This section lists bugs and limitations that are known to exist in the software. If a future version of the software resolves a bug listed here, the bug is moved to the Fixed bugs section of the release notes accompanying that version of the software.

Digital Job Ticket Editor

• In Windows, when using Digital Job Ticket Editor from within Workshop to edit a job ticket, it is intended to behave as a modal window, that is, it should prevent interactions with other elements of the Workshop client user interface until you have completed your interaction with Digital Job Ticket Editor. The current behavior on Windows is non-modal and incorrectly allows other elements in the Workshop client to be edited while Digital Job Ticket Editor is open. Therefore, it is not recommended to do anything in Workshop until you have finished using Digital Job Ticket Editor (clicking Submit or Cancel ). [PRINERGY-40231]

• When using Digital Job Ticket Editor from within Workshop (Send to Digital command) or when opening Device Track from the Workshops Tools menu, the Measurement Unit defined in Workshop's Preferences is used and the Weight Unit and Thickness Unit (Caliper) are taken from Setup's Preferences.
  When Device Track is opened on the web (not from within Workshop), all unit settings in Digital Job Ticket Editor are taken from Setup's Preferences. [PRINERGY-42049]

• Settings available In RBA are not necessarily relevant to all digital devices. If you set a parameter which is not relevant for the selected device, this setting will be ignored when the rule is executed.
• Digital Job Ticket Editor can only display substrates in the Substrate drop down list that have sizes assigned. If a user creates a substrate on the digital device that lacks a defined size, it will not be sent to Prinergy and will not appear in Prinergy's Job Ticket Editor. [PRINERGY-46624]
• Digital Job Ticket Editor's Substrate drop down cannot display two substrates with the same name. If a user defines two substrates with the same name and size only one of them will be appear in Job Ticket Editor. [PRINERGY-46624]

Device Track

• In order for Device Track to operate correctly within Internet Explorer 11, the setting Display intranet sites in Compatibility View must be disabled. This setting is enabled by default.
  To change the Compatibility View setting, in Internet Explorer, from the Tools menu, select Compatibility View Settings, and in the Compatibility View Settings dialog box, clear the Display intranet sites in Compatibility View check box, and click Close to apply the change. [PRINERGY-41259]
• In Internet Explorer 11, when you use the Refresh button in the browser to refresh Device Track, sometimes the data displayed is the data saved in its cache and not the data from the server.

• When using Internet Explorer with Device Track, Device Track requires version 11 or later. [PRINERGY-41757]

• Resizing columns in Device Track may result in columns being pushed off screen. [PRINERGY-41180]

• Digital output jobs may fail to output if moved from a Digital-Direct/Digital-Submit-connected device to a JDF-bi-directional-connected device. [PRINERGY-44863]

• An issue with status reporting coming from Kodak Xpo can cause the In Process queues in Prinergy’s Device Track UI and Xpo to get out of sync and display output separation in the wrong order in Device Track. [PRINERGY-47843]

• After successful completion of output to EFI or Canon digital front-ends, the completed output jobs are absent from all queues in Device Track. [PRINERGY-47923] [PRINERGY-43780]

• In some older versions of EFI Fiery software, the number of inks reported was limited to five. This would cause jobs with more than five colors to incorrectly limit their color reporting back to Prinergy’s Device Track UI to five colors. [PRINERGY-46698]

• When resubmitting a separation via Device Track, the separation receives a new Job ID from the device control software (Xpo or Print Console). This is due to the separation being treated as a new output instance rather than a remake of a previous output.

TIFF Direct CTP connectivity

• When resubmitting a job to Print Console, two instances of the job will appear in the Print Console queue. The original job will include a note indicating it was removed by a Prinergy Workshop client, but still appears in the list. The second instance is the resubmitted job.[PRINERGY-46206]
• When adding a new media configuration, such as a new plate size, to a CTP output device, there is a delay of about one minute between adding it to the device and the new media appearing in Prinergy Workflow's UI via the new TIFF Direct connectivity. [PRINERGY-46439]
• When adding or removing punch settings on a CTP device, the status change is not communicated to Prinergy Workflow. If you add or remove a punch from a CTP device, you must disconnect the device from the Prinergy Administrator (UADM) and reconnect it to refresh the punch status. [PRINERGY-46404]
• The Cut Media check box in the Device section of the final output process template is not supported by Xpo and Print Console and should not be selected.[PRINEGY-46874]
• The Media Registration setting in the Layout section of the final output process template (Layout > Media > Media Registration) is not supported for Print Console. Use the Punch Setting instead (Layout section > Placement > Punch Setting). [PRINERGY-46856]
• The Punch Setting list contains all available punch settings for the selected device. When you select a punch setting, make sure you select a punch that is compatible with the selected media.
• VMR (Variable Mainscan Resolution) imaging is not supported with Xpo. [PRINERGY-47187]
• VMR (Variable Mainscan Resolution) imaging is not supported with Print Console. [PRINERGY-47338]

• When using a slugline mark with the updated sluglinemark positioning settings in the process template with direct (GDAPI) and TIFF Direct connectivity to CTP devices, the slugline mark may appear in the wrong location on the plate. [PRINERGY-46463] 

CTP connectivity

• When using a slugline mark with the updated sluglinemark positioning settings in the process template with direct (GDAPI) and TIFF Direct connectivity to CTP devices, the slugline mark may appear in the wrong location on the plate. [PRINERGY-46463] 

• When adding or removing punch settings on a CTP device, the status change is not communicated to Prinergy Workflow. If you add or remove a punch from a CTP device, you must restart the JTP and define a new process template. [PRINERGY-46404]

Setup

• Due to limitations in third-party JDF implementation, some settings may not flow back to Setup when updated in the front end software. This can include: binding edge, maximum density, layout, and sheet size options. [PRINERGY-39050] [PRINERGY-39982] [PRINERGY-40039] [PRINERGY-40045] [PRINERGY-41511] [PRINERGY-41632] [PRINERGY-41732] [PRINERGY-41745] [PRINERGY-41836] [PRINERGY-41906]

• Setup may have problems being installed via Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.
  To install Setup via Microsoft Silverlight with Microsoft Edge, see the following support article from Microsoft: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17472/windows-internet-explorer-11-fix-site-display-problems-compatibility-view#ie=ie-11. [PRINERGY-41686]
  If you are having problems installing via Chrome, use a different browser. [PRINERGY-41032]
• Setup cannot be installed via Firefox on Mac OS X 10.12 because Firefox on Mac OS X 10.12 does not support Microsoft Silverlight. Use a different browser to install and to start Setup. [PRINERGY-44565]
• If you try to import substrates and/or reload device capabilities (in Setup > Equipment > Digital Device) from a connected press or DFE while this device is down, the substrates and/or device settings will no longer be visible in the Digital Job Ticket Editor when you submit a job. Once the device is up and running, you must re-import the substrates and/or reload the device capabilities so that they are visible again in the Digital Job Ticket Editor. [PRINERGY-45261] 
• Setup is not localized with Chinese and Japanese on macOS Sierra (version 10.12) and macOS High Sierra (version 10.13) because of missing fonts. [PRINERGY-46365] 
  To solve this issue, install the missing fonts:
• 1. MS Gothic.ttf -> for Japanese
  2. 华文黑体.ttf -> for Chinese

Job search

• In Job Finder, in the job advanced search feature, the search fails if you use the is not operator with a numerical value. [PRINERGY-38941]
• In Job Finder, in the job advanced search feature, if you select Any, the search results contain both jobs and pre-jobs that match the defined search criteria. [PRINERGY-39664]

Integration with ColorFlow

The following limitations have been identified for using the ColorFlow software with Prinergy:

• Pages added to a ColorFlow-enabled job using Prinergy's Bypass Refine will have undefined Color Setup. This is expected behavior. Refining with ColorConvert enabled is recommended with ColorFlow integration.

• If you attempt to output a file with a different snapshot number from the number you defined in the refine process template, an error message appears.

ColorConvert

The following ColorConvert problems have been identified:

• Color matching certain files with transparent objects can result in significant changes in appearance. The problem is file specific and is dependent on the transparency blending modes applied, the object's color and the DeviceLink or ICC profile used to colorconvert the objects. The problem occurs because each graphic and image object used in the transparency group is color-converted separately. Blending of the objects in the destination color space changes the appearance.
  Recommendation: Flatten the PDF files. If your PDF files contain RGB data, it is highly recommended to Color-Convert this data prior to flattening. Refer to Answer ID 72326 for best practices and setting up a 2-Step refine.
  Note: Contone proofing cannot be used to predict this issue when colormatching is performed on final output.

• ColorMatch vector overprint handling of certain files with transparency groups that also use overprint management can generate unexpected results. The new objects generated by the ColorMatcher vector overprint handling process end up ruining the appearance. Contone proofing with raster overprint handling cannot be used to predict the problem with vector overprint handling used on final output. See the Prinergy help for detailed descriptions about the processing differences between raster and vector overprint handling.
  Recommendation: Flatten the PDF files. If your PDF files contain RGB data, it is highly recommended to Color-Convert this data prior to flattening. Refer to Answer ID 72326 for best practices and setting up a 2-Step refine.

• RGB Transparency Blend Color Space is not supported. Blend spaces should only be defined as DeviceCMYK.
  Recommendation: Change the blend space in the input file or set up a Preflight+ profile to detect and/or fix the condition.

• ColorConvert is automatically selected in Vector Output process templates after you upgrade to Prinergy 8.2. This is due to a migration script bug. If you have a Basic License which doesn’t enable ColorConvert, vector output will fail. If you are licensed for advanced Color Management, Color Conversion will be applied at output and may cause incorrect output. [PRINERGY-42167]
  Workaround: open any Vector Output process templates which should not have ColorConvert enabled and clear the ColorConvert checkbox.

Preflight+

• callas process plans and profiles that create layers or contain unlicensed DeviceLinks are not supported.

• Kodak does not support or provide a license of callas pdfToolbox software. However, a copy of pdfToolbox (Preflight+ Profile Manager) is provided and licensed solely for the purpose of editing and creating preflight profiles that are to be used within Prinergy. Modification of the license as well as changing or upgrading the version of callas pdfToolbox that is provided with Prinergy is not recommended and not supported by Kodak. Kodak does not provide assistance or support for editing or creating new callas profiles. For information and support with the creation and editing of profiles, go to http://www.callassoftware.com/en/support/documentation.
  Note: Kodak does support issues related to the integration of callas preflight within Prinergy Workshop.

• Overview reports contain information from all pages in a multi-page PDF input file. When you open the report, it may contain information about pages you haven't selected.
• Report Page links are supported only when you copy the full report.

• callas fix-ups are "use at own risk". Exercise extra caution and check your proofs closely when applying fix-ups.

• callas Profiles and Prinergy support different variations of the Chinese character set.

  • Simplified = ZH_CN (callas) = PRC

  • Simplified = ZH_Hans (Prinergy) = South East Asia and Singapore

• Higher disk space demands—each PDF report contains a copy of the original Input PDF file.

