Set up communication between Prinergy 9.5 and the Kodak Prosper digital front end Galil via Setup. Legacy mode of Adding Connection via Prinergy Administrator is not longer supported in Prinergy 9.5 and above.
Check that Prinergy supports the software version of your digital press front end. See supported digital presses.

If you have multiple Prosper presses, perform this procedure for each press on Prinergy 9.0 and lower. On Prinergy 9.5 and above with Galil 1.6 and above, please see Setup.

1. Make sure that the following TCP ports are open between Prinergy and the Galil front end:
   • 61237
   • 49700
2. In Prinergy Administrator, add the Prosper as a digital press. On the Managed Connections menu, click Add Connection, and select the type of digital press. Type the server name or IP address and press speed for the digital press.
   The digital press is listed in Digital Submit, Digital Direct, and Workshop.

Give Prinergy access to the Prosper front end Galil so that Prinergy can track audits. On the Prosper front end Galil, add the user account ARAXI. The default password for the Araxi account is ARAXI.
