Overview

Why you should complete this activity

To output files from Prinergy to a platesetter, you need to create a process template so that you can render the files using a high-resolution job ticket processor (JTP) and image separations onto the selected media (plate/film/flexo).

For Kodak ThermoFlex output devices, however, direct workflow with Prinergy and Print Console (GDAPI) is not applicable. Instead, you need to use the indirect 1-Bit TIFF workflow (using TIFF Downloader). Consult your Kodak representative if you are not sure on your workflow-output device connectivity.

In this activity, you will output 1-Bit TIFF files to a designated subfolder of your job.
