When customers upload files or folders for a job, the system can automatically process the files or folders according to predefined rules, called upload processing rules. These rules instruct the system what to do with the files—for example, refine the PDF file, or copy the PDF file.
First, you create the upload processing rules, and then you associate the rules with one or more jobs or product templates. To change which upload processing rule is used, you edit the job properties or the product template.
When the system processes the files or folders, warnings and errors may appear in the Upload dialog box.
- Warnings are for your information only. You can safely ignore warnings.
- Errors indicate a problem with the file that prevents the system from processing it. You must fix the error and upload the files or folders again.