• To avoid Preflight+ becoming a bottleneck in the Refine process, it is advised to purchase the same amount of Preflight+ JTPs as Refine JTPs.
• In translated reports, fix-up names in Preflight+ appear in English or in the language set in the operating system. If you chose to generate the Preflight+ reports in two or more languages (in Administrator: Tools > Configure System > Preflight+ Settings > Report Language, or in Setup: Preferences > General > Preflight+ Settings > Report Language), the names of the predefined profiles and fix-ups may appear in English or in the language set in the operating system in the translated reports instead of appearing in the defined language. [PRINERGY-38227]
• The use of variables that prompt users for input are not supported.
• New Librarys for organizing Checks and Fixups into categories.
  Note: Profiles with Devicelink, Javascript and Variables are not supported.

Flattener 

Prinergy 8.2 introduces a new PDF Library 1507 responsible for flattening PDF files.

When flattening transparency the new flattener may create ICCBased images. If you set Preflight (Advanced or basic via Normalize Input Control or Optimizer Digital Master Control) to fail on ICCBased images, you may have to set these options to Warn or Ignore.

To avoid the more noticeable color shifts that could occur when viewing objects adjacent to flattener-created objects, it is advised to strip embedded profiles on Tagged Content via the Colormatcher section of the Refine Process Template. If performing a two-step Refine the profiles should be stripped via the 2nd Refine Process Template.

Tagging images as ICCBased could be beneficial to downstream processes but this may result in minor color shifts if you compare PDF files flattened in Prinergy version 8.2 against PDF files created in previous versions. Because of this it is recommended to reproof after upgrading to Prinergy 8.2.

Ink Coverage detection using Advanced Preflight may not be accurate on ICCBased images. Typically if you are flattening, you should be performing a two-step Refine. In a two-step Refine, detecting ink coverage is likely to occur on the 1st Refine prior to flattening, so you would not be subject to this limitation.

Please contact regional support and reference SKV 74201 to have a Flattener drop-in fix applied that will avoid the ICCBased tagging issues.

Adobe PDF Print Engine

The Adobe PDF Print Engine (APPE) RIP cannot process PDF files containing embedded PostScript objects, including pages that were processed with PostScript bypass or with the OPI bypass features of Prinergy.

The APPE RIP is the preferred RIP for Prinergy.

APPE 4.7 adds support for a maximum of 123 spots colors. However, for Refine Thumbnail creation the maximum is 47. This is increased from a previous limit of 27 spot colors.

Observe the following precautions:

• Proofs and plates: In plating jobs with the APPE RIP, be careful with plates that were proofed with the previous APPE RIP. Because the RIPs are different, there is a slight chance of an interpretation difference between proof and plate. Ideally, jobs should be plated with the same version of Prinergy that was used to generate the proofs.
  Note: To avoid this situation you should coordinate hub and spoke configurations when upgrading Prinergy.

• Reprints: For reprints of jobs that were printed previously using an older RIP, it is recommended that you rerun proofs using the new RIP to ensure there are no unforeseen differences between the original press run and the reprint.

New PANTONE+ V3 libraries

In keeping with PANTONE best practice guidelines, all previous PANTONE libraries have been removed as factory libraries and will no longer appear in your process templates. Previous Prinergy PANTONE libraries are provided in archive format and can be imported as user libraries, if desired, for legacy reprint jobs. For more details, see About PANTONE libraries.

Maxtone CX, Maxtone FX, and Maxtone SX RIP

Kodak Maxtone CX, Maxtone FX, and Maxtone SX screens are available for APPE RIP only. They are not available for use with CPSI RIP.

System spot color library L*a*b* 2000

When system spot color library L*a*b* 2000 is added to a refine process template, it may not appear in the spot color libraries list but it will be available to be used by refine processes created from the refine process template. [PRINERGY-44022]

Refine to PDF/x-1a fails when Lab Spot Color Libraries are loaded and you are NOT converting Spots

As of Prinergy 8.0, all factory Spot Color libraries were replaced with Pantone V3 Lab libraries. If you refine a file that contains a Spot Color that is defined in the Lab library, the Spot Colors Alternate Color Space will change to Lab. Since Lab is not allowed in PDF/x-1a, the process will fail.

To resolve this, you can remove the PANTONE V3 library or load a CMYK library, such as a legacy user or ColorBridge library (Answer ID 73041). 
Note: If your incoming PDF has Spots with LAB Alternate Color space, you will want to have a CMYK Pantone library loaded, otherwise refine will also fail.

When converting Spots to Process, its recommended to use the new PANTONE V3 Library. See the About Pantone Libraries section of the Workflow Help for more information. (PRINERGY-43630)

Selecting “Replace variable marks in PDF content files” causes incorrect overprints on some objects 

When using this setting you must follow the procedure outlined in Partner Place Answer ID 69302. Failing to do so could result in serious Output problems.

Register of a versioned page fails after the page has been opened in Acrobat on a Mac

If you open an LPV page in Acrobat and then re-generate it, the Register step will fail with an access violation message. This only happens when dealing with Windows 2008 servers and if the PDF has been opened on a Mac. [PRINERGY-29349]

Workaround: Unmount the Mac share.

Additional Register JTPs configured to run on a secondary server are incorrectly homed on the primary server after restart

[Prinergy-34180]

Mitered joins in text objects

Mitered joins in text objects with very large strokes may render incorrectly in low resolution output (300 dpi). [PRINERGY-38023]

Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 and 2012 R2 operating systems

The following limitations have been identified when running Prinergy using the Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 or Windows Server 2012 R2 operating systems:

• Not all legacy Kodak computer-to-plate (CTP) devices have controlled release software that is compatible with Windows 2008 R2 or 2012 R2. Contact your Kodak representative to confirm if your CTP device has a compatible controlled release software available.

• Services for Apple Macintosh does not work with Windows Server 2008 R2 or 2012 R2. You must use SMB with named forks.

• After upgrading a Windows 2008 R2 server, SMB 2 will be incorrectly enabled which can cause performance and file consistency problems. Contact your local support representative to have it disabled again.

• Due to some cases of performance issues encountered in relation to SMB 3, Prinergy servers running Prinergy 8.2 versions are shipped with SMB 2 and 3 disabled by default. If you wish to enable SMB 3, all Prinergy servers and tertiary servers should be running Windows Server 2012 R2. If any of the Prinergy servers are running Windows Server 2008 R2 or any of the tertiary servers are not running Windows Server 2012 R2, SMB 2 and 3 need to be disabled so that SMB 1 is used. If this is not done, this can cause performance and file access/transfer issues. For assistance in disabling SMB 2 and 3, contact your local support representative.

Security problem prevents starting Workshop on Mac OS X 10.8 and later

To enable activation of Workshop, perform the following steps: [PRINERGY-34821]

1. Open System Preferences.

2. Click Security and Privacy.

3. Click the General tab.

4. Click the lock icon located in the lower-left corner of the Security & Privacy window.

5. Enter your administrator credentials to enable making changes to the settings.

6. Under Allow apps downloaded from, select Anywhere.

7. Close System Preferences.

Security problem prevents installing or starting Setup on Mac OS X 10.8 and later

To enable installation and/or activation of Setup, perform the following steps: [PRINERGY-41785]

1. In Safari, go to Preferences > Security.
2. In the Security window, click Plug-in Settings….
3. In the left pane, select the Silverlight check box.
   A list of servers is displayed in the right pane.
4. In the menu located next to the relevant server, select Run in Safe Mode.
   Note: In Mac OS X 10.12, press and hold down the Options (Alt) key, and in the menu located next to the relevant server, select Run in Safe Mode.
5. In the confirmation message that appears, click Trust.
6. Click Done.
7. Exit Safari for the changes to take effect.
8. Go to System Preferences > Security and Privacy.
9. On the General tab, click the lock icon located in the lower-left corner of the Security & Privacy window.
10. Enter your administrator credentials to enable making changes to the settings.
11. In the Allow apps downloaded from setting, make sure that the App Store and identified developers option is selected.
12. Close all windows.

Symantec Anti-virus may stop Prinergy from starting

Some updates of Symantec Anti-Virus interpret Prinergy’s ARAXI service as a threat. This has been addressed in newer updates to Symantec Anti-Virus. It is recommended that you update your virus definitions to avoid any problems with Symantec Anti-Virus affecting the operation of your Prinergy Workflow system. Alternatively, to exclude araxi.exe from the threat list, refer to Partner Place answer ID: 72379. [PRINERGY-39813]

Network File System connectivity

Prinergy does not support The Open Group UNIX NFS (Open Group UNIX Network File System). You can access UNIX servers using an SMB/CIFS protocol installed on the server (such as SAMBA).

Windows 2012 R2 servers localized to Japanese

The fresh installer does not run on Windows 2012 R2 servers localized to Japanese. The server must be localized to English, or another supported non-Japanese localization before the fresh installer is run. Then, the server can be returned to Japanese localization. [PRINERGY-42036] 

XMP Screening Tags 

The current implementation of XMP screening tags in Prinergy 8.2 applies the full set of XMP screening settings to the output. (PRINERGY-43209)

NexPress Job Ticket Editor cannot be launched by Digital Submit on Windows 10

When running Digital Submit with NexPress on Windows 10, the Job Ticket Editor in Digital Submit fails to launch. [PRINERGY-41688]

Workarounds: To launch the NexPress Job Ticket Editor:

• Run Digital Submit and NexPress Job Ticket Editor on a workstation with a different operating system
• Manually launch the NexPress Job Ticket Editor outside Digital Submit.

HP Job Ticket Editor cannot be installed on Windows 8 and Windows 10

The HP Job Ticket Editor is software available from HP which is used in Prinergy Workflow when connecting to HP digital presses. The latest version of the software available from HP is not compatible with Windows 8 and Windows 10 operating systems. HP is aware of the issue and will address it in a future product update. [PRINERGY-41575]

HP

• When using a Hewlett Packard SmartStream DFE connected to multiple presses, each press connected to the SmartStream DFE consumes a connection license from Prinergy Workflow. If you have more presses connected to the SmartStream DFE than you have licenses for connections in Prinergy Workflow, Prinergy will not be able to connect with all presses connected to the SmartStream DFE. [PRINERGY-44364]
• If you try to import substrates and/or reload device capabilities (in Setup > Equipment > Digital Device) from a connected press or DFE while this device is down, the substrates and/or device settings will no longer be visible in the Digital Job Ticket Editor when you submit a job. Once the device is up and running, you must re-import the substrates and/or reload the device capabilities so that they are visible again in the Digital Job Ticket Editor. [PRINERGY-44749]
• HP DFE with multiple connected presses does not recognize Prinergy server by its name. Make sure the Prinergy server name is correctly resolved on the DFE. For a DFE running on Windows, add the Prinergy host name and IP address in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\host [PRINERGY-45428]

Ricoh 

• Perfect bound jobs with covers sent to Ricoh digital front end with PDF RIP Enhanced by Kodak type S4 may result in output with incorrect orientation. [PRINERGY-42077] 

• Due to limitations in JDF implementation for Ricoh digital front end with PDF RIP Enhanced by Kodak type S4, layout options are not currently supported. [PRINERGY-39050] 

• When sending a surface to Ricoh, the binding edge defined in the job will rotate 90 degrees clockwise due to geometry translation, but the end result of the output at the printer will be correct. If you have questions, contact your Kodak representative for assistance. [PRINERGY-42029]

• Jobs printed successfully move to On Hold queue rather than Completed queue in Device Track. This is a known Ricoh bug. [PRINERGY-45100]

Konica Minolta

The status of coated or uncoated stock may not be imported or reflected correctly in Prinergy Setup for digital connections to Konica Minolta IC-602 or C1070 digital printer front end software. Job settings may need to be manually updated in the Konica Minolta software to complete output successfully. [PRINERGY-43211]

EFI

• Due to a limitation in the bi-directional communication with EFI’s software, completed jobs are do not appear in Prinergy Workflow’s Device Track Completed queue and are not present in any queues upon completion. [PRINERGY-43780]
• Due to an EFI issue with bi-directional connectivity, Prinergy Device Track displays incorrect number of inks. [PRINERGY-46698]
• Due to a known EFI process with legacy JDF connectivity, jobs are not printed directly, but go to the On Hold queue first. [PRINERGY-46646]

Prinergy Workshop localized to Japanese

Submitting a file to Prinergy Workshop localized to Japanese via drag and drop to a process template may cause Workshop to quit unexpectedly. [PRINERGY-43660] 

Legacy Workspace Features

Workspace is an alternative job and imposition interface that was introduced in Prinergy 6.0 and supported through Prinergy 7.5. There are several elements that remain in the Prinergy Workflow user interface that are not supported with Workshop client workflows, for example:

• The Generate Imposition action in Rules Based Automation
• Run List Assignment in the Automated Page Assignment (APA) feature
• Intent Events and Actions
• The RunList Event
• Scenario Actions
• Validation Actions
• The Assigned Scenario Success Event

Note: It is recommended that you avoid using unsupported actions.

