You can choose the colors that objects, traps, borders, and highlights will appear in when you select them with the PDF Trap Editor tool. The Preferences menu is available whether the PDF Trap Editor plug-in is closed or opened.

1. In Acrobat:
   • In Mac OS, select Acrobat > Preferences > Kodak > PDF Trap Editor.
   • In Windows, select Edit > Preferences > Kodak PDF Trap Editor.
2. Click the color swatch for one of the following:
   • Object Selection
   • Trap Selection
   • Highlights
   • Border Selection
3. In the color selection chart, select a basic or custom color swatch.
4. Click OK to close the color selection chart.
5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 for each highlight preference or click Defaults to return the highlight items to their PDF trapper-defined colors.
6. Click OK to close the Preferences dialog box.

When you select an object, trap, and/or a border in PDF Trap Editor, the selected items will appear in the colors you chose.
When you click the Highlight objects set to overprint and the Highlight traps buttons in the PDF Trap Viewer toolbar, the objects and/or traps will appear with the highlight color you chose.
