The wizard cannot go further until it knows which spectrophotometer to use for the rest of the procedure.
Cause
In order to calibrate or check calibration, you need a supported spectrophotometer attached to your computer. If you don't have a supported spectrophotometer, you must install one.
The wizard attempts to connect to the selected spectrophotometer, and the wizard alerts you when:
- No supported spectrophotometer is attached. The wizard prompts you to connect a supported spectrophotometer.
- You have a spectrophotometer that is different from the one used to make the previous calibration. If you are calibrating, the wizard prompts you to select the previously-used spectrophotometer or a new one. If you are checking calibration, you must either attach the previously-used spectrophotometer or create a new calibration with the new spectrophotometer.
Solution
Verify that the desired spectrophotometer is supported. See Matchprint Inkjet spectrophotometers.
- Verify that the spectrophotometer is turned on.
- Verify that the USB connector is securely fastened to your computer.