Prinergy Signature Select Limitations

Prinergy Signature Selection works in Preps 5 mode. Therefore, there are a number of limitations related to working with Preps 6 or later.

Editing impositions

• It is not possible to edit come-and-go, cut-and-stack, and multibinding style jobs with Signature Selection. If you try to edit an imposition that uses any of these styles, the Use Prinergy Signature Selection option will not be available in the Edit Imposition dialog box. Instead, you will be able to select Use External Imposition Application to start Preps.
• If you create a come-and-go or cut-and-stack imposition using Signature Selection, and then edit the imposition using Preps 6 or later, a warning message appears, indicating that the job was produced in an earlier version of Preps. You can ignore this message.

Importing Impositions

• Signature Selection does not support import of Preps 6 jobs with come-and-go or cut-and-stack binding styles. When creating a new imposition, if you select Use existing Preps job and select a Preps 6 job with a come-and-go or cut-and-stack binding style, an error message appears. You have the choice of selecting a different job file or using external imposition software to create the imposition.

Creating Impositions

• When you create a new imposition, the come-and-go or cut-and-stack binding styles are available in Preps 5 mode only.
• Preps 5 and 6 differ in the way that they display cut-and-stack and come-and-go jobs. In Preps 6, cut-and-stack jobs are shown as multiple webs, and come-and-go jobs are shown as multiple sections. In Prinergy Workshop, such jobs are displayed in the Preps 6 format, while in Signature Selection, they are displayed in the Preps 5 format. This is just a difference in display. The page assignment is correct and the imposition will print correctly.

Auto Select in Prinergy Signature Selection

The use of Auto Select in Prinergy Signature Selection may produce different results from the use of Auto Select in Preps. Check that Auto Select produces the expected results.

If required, you can use Move Up or Move Down to adjust the signature order, or use Add or Delete to get the right signature.
To prevent the problem, edit the PrepsPrinergy.cfg and the PrepsPrinergy.cfg.template files to include the line:
AUTOSELECT_MINIMUM_PAGES:1.

Dashboard

Regardless of the status of the enabled/disabled status of individual custom fields, all custom fields will be displayed in Dashboard. [PRINERGY-29639]

Limitations with SMB 2 and SMB 3 on Windows Servers in mixed environments

Due to some cases of performance issues encountered in relation to SMB 3, Prinergy servers running Prinergy 8.2 versions are shipped with SMB 2 and 3 disabled by default. If you wish to enable SMB 3, all Prinergy servers and tertiary servers should be running Windows Server 2012 R2. If any of the Prinergy servers are running Windows Server 2008 R2 or any of the tertiary servers are not running Windows Server 2012 R2, SMB 2 and 3 need to be disabled so that SMB 1 is used. If this is not done, this can cause performance and file access/transfer issues. For assistance in disabling SMB 2 and 3, contact your local support representative.

RBA

Rules Based Automation (RBA) may not start after upgrading to Prinergy Workflow 8.1.2. To address this issue, if encountered, see Partner Place answer 73601.

Licensing

When rolling back from Prinergy Workflow 8.1.2 to a previously installed version, the Prinergy server may be unable to automatically retrieve a license for the previously installed version. In these cases, you will receive an alert from Prinergy Administrator that the current license is invalid. If you encounter this problem, please contact your service organization to address the issue. [PRINERGY-45926]

Windows 2016 Tertiaries

Windows 2016 is not supported as a job home or as a tertiary for Prinergy Workflow. Additionally, if a Windows 2016 server is configured as a job home with a Prinergy Workflow system that includes an EPM+ failover server, when the EPM+ server is activated, it will not be able to access jobs from a job home on a Windows 2016 server. [PRINERGY-47070]

Creating Jobs Fails After Downgrading to 8.1.2 from 8.2.0

If a downgrade to Prinergy 8.1.2 is required after upgrading to 8.2.0, errors may be encountered with creating jobs in the downgraded 8.1.2 server.

If you encounter this problem, contact your Kodak service representative to address the issue with your Prinergy system. [PRINERGY-46987]

Aktuell werden unter Windows keine modalen Fenster verwendet, und Windows erlaubt unzulässigerweise, dass andere Elemente im Workshop-Client bearbeitet werden, während der Digital Job Ticket Editor geöffnet ist. Es wird daher empfohlen, keine Bearbeitungen in Workshop vorzunehmen, bis Sie Ihre Arbeit mit Digital Job Ticket Editor beendet haben (durch Klicken auf Senden oder Abbrechen ). [PRINERGY-40231]

Device Track

• Damit Device Track im Internet Explorer 11 ordnungsgemäß funktioniert, muss die Einstellung Intranetsites in Kompatibilitätsansicht anzeigen deaktiviert werden. Diese Einstellung ist standardmäßig aktiviert.
  Um die Einstellungen der Kompatibilitätsansicht zu ändern, wählen Sie im Internet Explorer aus dem Menü Extras die Option Einstellungen der Kompatibilitätsansicht, und entfernen Sie im Dialogfeld „Einstellungen der Kompatibilitätsansicht“ das Häkchen aus dem Kontrollkästchen Intranetsites in Kompatibilitätsansicht anzeigen. Klicken Sie anschließend auf Schließen, um die Änderungen zu übernehmen. [PRINERGY-41259]
• Wenn Sie im Internet Explorer 11 auf die Schaltfläche zum Aktualisieren klicken, um Device Track zu aktualisieren, werden manchmal die Daten angezeigt, die im Cache abgelegt wurden, und nicht die Daten vom Server.

• Wenn Sie den Internet Explorer mit Device Track verwenden, benötigt Device Track Version 11 oder höher. [PRINERGY-41757]

• Das Ändern der Spaltengrößen in Device Track kann dazu führen, dass Spalten aus dem Bildschirmbereich verdrängt werden. [PRINERGY-41180]

• Die Ausgabe von digitalen Ausgabejobs kann fehlschlagen, wenn diese von einem mit Digital Direct/Digital Submit verbundenen Gerät zu einem Gerät mit bidirektonaler JDF-Konnektivität verschoben werden. [PRINERGY-44863]

• Ein Problem mit dem Statusbericht von Kodak Xpo kann dazu führen, dass die Warteschlange „In Bearbeitung“ in der Device Track-Benutzeroberfläche von Prinergy und in Xpo nicht mehr synchron ist und die Ausgabe von Farbauszügen in der falschen Reihenfolge in Device Track anzeigt. [PRINERGY-47843] 

• Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss der Ausgabe an digitale Eingabesysteme von EFI oder Canon fehlen die abgeschlossenen Ausgabeaufträge in allen Warteschlangen in Device Track. [PRINERGY-47923] [PRINERGY-43780] 

• In einigen älteren Versionen der Software EFI Fiery war die Anzahl der gemeldeten Tinten auf fünf begrenzt. Dies führte dazu, dass Jobs mit mehr als fünf Farben fälschlicherweise ihre Farbberichte an die Device Track-Benutzeroberfläche von Prinergy auf fünf Farben beschränkten. [PRINERGY-46698]

• Wird ein Auszug über Device Track erneut gesendet, wird dem Auszug eine neue Job-ID von der Gerätesteuerungssoftware (Xpo oder Print Console) zugewiesen. Der Auszug wird also als eine neue Ausgabeinstanz behandelt und nicht als Neufertigung einer vorherigen Ausgabe.

TIFF Direct CTP-Konnektivität

• Wenn Sie einen Job an Print Console weiterleiten, werden zwei Instanzen des Jobs in der Print Console-Warteschlange angezeigt. Der ursprüngliche Job enthält einen Hinweis, der angibt, dass er von einem Prinergy Workshop-Client entfernt wurde, wird aber in der Liste weiterhin angezeigt. Die zweite Instanz ist der erneut weitergeleitete Job.[PRINERGY-46206]
• Beim Hinzufügen einer neuen Medienkonfiguration, z. B. einer neuen Plattengröße, zu einem CTP-Ausgabegerät gibt es eine Verzögerung von etwa einer Minute zwischen dem Hinzufügen zum Gerät und der Anzeige des neuen Mediums über die neue TIFF-Direktverbindung in der Benutzeroberfläche von Prinergy Workflow. [PRINERGY-46439]
• Beim Hinzufügen oder Entfernen von Stanzeinstellungen auf einem CTP-Gerät wird die Statusänderung Prinergy Workflow nicht mitgeteilt. Wenn Sie eine Stanzung zu einem CTP-Gerät hinzufügen oder davon entfernen, müssen Sie das Gerät vom Prinergy Administrator (UADM) trennen und erneut verbinden, um den Stanzstatus zu aktualisieren. [PRINERGY-46404]
• Das Kontrollkästchen Medium ausschneiden im Abschnitt Gerät der Endausgabe-Prozessvorlage wird von Xpo und Print Console nicht unterstützt und sollte nicht ausgewählt werden.[PRINERGY-46874]
• Die Einstellung Medienregistrierung im Bereich Layout der Endausgabe-Prozessvorlage (Layout > Medien > Medienregistrierung) wird für Print Console nicht unterstützt. Verwenden Sie stattdessen die Stanzeinstellung (Layout > Positionierung > Stanzeinstellung). [PRINERGY-46856]
• Die Liste der Stanzeinstellungen enthält alle verfügbaren Stanzeinstellungen für das ausgewählte Gerät. Wenn Sie eine Stanzeinstellung auswählen, stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie eine Stanzung auswählen, die mit den ausgewählten Medien kompatibel ist.
• Die VMR-Bildgebung (Variable Mainscan Resolution) wird mit Xpo nicht unterstützt. [PRINERGY-47187]
• Die VMR-Bildgebung (Variable Mainscan Resolution) wird mit Print Console nicht unterstützt. [PRINERGY-47338]

• Bei Verwendung einer Kennzeilenmarke mit den aktualisierten Kennzeilenpositionseinstellungen in der Prozessvorlage mit direkter (GDAPI) und TIFF Direct-Konnektivität zu CTP-Geräten kann die Kennzeilenmarke an der falschen Position auf der Platte erscheinen. [PRINERGY-46463] 

CTP-Konnektivität

• Bei Verwendung einer Kennzeilenmarke mit den aktualisierten Kennzeilenpositionseinstellungen in der Prozessvorlage mit direkter (GDAPI) und TIFF Direct-Konnektivität zu CTP-Geräten kann die Kennzeilenmarke an der falschen Position auf der Platte erscheinen. [PRINERGY-46463] 

• Beim Hinzufügen oder Entfernen von Stanzeinstellungen auf einem CTP-Gerät wird die Statusänderung Prinergy Workflow nicht mitgeteilt. Wenn Sie eine Stanze einem CTP-Gerät hinzufügen oder von diesem entfernen, müssen Sie den JTP neu starten und eine neue Prozessvorlage definieren. [PRINERGY-46404]

Einrichtung

• Aufgrund von Beschränkungen bei der JDF-Implementierung von anderen Herstellern werden manche Einstellungen unter Umständen nicht unter „Einrichtung“ übernommen, wenn sie in der Eingabesystem-Software aktualisiert wurden. Dies kann Folgendes betreffen: Bindekante, maximale Dichte, Layout und Bogenformatoptionen. • Bei der Installation des Setups über Microsoft Edge und Google Chrome treten möglicherweise Probleme auf.

