A JTP system pool is a group of one or more similar JTPs that have been grouped together to further automate your workflow. A JTP pool enables you to direct Prinergy Evo software to automatically distribute tasks to individual JTPs, rather than you coordinating which JTP to use. Tasks are distributed in the JTPs within a pool according to priority-the top priority process is sent to the first available JTP in the pool. This helps you automatically process multiple files at the same time and guarantees that the top priority processes are completed first.
A JTP pool can include only JTPs of the same type-that is, JTPs that perform the same task. For example, you cannot have an Refine JTP in the same pool as an Output JTP.
You add and remove JTPs from pools in the JTP Status dialog box in the Prinergy Evo Client software.
