You can import user-defined libraries into Prinergy Evo.

  1. From the Configure menu in the Process Viewer, select Color Definitions.
  2. In the Color Database Editor dialog box, click Import.
  3. In the Import Color Library dialog box, navigate to the color database library you wish to import.
  4. On a Windows-based computer, in the Files of Type list, select CGATS.5, Prinergy, or All Files. On a Macintosh computer, select CGATS.5 or Prinergy files.
    CGATS.5 files have a .txt suffix. Prinergy files have a .dat suffix.
    • If you select CGATS.5 on a Windows-based computer, Prinergy Evo only displays CGATS.5 files. CGATS stands for the Committee for Graphic Arts Technologies Standards and is an ASCII file format suitable for representing color data.
    • If you select Prinergy on a Windows-based computer, Prinergy Evo only displays Prinergy-based files.
    • If you select All Files on a Windows-based computer, Prinergy Evo displays both CGATS.5 and Prinergy files.
  5. Click the color database library that you wish to import.
    When you click a Prinergy or CGATS.5 file, Prinergy Evo displays additional details about the file in the File Info area of the dialog box.
  6. To change the name of the color library, type a new and unique name in the Import As box.
    The name you type in the Import As box will appear in the Color Libraries list in the Color Database Editor dialog box.
  7. Click Import.