• Das Setup kann nicht über Firefox auf Mac OS X 10.12 installiert werden, da Firefox auf Mac OS X 10.12 Microsoft Silverlight nicht unterstützt. Verwenden Sie einen anderen Browser, um das Setup zu installieren und zu starten. [PRINERGY-44565]
• Wenn Sie von einer verbundenen Druckmaschine und/oder einem verbundenen DFE Druckträger importieren oder Gerätefunktionen erneut laden (unter „Einrichten“ > Ausrüstung> Digitales Gerät), während das Gerät nicht verfügbar ist, werden die Einstellungen für die Druckträger und/oder das Gerät im Digital Job Ticket Editor nicht mehr angezeigt, wenn Sie einen Job senden. Wenn das Gerät wieder normal läuft, müssen Sie die Druckträger erneut importieren bzw. die Gerätefunktionen erneut laden, damit sie im digitalen Job Ticket Editor wieder angezeigt werden. [PRINERGY-45261] 
• Das Setup ist aufgrund fehlender Schriftarten auf macOS Sierra (Version 10.12) und macOS High Sierra (Version 10.13) nicht auf Chinesisch und Japanisch auf lokalisiert. [PRINERGY-46365]
  Um dieses Problem zu beheben, installieren Sie die fehlenden Schriftarten:
• 1. MS Gothic.ttf -> für Japanisch
  2. 华文黑体.ttf -> für Chinesisch

Job-Suche

• In Job Finder schlägt in der erweiterten Suchfunktion für Jobs die Verwendung des Operators ist nicht zusammen mit einem numerischen Wert fehl. [PRINERGY-38941]
• Wenn Sie in Job Finder in der erweiterten Suchfunktion für Jobs die Auswahl alle treffen, enthalten die Suchergebnisse Jobs und Pre-Jobs, die den festgelegten Suchkriterien entsprechen. [PRINERGY-39664]

Integration in ColorFlow

Folgende Einschränkungen wurden beim Einsatz der ColorFlow-Software mit Prinergy festgestellt:

• Seiten, die in Prinergy unter Umgehung des Refinings zu einem Job hinzugefügt wurden, der für ColorFlow freigegeben wurde, weisen ein nicht definiertes Farbsetup auf. Dieses Verhalten ist zu erwarten. Für eine ColorFlow-Integration sollte Refining mit ColorConvert aktiviert sein.

• Wenn Sie versuchen, eine Datei mit einer anderen Schnappschuss-Nummer als der in der Refine-Prozessvorlage angegebenen auszugeben, erscheint eine Fehlermeldung.

ColorConvert

Die folgenden ColorConvert-Probleme wurden festgestellt:

• Bei der Farbanpassung bestimmter Dateien mit transparenten Objekten kann es zu erheblichen Veränderungen im Erscheinungsbild kommen. Das Problem tritt nur bei bestimmten Dateien auf und hängt von den verwendeten Transparenzübergangseffekten, der Objektfarbe und dem bei der Farbkonvertierung der Objekte verwendeten DeviceLink- oder ICC-Profil ab. Das Problem entsteht, weil die Farben für jedes Grafik- und Bildobjekt in der Transparenzgruppe separat konvertiert wurde. Beim Erstellen der Farbverläufe in den Zielfarbraum ändert sich das Erscheinungsbild der Objekte.
  Empfehlung: Glätten Sie die PDF-Dateien. Wenn Ihre PDF-Dateien RGB-Daten enthalten, empfiehlt es sich, die Farbumwandlung dieser Daten vor dem Glätten vorzunehmen.
  Hinweis: Das Problem lässt sich auch mit Halbtonproofs nicht vorhersehen, wenn die Farbanpassung an der Endausgabe erfolgt.

• ColorMatch Vector Overprint Handling bestimmter Dateien mit Transparenzgruppen und Überdruckbehandlung kann zu unerwarteten Ergebnissen führen. Die bei der ColorMatcher Vektor-Überdruckbehandlung neu generierten Objekte ruinieren das Erscheinungsbild. Halbtonproofs mit Raster-Überdruckbehandlung sind nicht geeignet, das Problem im Vorhinein zu erkennen, wenn die Vektor-Überdruckbehandlung an der Endausgabe erfolgt. Detaillierte Beschreibungen zu den Unterschieden in der Verarbeitung mit Raster- und Vektor-Überdruckbehandlung finden Sie in der Prinergy-Hilfe.
  Empfehlung: Glätten Sie die PDF-Dateien. Wenn Ihre PDF-Dateien RGB-Daten enthalten, empfiehlt es sich, die Farbumwandlung dieser Daten vor dem Glätten vorzunehmen. 

• Der RGB-Mischfarbraum wird nicht unterstützt. Mischfarbräume sollten nur als DeviceCMYK definiert werden.
  Empfehlung: Ändern Sie den Mischfarbraum in der Eingabedatei, oder richten Sie ein Preflight+-Profil ein, um den Zustand zu ermitteln und/oder zu beheben.

• ColorConvert wird in Vektorausgabe-Prozessvorlagen automatisch ausgewählt, wenn Sie auf Prinergy 8.1 aktualisieren. Dies geschieht aufgrund eines Migrationsskriptfehlers. Wenn Sie über eine einfache Lizenz verfügen, bei der ColorConvert nicht aktiviert ist, schlägt die Vektorausgabe fehl. Wenn Sie über eine Lizenz für Advanced Color Management verfügen, wird die Farbkonvertierung bei der Ausgabe angewendet, was zu falschen Ausgaben führen kann. [PRINERGY-42167]
  Umgehungsmöglichkeit: Öffnen Sie eine beliebige Vektorausgabe-Prozessvorlage, in der ColorConvert nicht aktiviert ist, und deaktivieren Sie das Kontrollkästchen ColorConvert.

Preflight+-

• callas-Prozesspläne und -Profile, die Ebenen erstellen oder nicht lizenzierte DeviceLinks enthalten, werden nicht unterstützt.

• Kodak bietet keine Unterstützung oder Lizenzen für die pdfToolbox von callas software an. Es wird jedoch eine Kopie von pdfToolbox (Preflight+ Profile Manager) bereitgestellt und lizenziert – ausschließlich zur Bearbeitung und Erstellung von Preflight-Profilen, die in Prinergy verwendet werden. Änderungen der Lizenz sowie Änderungen oder Aktualisierungen der mit Prinergy bereitgestellten Version von callas pdfToolbox werden von Kodak weder empfohlen noch unterstützt. Kodak bietet keine Hilfe oder Unterstützung für die Bearbeitung oder Erstellung neuer callas-Profile. Informationen und Unterstützung zum Erstellen und Bearbeiten von Profilen finden Sie unter http://www.callassoftware.com/en/support/documentation.
  Hinweis: Kodak unterstützt Probleme im Zusammenhang mit der Integration von callas Preflight in Prinergy Workshop.

• Übersichtsberichte enthalten Informationen zu allen Seiten in einer mehrseitigen PDF-Eingabedatei. Der Bericht enthält möglicherweise Informationen zu Seiten, die Sie nicht ausgewählt haben.
• Links auf Berichtseiten werden nur unterstützt, wenn Sie den vollständigen Bericht kopieren.

• Fehlerbehebungen von callas unterliegen der "Verwendung auf eigene Gefahr". Gehen Sie besonders vorsichtig vor, und prüfen Sie Ihre Proofs genau bei der Anwendung von Fehlerbehebungen.

• callas-Profile und Prinergy unterstützen unterschiedliche Varianten des chinesischen Zeichensatzes.

  • Vereinfacht = ZH_CN (callas) = VR CHINA

  • Vereinfacht = ZH_Hans (Prinergy) = Südostasien und Singapur

• Mehr Speicherplatz auf der Festplatte erforderlich – jeder PDF-Bericht enthält eine Kopie der ursprünglichen PDF-Eingabedatei.

• Damit Preflight+ sich im Refining-Prozess nicht zu einem Engpass entwickelt, wird empfohlen, dieselbe Anzahl von Preflight+ JTPs und Refine JTPs zu erwerben.
• In den übersetzten Berichten werden die Korrekturnamen in Preflight+ in Englisch oder in der im Betriebssystem festgelegten Sprache angezeigt. Wenn Sie die Preflight+-Berichte in mindestens zwei Sprachen erstellen (in der Administrator-Software: Werkzeuge > System konfigurieren > Preflight+-Einstellungen > Berichtsprache oder im Setup-Menü: Einstellungen > Allgemein >  > Berichtsprache), werden die Namen der vordefinierten Profile und Fehlerbehebungen in den übersetzten Berichten unter Umständen auf Englisch angezeigt und nicht in der festgelegten Sprache. [PRINERGY-38227]
• Die Verwendung von Variablen, die Benutzer zur Eingabe auffordern, wird nicht unterstützt.
• Neue Bibliotheken für das Organisieren von Prüfungen und Anpassungen in Kategorien.
  Hinweis: Profile mit Devicelink, Javascript und Variablen werden nicht unterstützt.

Flattener 

Prinergy 8.2 führt eine neue PDF-Bibliothek 1507 ein, die für die Transparenzreduzierung von PDF-Dateien verantwortlich ist.

Bei der Transparenzreduzierung kann der neue Flattener ICCBased-Bilder erstellen. Wenn Sie Preflight (Advanced oder Basic über Eingabesteuerung normalisieren oder Steuerung der digitalen Originalvorlage) gegen die Erstellung von ICCBased-Bildern einstellen, müssen Sie möglicherweise diese Optionen auf Warnung oder Ignorieren setzen.

