You can only restart Prinergy Evo software while Prinergy Evo is running.

  1. Right-click the Prinergy Evo Administrator icon on the system tray.
  2. Click Open to open the Prinergy Evo Administrator dialog box.
  3. In the System tab, click Restart in order to automatically start Prinergy Evo software.
  4. In the Prinergy Evo Shutdown-Restarting dialog box, set the options as required.
  5. To stop processing immediately, in the Restart Prinergy Evo dialog box, in the Choose how to restart Prinergy Evo list, select the option that determines the state of the Prinergy Evo system after restart:
    • Finish current processing before stopping Prinergy Evo 
      Prinergy Evo software waits until the current file has finished processing before stopping the Prinergy Evo Server software. 
    • Halt processing immediately (may be resumed later)
      Newly submitted processes are not initiated until after restart.
  6. Click Restart Now.

    Prinergy Evo normally takes at least one minute to stop and restart.
    For emergencies where the system appears to be indefinitely stopped, click Force Quit.

  7. Click Done.
