You can move jobs to another Prinergy server or bring jobs in from another Prinergy server. The metadata and job history are moved but the job files remain on the job's home server.
You can move jobs between two Prinergy systems using the Move Job From Server action or the Move Job To Server action.

• The Move Job From Server action "pulls" a job from another Prinergy system and stores it on the Prinergy system on which you create the rule. This action operates the same way as the Move Job from Server menu item in Workshop.
• The Move Job To Server action "pushes" a job from the Prinergy system on which you create the rule and stores it on another Prinergy system. This action uses the MoveJobToLocal rule set on the target Prinergy system. This rule set ships with your Prinergy system and is located in the Prinergy Systems group in Rule Set Library.
  The Move Job To Server action is unique to RBA. You cannot use Workshop to move a job from your Prinergy system to a remote Prinergy system, except by exporting it. 

How It Works

When you move a job or pre-job, the metadata and job history are moved but the job files remain on the job's home server.
If the job has rule sets enabled in it, the rule sets are automatically enabled on the target Prinergy system.
Note: If the rule is executing when the job is moved, execution is permanently stopped.