Um deutlich erkennbare Farbverschiebungen zu vermeiden, die beim Betrachten von Objekten neben mit Flattener erstellten Objekten auftreten können, empfiehlt es sich, eingebettete Profile im Abschnitt Colormatcher der Refining-Prozessvorlage von gekennzeichnetem Inhalt zu entfernen. Wenn Sie einen zweistufigen Refining-Prozess durchführen, sollten die Profile über die zweite Refining-Prozessvorlage entfernt werden.

Das Kennzeichnen von Bildern als ICCBased könnte für nachgelagerte Prozesse von Vorteil sein. Dies kann jedoch zu kleineren Farbverschiebungen führen, wenn Sie PDF-Dateien in Prinergy Version 8.2 mit PDF-Dateien vergleichen, die in früheren Versionen erstellt wurden. Aus diesem Grund wird empfohlen, nach dem Upgrade auf Prinergy 8.2 nachzuprüfen.

Die Erkennung der Farbdeckung mit Advanced Preflight ist unter Umständen für ICCBased-Bilder nicht korrekt. In der Regel sollten Sie einen zweistufigen Refining-Vorgang durchführen. In einem zweistufigen Refining-Vorgang wird die Erkennung der Farbdeckung wahrscheinlich beim ersten Refining-Prozess vor der Reduzierung durchgeführt, sodass Sie nicht dieser Einschränkung unterliegen.

Adobe PDF Print Engine

Der APPE (Adobe PDF Print Engine) RIP kann keine PDF-Dateien verarbeiten, die eingebettete PostScript-Objekte enthalten. Dazu gehören auch Seiten, die mit PostScript- oder OPI-Umgehungsfunktionen von Prinergy verarbeitet wurden.

Der APPE RIP ist der bevorzugte RIP für Prinergy.

APPE 4.7 bietet Unterstützung für maximal 123 Sonderfarben. Für das Refining der Thumbnail-Erstellung ist der Höchstwert jedoch 47. Die vorherige Begrenzung auf 27 Sonderfarben wurde erhöht.

Beachten Sie folgende Vorsichtsmaßnahmen:

• Nachdrucke: Für Nachdrucke von Jobs, die zuvor mit einem älteren RIP gedruckt wurden, wird empfohlen, die Proofs mit dem neuen RIP erneut zu erzeugen, um sicherzustellen, dass keine unvorhergesehenen Abweichungen zwischen dem ursprünglichen Druck und dem Nachdruck entstehen.

Neue PANTONE+-V3-Bibliotheken

In Übereinstimmung mit den PANTONE-Richtlinien zu Best Practices wurden alle bisherigen PANTONE-Bibliotheken als Werksbibliotheken entfernt und werden nicht mehr in Ihren Prozessvorlagen angezeigt. Bisherige Prinergy-PANTONE-Bibliotheken werden im Archivierungsformat bereitgestellt und können bei Bedarf als Benutzerbibliotheken für das erneute Drucken von älteren Aufträge verwendet werden. Maxtone CX-, Maxtone FX- und Maxtone SX-RIP

Kodak Maxtone CX-, Maxtone FX- und Maxtone SX-Raster sind nur für APPE-RIP verfügbar. Sie sind nicht zur Verwendung mit CPSI-RIP verfügbar.

Systemsonderfarbenbibliothek L*a*b* 2000

Wenn die Systemsonderfarbenbibliothek L*a*b* 2000 einer Refining-Prozessvorlage hinzugefügt wurde, wird sie gegebenenfalls nicht in der Liste mit den Sonderfarbenbibliotheken angezeigt. Sie steht aber für Refining-Prozesse zur Verfügung, die über die Refining-Prozessvorlage erstellt wurden. [PRINERGY-44022]

Refining von PostScript-Dateien, die Farben aus dem L*a*b*-Farbraum enthalten und die zu PDF/X-1 konvertiert werden sollen, schlägt möglicherweise fehl

Aufgrund einer Einschränkung im Umgang mit Farben, die im L*a*b*-Farbraum definiert sind, schlägt der Refining-Prozess während des Optimierens bei der Umwandlung von PostScript Dateien mit L*a*b-Farben zu PDF/X-1a möglicherweise fehl. 
Um dieses Problem zu umgehen, empfehlen wir Ihnen, zunächst alle Farben und Sonderfarben mit alternativem CMYK-Farbraum bei einem Refining-Vorgang zu PDF in CMYK-Farben zu konvertieren, bevor Sie ein zweites Refining für die Konvertierung in PDF/X-1a ausführen. (PRINERGY-43630)

Bei Auswahl der Option zum Ersetzen variabler Marken in PDF-Dateien werden bei einigen Objekten fehlerhafte Überdrucke verursacht 

Bei Verwendung dieser Einstellung müssen Sie die Anweisungen in Partner Place-Antwort-ID 69302 befolgen. Andernfalls kann es zu schwerwiegenden Ausgabeproblemen kommen.

Registrierung einer versionierten Seite schlägt fehl, nachdem die Seite auf einem Mac in Acrobat geöffnet wurde.

Wenn Sie eine LPV-Seite in Acrobat öffnen und sie anschließend erneut erstellen, schlägt der Registrierungsschritt fehl, und es erscheint eine Meldung über eine Zugriffsverletzung. Betriebssysteme Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 und 2012 R2

Die folgenden Einschränkungen wurden beim Ausführen von Prinergy mit den Betriebssystemen Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 und Windows Server 2012 R2 festgestellt:

• Nicht alle älteren Kodak CTP-Geräte (Computer-To-Plate) verfügen über eine Versionssoftware, die mit Windows 2008 R2 oder 2012 R2 kompatibel ist. Fragen Sie Ihre Kodak-Vertretung, ob Ihr CTP-Gerät eine kompatible Versionssoftware enthält.

• Services for Apple Macintosh funktioniert mit Windows Server 2008 R2 oder 2012 R2 nicht. Sie müssen SMB für benannte Zweige verwenden.

• Bei der Aktualisierung eines Windows 2008 R2-Servers wird SMB 2 fälschlicherweise deaktiviert. Dies kann Probleme hinsichtlich der Leistung und Dateikonsistenz verursachen. Wenden Sie sich an Ihren Ansprechpartner vor Ort, damit der Service erneut aktiviert wird.

• Standardmäßig werden Prinergy-Server unter Windows Server 2012 R2 mit SMB 2- und SMB 3-Unterstützung ausgeliefert. Um die beste Leistung zu erzielen, sollte auf allen Prinergy-Servern und Nebenservern Windows Server 2012 R2 installiert sein. Wenn einer der Prinergy-Server unter Windows Server 2008 R2 läuft oder auf einem der Nebenserver Windows Server 2012 R2 nicht installiert ist, müssen SMB 2 und SMB 3 deaktiviert werden, so dass SMB 1 verwendet wird. Windows 2012 R2-Server, die ins Japanische lokalisiert wurden

Das neue Installationsprogramm kann nicht auf Windows 2012 R2-Servern ausgeführt werden, die ins Japanische lokalisiert wurden. Der Server muss ins Englische lokalisiert werden, oder es muss eine andere unterstützte nicht-japanische Lokalisierung verwendet werden, damit das neue Installationsprogramm ausgeführt werden kann. Wenn Digital Submit mit NexPress unter Windows 10 ausgeführt wird, schlägt der Start des Job Ticket Editor in Digital Submit fehl. [PRINERGY-41688]

Problemumgehungen: So starten Sie den NexPress Job Ticket Editor:

• Führen Sie Digital Submit und NexPress Job Ticket Editor auf einer Workstation mit einem anderen Betriebssystem aus.
• Starten Sie den NexPress Job Ticket Editor außerhalb von Digital Submit.

HP Job Ticket Editor kann nicht unter Windows 8 und Windows 10 installiert werden

Der HP Job Ticket Editor ist eine Software von HP, die in Prinergy Workflow für die Verbindung zu Digitaldruckmaschinen von HP verwendet wird. Die neueste Version der von HP zur Verfügung gestellten Software ist nicht mit den Betriebssystemen Windows 8 und Windows 10 kompatibel. HP wurde über dieses Problem in Kenntnis gesetzt und behandelt es in einem zukünftigen Produkt-Update. [PRINERGY-41575]

HP

• Bei Verwendung eines DFE von Hewlett Packard SmartStream, das mit mehreren Druckmaschinen verbunden ist, wird für jede Druckmaschine mit einer Verbindung zum SmartStream-DFE eine Verbindungslizenz von Prinergy Workflow benötigt. Wenn Sie nicht genügend Lizenzen für Verbindungen zu Prinergy Workflow besitzen, kann sich Prinergy nicht mit allen Druckmaschinen verbinden, die über das SmartStream-DFE verbunden sind. [PRINERGY-44364]
• Wenn Sie von einer verbundenen Druckmaschine und/oder einem verbundenen DFE Druckträger importieren oder Gerätefunktionen erneut laden (unter „Einrichten“ > Ausrüstung> Digitales Gerät), während das Gerät nicht verfügbar ist, werden die Einstellungen für die Druckträger und/oder das Gerät im Digital Job Ticket Editor nicht mehr angezeigt, wenn Sie einen Job senden. Wenn das Gerät wieder normal läuft, müssen Sie die Druckträger erneut importieren bzw. die Gerätefunktionen erneut laden, damit sie im digitalen Job Ticket Editor wieder angezeigt werden. • HP DFE mit mehreren angeschlossenen Druckmaschinen erkennt den Prinergy-Server nicht an seinem Namen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Prinergy-Servername auf dem DFE richtig aufgelöst wird. Fügen Sie bei einem DFE unter Windows den Prinergy-Hostnamen und die IP-Adresse in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\host[ hinzu. PRINERGY-45428]

Ricoh 

• Klebebindungsjobs mit Einbänden, die an Ricoh-Digitaleingabesysteme mit PDF RIP Enhanced by Kodak Type S4 gesendet werden, werden unter Umständen mit falscher Ausrichtung ausgegeben. [PRINERGY-42077] 

• Aufgrund von Beschränkungen bei der JDF-Implementierung für Ricoh-Digitaleingabesysteme mit PDF RIP Enhanced by Kodak Type S4 werden Layoutoptionen derzeit nicht unterstützt. [PRINERGY-39050] 

• Wenn eine Oberfläche an ein Ricoh-System gesendet wird, wird die im Job festgelegte Bindekante aufgrund einer Geometrieübersetzung um 90 Grad im Uhrzeigersinn gedreht, aber im Endergebnis erfolgt die Ausgabe an der Druckmaschine korrekt. Wenn Sie Fragen haben, bitten Sie Ihren Kodak-Vertreter um Hilfe. [PRINERGY-42029]

• Erfolgreich gedruckte Jobs werden in Device Track zur Warteschlange „On Hold“ (Im Wartestatus) verschoben statt zur Warteschlange „Completed“ (Abgeschlossen). Dies ist ein bekanntes Problem von Ricoh. [PRINERGY-45100]

Konica Minolta

Der Status der beschichteten oder unbeschichteten Materialien kann möglicherweise bei digitalen Verbindungen zur Eingabesystem-Software für digitale Drucker für Konica Minolta IC-602 oder C1070 nicht ordnungsgemäß in Prinergy Setup importiert oder dargestellt werden. Für Japan lokalisierte Prinergy Workshop-Version

Das Senden einer Datei an Prinergy Workshop in der für Japan lokalisierten Version über Drag-and-Drop in die Prozessvorlage kann zum unerwarteten Beenden von Workshop führen. [PRINERGY-43660] 

Ältere Workspace-Funktionen

Workspace ist eine alternative Job- und Ausschießschnittstelle, die mit Prinergy 6.0 eingeführt und bis Prinergy 7.5 unterstützt wurde. Es verbleiben mehrere Elemente in der Benutzeroberfläche von Prinergy Workflow, die nicht mit den Workshop-Client-Abläufen unterstützt werden, z. B.:

• Die Funktion „Ausschießschema generieren“ in „Regelbasierte Automatisierung“
• „Ausführungslistenzuordnung“ in der Funktion für automatische Seitenzuordnung (APA)
• Gestaltungsereignisse und Aktionen

• Szenario-Aktionen
• Validierungsaktionen
• Ereignis „Szenario zuordnen erfolgreich“

Hinweis: Es wird empfohlen, die Verwendung von nicht unterstützten Aktionen zu vermeiden.

