You can adjust trap size to compensate for misregistration that may occur on press.
Tip: Ask your press operator for a recommended trap size for the job.

1. From within PDF Trap Editor, select either the Simplified or the Detailed view of the Trap Page or Trap Selection dialog box.
2. Depending on which view you have selected:
   • If Simplified, set trap size in the Width and Height boxes.
   • If Detailed, click the General tab, and then set trap size in the Width and Height boxes.

The range is between 0.03 and 15 points (or 0.001 to 0.208 in, or 0.011 to 5.291 mm).
The height is automatically filled in with the same value when you enter the trap width. You can fill in the height with a different value than the width if you are printing with a flexo medium and need predistorted pages and traps.
