  1. Open XX_Pack_Automation_Job2 again.
  2. In Job Manager, select the Separations view.
  3. Select Vitamin (1 Step and Repeat) and open the Custom Field Manager dialog box.
  4. Select Separation on the left pane and then Add.
  5. In the Add Custom Field dialog box, enter the following:
    • Name: Checked by QC
    • Type: Yes /No
    • Default Value: (Leave as default: the check box is clear)
  6. Click Add. Close the Add Custom Field dialog box.
  7. Close the Custom Fields Manager dialog box. Note that a new visible column shows up in the Separations view of Job Manager.
  8. To track the status of a separation element, say, cyan, right-click Cyan Separation, and select one of the following:
    • Edit Custom Fields
    • Get Info
  9. Select Checked by QC on the Name list of the Custom Fields Editor, or the Custom Fields list of the the info box, and then select the check box. Close the editor or the info box.
    Note: You can also select or clear the check box of the custom fields directly in the Separations view.
  10. Repeat Step 7 and 8 for other color separations.
  11. Close the job.
