Editing a hot folder

After you submit a job, the only way to change the job's processor settings is to edit the hot folder, and then resubmit the job.

You may be required to save the hot folder with a new name, to allow any processing of existing pages to successfully complete with the old settings. You can then submit new pages to the edited version of the hot folder.

For hot folders that are set up to process 1-bit TIFF files, you cannot edit the hot folder when it is receiving or processing files or when files are queued for processing. You can edit the hot folder only when it is idle.

1. In Proofer Viewer, select Configure> Hot Folders / Virtual Printers.
2. In the Hot Folders / Virtual Printers dialog box, select a hot folder.
3. Click Edit.
4. In the Process Settings dialog box, edit the desired settings.
5. Click Save.