Einschränkungen bei der Prinergy-Standbogenauswahl

Die Prinergy-Standbogenauswahl funktioniert im Preps 5-Modus. Daher gibt es im Zusammenhang mit Preps 6 oder höher eine Reihe von Einschränkungen.

Bearbeiten von Ausschießschemata

• Es ist nicht möglich, Jobs mit Bindungsarten wie „Kommen und Gehen“, „Schneiden und Stapeln“ sowie Mehrfachbindung mit der Standbogenauswahl zu bearbeiten. Beim Versuch, ein Ausschießschema zu bearbeiten, das eine dieser Jobarten verwendet, steht die Option Prinergy-Standbogenauswahl verwenden im Dialogfeld „Ausschießschema bearbeiten“ nicht zur Verfügung. Stattdessen haben Sie die Möglichkeit, Preps über Externe Ausschießanwendung verwenden zu starten.
• Wenn Sie ein „Kommen und Gehen“- oder „Schneiden und Stapeln“-Ausschießschema mit Standbogenauswahl erstellen und anschließend in Preps 6 oder höher bearbeiten, erscheint eine Warnmeldung mit dem Hinweis, dass der Auftrag in einer früheren Version von Preps erstellt wurde. Sie können diese Meldung ignorieren.

Importieren von Ausschießschemata

• Die Standbogenauswahl unterstützt nicht den Import von Preps 6-Aufträgen mit den Bindearten „Kommen und Gehen“ oder „Schneiden und Stapeln“. Wenn Sie beim Erstellen eines neuen Ausschießschemas die Option Vorhandenen Preps-Job verwenden wählen und einen Preps 6-Job mit der Bindungsart „Kommen und Gehen“ oder „Schneiden und Stapeln“ auswählen, wird eine Fehlermeldung ausgegeben. Sie können eine andere Job-Datei auswählen oder das Ausschießschema mit einer externen Ausschieß-Software erstellen.

Erstellen von Ausschießschemata

• Wenn Sie ein neues Ausschießschema erstellen, sind die Bindungsarten „Kommen und Gehen“ oder „Schneiden und Stapeln“ nur im Preps 5-Modus verfügbar.
• In Preps 5 und 6 werden „Kommen und Gehen“- und „Schneiden und Stapeln“-Jobs unterschiedlich angezeigt. In Preps 6 werden „Schneiden und Stapeln“-Jobs in mehreren Bahnen und „Kommen und Gehen“-Jobs in mehreren Sektionen angezeigt. In Prinergy Workshop werden solche Jobs im Preps 6-Format angezeigt, während sie in der Standbogenauswahl im Preps 5-Format erscheinen. Dies ist nur ein Anzeigeunterschied. Die Seitenzuordnung ist richtig, und das Ausschießschema wird korrekt gedruckt.

Automatische Anwahl in der Prinergy-Standbogenauswahl

Dashboard

Falls diese Einstellung nicht vorgenommen wird, kann dies Probleme hinsichtlich Leistung und Dateizugriff/-übertragung verursachen. Wenn Sie Hilfe bei der Deaktivierung von SMB 2 und 3 benötigen, wenden Sie sich an Ihren lokalen Support.
In Prinergy 8.1.1 wird SMB 2 unter Windows Server 2008 R2 automatisch deaktiviert.

Hinweise: 

• In einigen Fällen kann SMB 3 Probleme in homogenen Windows 2012 R2-Umgebungen verursachen. In diesem Fall wird im Allgemeinen die Rückkehr zu SMB 1 zum Wiederherstellen der vorherigen Leistung empfohlen.
• Wenn SMB 3 aufgrund der oben genannten Performance- oder Dateikonsistenzprobleme zuvor deaktiviert wurde, muss es nach dem Upgrade auf Prinergy 8.1.1 erneut deaktiviert werden. Wenden Sie sich an Ihren Support vor Ort, nachdem Sie das Upgrade durchgeführt haben, um SMB 3 wieder zu deaktivieren.

RBA

Die regelbasierte Automatisierung (RBA) kann nach dem Upgrade auf Prinergy Workflow 8.1.2 nicht gestartet werden. Informationen zur Behebung dieses Problems finden Sie in der Partner Place-Antwort 73601.

Lizenzierung

Beim Zurücksetzen von Prinergy Workflow 8.1.2 auf eine zuvor installierte Version kann der Prinergy-Server möglicherweise nicht automatisch eine Lizenz für die zuvor installierte Version abrufen. In diesen Fällen erhalten Sie eine Benachrichtigung von Prinergy Administrator, dass die aktuelle Lizenz ungültig ist. Windows 2016-Nebenserver

Windows 2016 wird nicht als Job-Stammverzeichnis oder als Nebenserver für Prinergy Workflow unterstützt. Wenn ein Downgrade auf Prinergy 8.1.2 nach dem Upgrade auf 8.2.0 erforderlich ist, können Fehler beim Erstellen von Jobs im heruntergestuften 8.1.2-Server auftreten.

设备跟踪

与 ColorFlow 集成

已确认同时使用 ColorFlow 软件与印能捷时有以下限制：

• 使用印能捷'的绕过精炼添加至支持 Colorflow 的作业的页面将具有未定义的颜色设置。这是预期行为。对于 ColorFlow 集成，建议在启用 ColorConvert 的情况下进行精炼。

• 如果试图使用“精炼”处理模板中定义的快照编号以外的编号来输出文件，将会显示错误消息。

ColorConvert

已确认以下 ColorConvert 问题：

• 对包括透明对象的特定文件进行颜色匹配可能导致外观发生重大变化。该问题特定于文件，具体取决于应用的透明混合、对象'的颜色和用来为相关对象进行颜色转换的 DeviceLink 或 ICC 描述文件。出现这种问题的原因是，系统会对在透明组中使用的每个图形和图像对象进行单独的颜色转换。目标颜色空间中对象的混合会更改外观。
  建议：合并 PDF 文件。如果 PDF 文件包含 RGB 数据，强烈建议对此数据进行颜色转换后再合并。
  注意：连续调打样无法用于预测最终输出上执行颜色匹配处理会发生的问题。

• 对于含有同样使用叠印管理的透明组的文件，进行颜色匹配矢量叠印处理可能生成意外结果。ColorMatcher 矢量叠印处理印刷色生成的新对象外观不美观。使用光栅叠印处理的连续调打样无法用于预测最终输出上使用的矢量叠印处理会发生的问题。有关处理光栅和矢量叠印处理之间的差异的详细说明，请参阅印能捷帮助。
  建议：合并 PDF 文件。如果 PDF 文件包含 RGB 数据，强烈建议对此数据进行颜色转换后再合并。 

• RGB 透明度混合颜色空间不受支持。混合空间仅应被定义为 DeviceCMYK。
  建议：更改输入文件中的混合空间或设置 Preflight+ 配置文件以检测和/或修复该状况。

• 升级到印能捷 8.1 后，将在矢量输出处理模板中自动选择 ColorConvert。这是由于迁移脚本缺陷所造成的。如果您持有不启用 ColorConvert 的基本许可证，矢量输出将失败。如果您获取高级颜色管理许可，将在输出时应用颜色转换，可能会导致输出错误。[PRINERGY-42167]
  变通方法：打开不应启用 ColorConvert 的任意矢量输出处理模板并清除 ColorConvert 复选框。

Preflight+

• 不支持创建层或包含未获许可的 DeviceLinks 的 Callas 处理方案和描述文件。

• Kodak 不支持也不提供 Callas pdfToolbox 软件的许可证。但是，提供了 pdfToolbox（Preflight+ 描述文件管理器）的副本并仅许可用于编辑和创建要在印能捷中使用的预检描述文件。Kodak 不建议也不支持修改许可以及更改或升级印能捷随附的 Callas pdfToolbox 版本。Kodak 不提供编辑或创建新 Callas 描述文件的帮助或支持。有关创建和编辑描述文件的信息和支持，请转至 http://www.callassoftware.com/en/support/documentation。
  注意：Kodak 不支持印能捷 Workshop 中与 Callas 预检集成相关的问题。

• 概述报告包含多页 PDF 输入文件中所有页面的信息。当您打开报告时，其中可能包含有关您未选定页面的信息。
• 仅在复制整个报告时才支持报告页面链接。

• 使用 Callas 修复程序"风险自担"。应用修复程序时务必谨慎，并仔细检查您的打样。

• 新库适用于将检查和修复整理分类。
  注意：不支持带有 Devicelink、Javascript 和变量的配置文件。

合并图层 

印能捷 8.2 引入全新 PDF 库 1507，负责为 PDF 文件合并图层。

扁平化透明度时，新合并图层会创建基于 ICC 的图像。如果您将 Preflight 设置（通过规范输入控制或优化器印刷文件控制设置高级或基本）为无法生成基于 ICC 的图像，您则需要设置这些选项，以警告或忽略。

为了避免在查看与合并图层创建的对象相邻的对象时出现更明显的偏色情况，建议通过精炼处理模板的配色器部分剥离标记内容中的嵌入配置文件。如果通过两个步骤进行精炼，则应通过第二个精炼处理模板剥离配置文件。

标记图像为基于 ICC 的图像有利于下游处理。但是，如果将经过 8.2 版合并图层的 PDF 文件与经过之前版本创建的 PDF 文件相比较，会发现可能会导致小的颜色转变。因此，推荐在升级至 8.2 版本后再进行比较。

通过高级 Preflight 进行油墨覆盖率检测，对于基于 ICC 的图像来说可能并不精确。通常，如果您进行合并图层，应执行两个精炼步骤。在两步的精炼中，检测油墨覆盖率应在合并图层前的精炼第一步中执行，这样您就不会受限于此限制。

Adobe PDF Print Engine

Adobe PDF Print Engine (APPE) RIP 不能处理包含嵌入的 PostScript 对象的 PDF 文件，包括用 PostScript 旁路或印能捷的 OPI 旁路功能处理的页面。

