Before you can use a new color bar for Certified Process for Color Confirmation jobs, the artwork PDF file must be processed using the color-management process settings for the applicable proofing workflow.

Ensure that the correct process settings identify the:

• Applicable media configuration
• Spectrophotometer to be used to measure this color bar
• Layout that references this color bar
• ICC device or DeviceLink profile

Note: Open Connectivity in demo mode cannot be used to color manage a new color bar. A watermark prints on the color bar during the color-management step and prevents accurate measurement.
