Portal, using your Customer Portal credentials.
  2. Click on the Service & Support tab, then select Search Knowledgebase Answers.
  3. In the resulting search and results page, type either 37266 or Matchprint Virtual - Downloads in the search field.

  4. Download the Matchprint Virtual 9.2 software to a temporary location on your computer. 

  5. Double-click the installer icon, and follow the instructions.
  6. Restart the computer.

  7. Connect the measuring device to a USB port on the Mac computer.
    Important: Do not use the USB port on the monitor, keyboard, or USB hub.