APPE RIP 是印能捷的首选 RIP。

APPE 4.7 增加了最多 123 种专色的支持。但是，对于精炼缩略图创建而言，最多为 47 种专色。先前的最大值上限为 27 种专色。

遵守以下预防措施：

• 打样和印版：使用 APPE RIP 进行的印版作业中，注意用以前的 APPE RIP 打样的作业的印版。由于 RIP 不同，打样和印版之间的解释有可能不同，但这种可能性很小。理想情况下，应使用生成打样所用的印能捷版本对作业制版。
  注意：为了避免出现这种情况，当升级到印能捷时，应对 hub and spoke 配置进行协调。

• 重印：用较早的 RIP 重印先前印刷的作业时，建议用新的 RIP 重新运行打样，确保原始印刷运行和重印之间没有不可预见的差别。

新版 PANTONE+ V3 库

根据 PANTONE 最佳实践指南，所有先前的 PANTONE 库已作为出厂库删除，将不再显示在您的流程模板中。先前的印能捷 PANTONE 库以归档格式提供，可作为用户库导入，需要时可用于传统的重新打印作业。有关更多详细信息，请参阅关于 PANTONE 库。

Maxtone CX、Maxtone FX 和 Maxtone SX RIP

Kodak Maxtone CX、Maxtone FX 和 Maxtone SX 加网只能用于 APPE RIP。不可用于 CPSI RIP。

系统专色库 L*a*b* 2000

将系统专色库 L*a*b* 2000 添加到精炼处理模板时，它可能不会显示在专色库列表中，但可用于根据精炼处理模板创建的精炼处理。[PRINERGY-44022]

转换为 PDF/X-1a 的 PostScript 文件（包含 L*a*b* 颜色空间中所定义的颜色）可能无法成功进行精炼

由于处理 L*a*b* 颜色空间中所定义的颜色存在局限性，将包含 L*a*b 颜色的 PostScript 文件转换为 PDF/X-1a 时，精炼处理可能会导致 Optimizer 的步骤出现故障。
作为变通方法，我们建议您在一次精炼中先使用 CMYK 备用颜色空间将所有颜色转换为 CMYK 和专色，然后再执行二次精炼，以转换为 PDF/X-1a。(PRINERGY-43630)

选择“替换 PDF 内容文件中的可变标记”会导致一些对象叠印错误 

使用此设置时，您必须遵循 Partner Place Answer ID 69302 中规定的程序。未遵循流程可能会导致严重的输出问题。

在 Mac 上用 Acrobat 打开带版本页面时，页面注册失败

如果您在 Acrobat 中打开 LPV 页面，然后重新生成页面，则注册步骤将失败，并显示一条有关访问违规的消息。只有在使用 Windows 2008 服务器并且已在 Mac 上打开 PDF 时，才会发生这种情况。[PRINERGY-29349]

变通方法：卸载 Mac 共享。

具有非常大的笔画的文本对象中的斜接可能无法正确输出转化低分辨率的输出 (300 dpi)。[PRINERGY-38023]

Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 和 2012 R2 操作系统

使用 Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 或 Windows Server 2012 R2 操作系统运行印能捷时已确认有如下限制：

• 并非所有旧 Kodak 计算机直接制版 (CTP) 设备都具有与 Windows 2008 R2 或 2012 R2 兼容的受控版本软件。请与 Kodak 代表联系，确认 CTP 设备是否具有兼容的受控版本软件。

• Apple Macintosh 服务不适合 Windows Server 2008 R2 或 2012 R2。您必须使用带有指定分叉的 SMB。

• 升级 Windows 2008 R2 服务器后，SMB 2 将错误启用，可能会导致性能和文件一致性问题。请联系您的当地支持代表，以便再次将其禁用。

• 运行 Windows Server 2012 R2 的印能捷服务器默认启用 SMB 2 和 3。为获得最佳性能，所有印能捷服务器和三级服务器均应运行 Windows Server 2012 R2。如果任何印能捷服务器运行 Windows Server 2008 R2，或任何三级服务器未运行 Windows Server 2012 R2，则需要禁用 SMB 2 和 3 以便使用 SMB 1。如果未执行此操作，则会导致性能和文件一致性问题。有关禁用 SMB 2 和 3 方面的帮助，请联系您当地的支持代表。

Symantec Anti-virus 可能会阻止印能捷启动

Symantec Anti-Virus 的某些更新会与印能捷的 ARAXI 服务集成为一种威胁。此问题已在 Symantec Anti-Virus 的较近更新中得到解决。我们建议您更新病毒定义，以避免 Symantec Anti-Virus 出现任何影响印能捷工作流程系统操作的问题。或者，要从威胁列表中排除 araxi.exe，请参阅 Partner Place 答案 ID：72379。[PRINERGY-39813]

网络文件系统连接

印能捷不支持开放组 UNIX NFS（开放组 UNIX 网络文件系统）。可以使用服务器上安装的 SMB/CIFS 协议（例如 SAMBA）访问 UNIX 服务器。

本地化为日语的 Windows 2012 R2 服务器

新的安装程序不会在本地化为日语的 Windows 2012 R2 服务器上运行。新的安装程序运行之前，该服务器必须本地化为英语，或其他受支持的非日语本地化语言。然后，服务器可以返回日语本地化。[PRINERGY-42036] 

XMP 加网标记 

印能捷 8.2 中 XMP 加网标记的当前实施应用于输出的一组完整 XMP 加网设置。(PRINERGY-43209)

NexPress 任务编辑器无法通过 Windows 10 上的 Digital Submit 启动。

在 Windows 10 上利用 NexPress 运行 Digital Submit 时，Digital Submit 中的任务编辑器无法启动。[PRINERGY-41688]

变通方法：要启动 NexPress 任务编辑器：

• 请在具有不同操作系统的工作站上运行 Digital Submit 和 NexPress 任务编辑器
• 在 Digital Submit 之外启动 NexPress 任务编辑器。

无法在 Windows 8 和 Windows 10 上安装 HP 任务编辑器

HP 任务编辑器是一款 HP 公司提供的软件，当连接至 HP 数码印刷机时用于印能捷工作流程。HP 提供的最新软件版本与 Windows 8 和 Windows 10 操作系统不兼容。HP 已意识到此问题，会在未来的产品更新中进行解决。[PRINERGY-41575]

HP

• 使用连接到多个印刷机的 Hewlett Packard SmartStream DFE 时，每个连接到 SmartStream DFE 的印刷机都将使用一个来自印能捷工作流程的连接许可证。如果连接 SmartStream DFE 的印刷机多于您在印能捷工作流程中所拥有的连接许可证，则印能捷无法连接所有连接至 SmartStream DFE 的印刷机。[PRINERGY-44364]

Konica Minolta

涂层或无涂层纸张的状态可能无法正确导入或反映在印能捷设置中，以便实现与 Konica Minolta IC-602 或 C1070 数字印刷机前端软件的数字连接。可能需要在 Konica Minolta 软件中手动更新作业设置，才能成功完成输出。[PRINERGY-43211]

EFI

• 由于 EFI 软件双向通讯存在局限性，已完成的作业不会显示在印能捷工作流程的设备跟踪已完成队列中，且在完成后不会出现在任何队列中。[PRINERGY-43780]
• 由于 EFI 的双向连接问题，印能捷设备跟踪显示错误的油墨数量。[PRINERGY-46698]
• 由于未知的 EFI 传统 JDF 连接处理，作业不可直接打印，但可先置于挂起队列中。[PRINERGY-46646]

本地化为日语的印能捷工作流程

以拖放到流程模板的方式向本地化为日语的印能捷 Workshop 添加文件，可能会导致 Workshop 异常退出。[PRINERGY-43660] 

传统的工作区功能

工作区是引入印能捷 6.0 的一个替代作业和拼版接口，由印能捷 7.5 提供支持。印能捷工作流程用户界面中保留的多个元素不受 Workshop 客户端工作流程的支持，例如：

• 基于规则的自动化中的生成拼版操作
• 自动化页面分配 (APA) 功能中的运行列表分配
• 意图事件和操作
• 运行列表事件
• 情境操作
• 验证操作
• 分配情境成功事件

注意：建议避免使用不受支持的操作。

印能捷帖选择拼版

印能捷书帖选择在 Preps 5 模式下工作。因此，存在若干与使用 Preps 6 或更高版本相关的限制。

编辑拼版

Si en una próxima versión del software se resuelve alguno de los errores mencionados, el error se llevará a la sección de errores resueltos de las notas de la versión que acompañen a la versión del software en cuestión.

Editor de notas de trabajo digital

• En Windows, al utilizar el editor de notas de trabajo digital desde Workshop para editar una nota de trabajo, debería comportarse como una ventana modal, es decir, tendría que evitar interacciones con otros elementos de la interfaz de usuario del cliente Workshop hasta que haya completado su interacción con el editor de notas de trabajo digital. Actualmente, el comportamiento en Windows no es modal y, de manera errónea, permite editar otros elementos del cliente Workshop mientras el editor de notas de trabajo digital sigue abierto. Por consiguiente, se recomienda no hacer nada en Workshop hasta que haya terminado de utilizar el editor de notas de trabajo digital (haciendo clic en Enviar o Cancelar). [PRINERGY-40231]

Seguimiento de dispositivos

• Si se ha realizado con éxito la salida a extremos digitales EFI o Canon, los trabajos de salida completados no aparecen en ninguna cola de Seguimiento de dispositivos. [PRINERGY-47923] [PRINERGY-43780] 

• En algunas versiones anteriores del software EFI Fiery, el número de tintas de las que se informa se limita a cinco. Esto podría producir que los trabajos con más de cinco colores limiten de forma incorrecta su informe de color en la interfaz de usuario de Seguimiento de dispositivos de Prinergy a cinco colores. [PRINERGY-46698]

• Al reenviar una separación a través del Seguimiento de dispositivos, esta recibe un nuevo ID de trabajo por parte del software de control de dispositivos (Xpo o Print Console). Esto se debe a que la separación se trata como una nueva instancia de salida, en lugar de como la repetición de una salida anterior.

Conectividad TIFF Directo de CTP

• Al reenviar un trabajo a Print Console, se mostrarán dos instancias del trabajo en la cola de Print Console. El trabajo original incluirá una nota que indica que un cliente Prinergy Workshop lo ha eliminado, pero aparecerá en la lista de todos modos. Conectividad de CTP

• Al utilizar una marca de línea de información con la configuración de ubicación de la marca de línea de información actualizada en la plantilla de procesos con conectividad directa (GDAPI) y TIFF Directo con dispositivos CTP, la marca de línea de información puede aparecer en una ubicación incorrecta de la plancha. [PRINERGY-46463] 

• Al añadir o eliminar la configuración de perforación en un dispositivo CTP, el cambio de estado no se comunica a Prinergy Workflow. Si añade o elimina una perforación desde un dispositivo CTP, debe reiniciar el JTP y definir una nueva plantilla de procesos. [PRINERGY-46404]

Instalación

• Si trata de importar sustratos o recargar capacidades de dispositivos (en Instalación > Equipo > Dispositivo digital) desde una prensa conectada o DFE mientras este dispositivo está inactivo, los sustratos o la configuración del dispositivo no aparecerán visibles en el editor de notas de trabajo digital al enviar un trabajo. Una vez que el dispositivo esté en marcha, debe volver a importar los sustratos y/o volver a cargar las capacidades del dispositivo para que aparezcan visibles de nuevo en el editor de notas de trabajo digital. [PRINERGY-45261] 
• La configuración no está localizada a chino y japonés en macOS Sierra (versión 10.12) y macOS High Sierra (versión 10.13) porque faltan fuentes. [PRINERGY-46365] 
  Para resolver este problema, instale las fuentes que faltan:
• 1. MS Gothic.ttf -> para japonés
  2. 华文黑体.ttf -> para chino

Búsqueda de trabajos

• En el Buscador de trabajos, en la función de búsqueda avanzada de trabajos, la búsqueda no se realiza correctamente si se utiliza el operador no es con un valor numérico. [PRINERGY-38941]
• En el buscador de trabajos, en la función de búsqueda avanzada de trabajos, si selecciona Cualquiera, los resultados de la búsqueda contienen tanto trabajos como trabajos previos que coincidan con los criterios de búsqueda. [PRINERGY-39664]

Integración con ColorFlow

Se han identificado las siguientes limitaciones al usar el software ColorFlow con Prinergy:

• Las páginas añadidas al trabajo con ColorFlow activado mediante Omitir afinado de Prinergy tendrán una configuración de color sin definir. Este es el comportamiento normal. Se recomienda afinar con ColorConvert habilitado con la integración de ColorFlow.

