- In the 1-Up Artwork pane, select and right-click the refined PDF, and then select PDF Editing > Open PDF for Editing.
The file is opened and converted to native Adobe Illustrator file format. - Select a text object in the artwork.
On the Layers palette, you can see that all elements are protected (Kodak Protected Art), saving them from unintentional changes.
In Workshop, you can see the name of the operator that has opened the file for editing in the Open for Edit By column of the 1-Up Artwork pane, as well as a pencil icon indicating that the file is opened for editing. This prevents other users from making changes in the file while it is being worked on.
