You can view the location in which a master element is stored for an alias in a project or library.
Requirements: You must have access to the project or library where the master element is stored. If you do not have access to this location, a message appears, indicating that the master element's location could not be found.
- Select the alias, and select Alias > Show Alias Master.
A new window displays the location of the master element.
Note: If a master element is deleted, the master element location cannot be found. You must delete the alias and then recreate it to point to a new master element.
