You can edit a Kodak or custom media configuration to add support for calibrating with a different spectrophotometer type.
Requirements: The new spectrophotometer must support the same measurement condition (Mx, UV-cut, or unfiltered) as the spectrophotometer used to create the media configuration.
1. In Proofer Viewer, from the Configure menu, select Media Configuration.
2. Select a media configuration, and click Edit.
3. In the Supported Spectrophotometers area, click Add.
4. Read the message, and click OK.
5. In the Spectrophotometer list, select the spectrophotometer that you want to add, and click OK.
Note: The selection list includes only compatible spectrophotometers.
6. When the Spectrophotometer was added successfully message appears, click OK.
The new spectrophotometer appears in the Spectrophotometers Supported area.
