If you have multiple VPS+ or TIFF Assembler Plus stations at your site (Macintosh, Windows, or a combination of Macintosh and Windows), you can export various settings from one station to another:

The settings are saved as an XML file, which you can export to another station. You can also use the XML file as a backup file for an individual station.

  1. From the File menu, click Export
  2. Select an option:
    • All: To export all preferences settings, all layout presets, all job planning presets, and the spot color database
    • Preferences: To export all preferences settings
    • Layout Setup: To export all layout presets
    • Sleeve Parameters: To export all sleeve planning parameters
    • Spot Color Database: To export the spot color database
    • Hot Folders: To export all Hot Folder settings
  3. In the Export dialog box, browse to the location where you want to save the file.
  4. In the File name box, type a name for the file.
  5. Click Export.
The settings are saved as an XML file. If you are using this option to back up your settings, you have completed the procedure.
If you are using this option to export the settings to another TIFF Assembler Plus station, perform the next step.
  6. Export the XML file to another TIFF Assembler Plus station.
    1. Copy the XML file to another TIFF Assembler Plus station.
    2. In the TIFF Assembler Plus software of the other station, from the File menu, click Import
