Use presets to store reusable setups for layouts and job planning. After loading a preset for a job, you can adjust the settings as needed.

Enabling presets in Preferences

  1. Go to Edit > Preferences.
  2. For corrugated job presets, do this:
    1. Select Job Planning.
    2. Select the Enable job planning mode check box.
    3. Set other options as needed.
  3. For plate-on-sleeve job presets, do this:
    1. Select Sleeve Planning.
    2. Select the Enable sleeve planning mode check box.
    3. Set other options as needed.

Accessing the presets lists and settings

  1. In the File menu, select the desired option:
    • Layout Setup
    • Job Planning Setup (for corrugated jobs)
    • Sleeve Planning > Setup (for plate-on-sleeve jobs)
      In the Setup dialog box that appears, the Presets pane provides a list of any existing presets and buttons for managing the list.
      The Job Planning Setup and Sleeve Planning appear in the File menu only if you have enabled those options in Edit > Preferences.
  2. To display the settings that are currently stored by an existing preset, locate and select the preset name.

Tips:

  • Boldface indicates a default preset.
  • To resize the list pane, drag the lower-right corner or border.
  • To rearrange the list, drag the items as needed.

Creating a preset

  1. Click .
  2. Type a name for the preset. 
  3. Edit any available settings as needed for the preset.
  4. Click Save.

Setting or changing the default preset

Bold text indicates the current default preset.

  1. Select the preset that will be the new default.
  2. Click the Set as Default button. 
  3. Click Save.

Modifying a preset

  1. Select the preset. 
  2. In the settings pane, make any changes needed.
  3. Click Save.

Deleting a preset

  1. Select the preset. 
  2. Click .
  3. Click Save
