Install the JDF Workflow Planner software

Install the JDF Workflow Planner (JWP) software to create JDF job tickets for the NexPress device.

These recommendations apply to the JDF Workflow Planner:

• Although you can set the substrates for inserts in the JDF Workflow Planner software, there is no way to assign pages to be an insert in the Prinergy software. You must send the file from Prinergy to the NexPress front-end software, and then edit the job ticket using the NexPress front-end software to identify pages as being different substrate types.
• When using Mac OS X 10.7 or later, you may need to use the IP address rather than the computer name in the JDF Workflow Planner software.

1. Obtain the JDF Workflow Planner software either from the Prinergy Installation CD or by downloading the Prinergy Digital Print bundle from the Kodak services and support portal.
2. Install the JDF Workflow Planner. Perform one of the following actions:
   • In Windows, double-click the PrinergyJWP.exe file and follow the prompts.
   • In the Mac OS, drag the PrinergyJWP.exe folder to the Applications folder.
