Check what you see in the Acrobat window against the trap's properties in the Properties Editor (or Viewer). Change the magnification or the focus in the Acrobat window to improve your view.
For a selected trap, the Properties Editor (or Viewer) shows:
- Selected trap icon in left pane
- Number of traps selected
- Swatches for trap and adjacent colors
- Trap direction
- Neutral density
- Color separations for trap and adjacent objects (with CMYK percentages and spot colors).
- Trap size (width and height)
- Trap trimming
- Line join style
- Miter limit
- Three-color joins (mitered corners, clipped chokes)
Note: If a selected grouping such as a color pair contains more than one trap, any differing or mixed trap values will be indicated in the Properties Editor/Viewer with an * (asterisk), the Line Join Style list may show as blank, and the toggle button may show a modified check mark. If a grouping contains a least one untrapped border, only the colorant is shown, and other values are disabled.
