You can step-and-repeat marks that are related to artwork. Following this procedure ensures that the mark appears at the correct location for all artwork and on top of all artwork, and prevents the situation where the row above or column next to the step-and-repeat may obscure the mark if the gap value is negative enough.
- Step and repeat the artwork.
- Place the mark on the original artwork.
- Select the step-and-repeat and mark, and then select Object > Apply to All.
