Before you can view color-accurate surfaces, your color monitor or monitors must be successfully calibrated. Monitor calibration must be done to ensure accurate color viewing.

When calibration finishes successfully, Status: Calibrated appears at the bottom of the left pane when you view a surface in Window mode. The date and time at which the calibration expires is also listed.
