If the Content Check is activated for the customer, the Content Check panel appears in the Smart Review. You can use the Content Check to let the system inspect the contents of the image and automatically generate annotations.

Requirement: You must have a project role that includes View Tasks user and Use Content Check user rights.

You can generate the following types of annotations:

  • Barcode
  • Braille
  • Spell Check
  • Text Compare

To generate annotations on a file, the following conditions must be met:

  • The file must be stored in a project. When you view a file that is stored in a library, the Content Check panel is unavailable in Smart Review.
  • You must select a task that is associated with the file and assigned to you in the task list in Smart Review. You cannot add Content Check annotations to the file when no task is assigned.
  • The selected task's status is not set.
  • For barcode annotations, the file must be one of the following file types: PDF, AI (PDF Compatible), JPG, PNG, TIFF, BMP.
  • For braille annotations, the file must be one of the following file types: PDF, AI (PDF Compatible), TIFF, BMP.
  • For Spell Check and Text Compare annotations, the file must be one of the following file types, and the texts must be the live texts in the file: PDF, AI (PDF Compatible).

Notes:

  • When you annotate a file that has multiple revisions, the annotations apply to the current revision only. If you display a different revision in Smart Review, annotations that you added to other revisions do not appear.
  • The comments for the Content Check annotations are automatically generated and you cannot edit them.