• Si intenta imprimir un archivo con un número de instantánea diferente al número definido en la plantilla del proceso de afinado, aparece un mensaje de error.

ColorConvert

Se han detectado los siguientes problemas en ColorConvert:

• Algunos archivos de correspondencia cromática con objetos transparentes pueden dar lugar a cambios importantes en el aspecto. El problema es específico del archivo y depende de los modos de mezcla de transparencia aplicados, el color del objeto y el perfil DeviceLink o ICC utilizado para la conversión de color de los objetos. El problema se produce porque los gráficos y los objetos de imágenes utilizados en el grupo de transparencia realizan la conversión de color por separado. La mezcla de objetos en el espacio de color de destino cambia el aspecto.
  Recomendación: Convertir en tintas planas los archivos PDF. Si los archivos PDF contienen datos RGB, es muy aconsejable convertir el color de estos datos antes del acoplamiento.
  Nota: Las pruebas de color de tono continuo no se pueden utilizar para predecir este problema cuando la correspondencia cromática se realiza en la salida final.

• La gestión de la sobreimpresión vectorial de ColorMatch de ciertos archivos con grupos de transparencia que también utilizan la gestión de supervisión puede generar resultados inesperados. Los nuevos objetos generados con el proceso de gestión de la sobreimpresión vectorial Color Matcher terminan estropean el aspecto. Las pruebas de color de tono continuo con gestión de la sobreimpresión rasterizada no se pueden utilizar para predecir el problema con la gestión de la sobreimpresión vectorial utilizada en la impresión final. Consulte la ayuda de Prinergy para obtener descripciones detalladas sobre las diferencias de procesamiento entre la gestión de sobreimpresión rasterizada o vectorial.
  Recomendación: Convertir en tintas planas los archivos PDF. Si los archivos PDF contienen datos RGB, es muy aconsejable convertir el color de estos datos antes del acoplamiento. 

• No se admite el espacio de color de mezcla de transparencias RGB. Fusionar espacios solo debería definirse como DeviceCMYK.
  Recomendación: Cambie el espacio de fusión en el archivo de entrada o configure un perfil de Preflight+ para que detecte o corrija la condición.

• ColorConvert se selecciona de forma automática en las plantillas de procesos de salida vectorial al actualizar a Prinergy 8.1. Esto se debe a un error en el script de migración. Si dispone de una licencia básica que no permite utilizar ColorConvert, la salida vectorial fallará. Si cuenta con una licencia para utilizar Advanced Color Management, se aplicará Color Conversion, lo que podría causar errores en la salida. [PRINERGY-42167]
  Solución: abra cualquier plantilla de procesos de salida vectorial que no deba tener ColorConvert activado y desactive la casilla de verificación ColorConvert.

Preflight+

• No se admiten los perfiles y los planes de procesamiento de callas que crean capas o contienen DeviceLink sin licencia.

• Kodak no proporciona licencias para el software callas pdfToolbox. No obstante, se proporciona una copia y una licencia de pdfToolbox (Preflight+ Profile Manager) con el exclusivo propósito de editar y crear perfiles para su uso en Prinergy. Kodak desaconseja modificar la licencia y cambiar o actualizar la versión de callas pdfToolbox que se proporciona con Prinergy, en cuyos casos no proporcionará soporte. Kodak no proporciona ayuda ni asistencia para editar o crear nuevos perfiles de callas.   Nota: Kodak no presta asistencia para problemas relacionados con la integración de callas preflight en Prinergy Workshop.

• Los informes de descripción general contienen información de todas las páginas de un archivo de entrada PDF de varias páginas. Al abrir el informe, este puede contener información sobre páginas que no ha seleccionado.
• Los enlaces a páginas de informe solo son compatibles si se copia el informe entero.

• Las correcciones callas "se usan por cuenta y riesgo propios". Extreme la precaución y compruebe detenidamente sus pruebas al aplicar correcciones.

• Los perfiles callas y Prinergy son compatibles con distintas variantes del conjunto de caracteres chinos.

  • Simplificado = ZH_CN (callas) = PRC

  • Simplificado = ZH_Hans (Prinergy) = Sudeste Asiático y Singapur

• Mayor demanda de espacio en disco (cada informe en PDF contiene una copia del archivo de entrada PDF original).

• Para evitar que Preflight+ origine un atasco en el proceso de afinado, se recomienda adquirir la misma cantidad de JTP de Preflight+ de que JTP de afinado.
• En los informes traducidos, los nombres de reparación en Preflight+ aparecen en inglés o en el idioma configurado en el sistema operativo. Si eligió generar los informes de Preflight+ en dos o más idiomas (en Administrator: Herramientas > Configurar el sistema > Ajustes de Preflight+ > Idioma de informes, o bien en Configuración: Preferencias > General > Ajustes de Preflight+ > Idioma de informes), los nombres de los perfiles y las correcciones predeterminados podrían aparecer en inglés o en el idioma configurado en el sistema operativo en los informes traducidos en vez de aparecer en el idioma definido. [PRINERGY-38227]
• No se admite el uso de variables que solicitan a los usuarios una entrada.
• Nuevas bibliotecas para la organización de comprobaciones y reparaciones en categorías.
  Nota: Los perfiles con Devicelink, Javascript y variables no son compatibles.

Conversor de colores planos 

Prinergy 8.2 utiliza una nueva versión 1507 de PDF Library responsable del acoplado de archivos PDF.

Al acoplar la transparencia, el nuevo acoplador puede crear imágenes ICCBased. Si ha configurado Preflight (configuración avanzada o básica mediante Normalizar control de entrada o Control del máster digital del Optimizador) para que falle en imágenes ICCBased, es posible que tenga que configurar estas opciones como Aviso o Ignorar.

A fin de evitar los cambios de color más evidentes que podrían producirse al ver objetos adyacentes a objetos creados con el acoplador, se aconseja quitar los perfiles incrustados en el contenido etiquetado a través de la sección Colormatcher de la plantilla de procesos de afinado. Si realiza el proceso de afinado en dos pasos, deber quitar los perfiles a través de la segunda plantilla de procesos de afinado.

Etiquetar imágenes como ICCBased podría resultar útil para los procesos posteriores, aunque puede generar menores cambios de color si se comparan los archivos PDF acoplados en Prinergy 8.2 con los archivos PDF creados en versiones anteriores. Por ello, se recomienda repetir las pruebas tras actualizar a la Prinergy versión 8.2.

La detección de la cobertura de tinta con Preflight avanzado puede no ser exacta en imágenes ICCBased. Por lo general, al realizar el acoplado se deberá llevar a cabo un afinado en dos pasos. En el afinado en dos pasos, es poco probable que se detecte la cobertura de tinta en el primer afinado antes del acoplado, por lo que no debe estar sujeto a esta limitación.

Motor de impresión de Adobe PDF

El RIP Adobe PDF Print Engine (APPE) no puede procesar archivos PDF que incluyan objetos PostScript incrustados, incluidas las páginas que se hayan procesado mediante funciones de omisión de PostScript o mediante funciones de omisión de OPI de Prinergy.

El RIP APPE es el RIP preferido para Prinergy.

APPE 4.7 aporta compatibilidad con un máximo de 123 colores planos. No obstante, para la creación de miniaturas afinadas el número máximo es 47. Este número se ha aumentado desde el límite anterior de 27 colores planos.

Tome las precauciones siguientes:

• Pruebas y planchas: Al exponer trabajos con el RIP APPE, tenga cuidado con las planchas para las que se hayan generado pruebas con la versión anterior de RIP APPE. Al ser diferentes las versiones de RIP, es posible que se produzca una leve diferencia en la interpretación entre la prueba y la plancha. Lo ideal es que las planchas que se usen con los trabajos sean de la misma versión de Prinergy que se usó para generar las pruebas.
  Nota: Para evitar esta situación debe coordinar las configuraciones de centro-radial al actualizar Prinergy.

• Reimpresiones: Para reimprimir un trabajo que ya se imprimió previamente con una versión antigua de RIP, se recomienda volver a realizar las pruebas con el nuevo RIP para garantizar que no haya diferencias imprevistas entre la ejecución original de la prensa y la reimpresión.

Nuevas bibliotecas PANTONE+ V3

En sintonía con las directrices sobre las prácticas recomendadas de PANTONE, todas las bibliotecas anteriores de PANTONE se han eliminado como bibliotecas de fábrica y ya no aparecerán en las plantillas de proceso. Las bibliotecas PANTONE anteriores de Prinergy se proporcionan en formato de archivo y se pueden importar como bibliotecas de usuario, si se desea, para volver a imprimir trabajos originales. RIP de Maxtone CX, Maxtone FX y Maxtone SX

Los tramados Kodak Maxtone CX, Maxtone FX y Maxtone SX están disponibles solo para RIP APPE. No están disponibles para su uso con RIP CPSI.

Biblioteca de colores planos del sistema L*a*b* 2000

Cuando la biblioteca de colores planos del sistema L*a*b* 2000 se añade a una plantilla de procesos de afinado, es posible que no aparezca en la lista de bibliotecas de colores planos, pero estará disponible para utilizarse en procesos de afinado creados a partir de la plantilla de proceso de afinado. [PRINERGY-44022]

El afinado podría fallar en archivos PostScript (que contienen colores definidos en el espacio de color L*a*b*) convertidos en PDF/X-1a

Debido a una limitación en el manejo de color definido en el espacio de color L*a*b*, los procesos de afinado pueden provocar un fallo durante el paso del Optimizador al convertir los archivos PostScript que contienen colores L*a*b en PDF/X-1a. 
Como solución alternativa, recomendamos convertir antes todos los colores en espacio de color alternativo CMYK en un afinado a PDF antes de realizar un segundo afinado para convertir en PDF/X-1a. (PRINERGY-43630)

Si se selecciona “Sustituir las marcas de variables en archivos de contenido PDF”, se generan sobreimpresiones incorrectas en algunos objetos

No se puede registrar una página con versiones una vez que se ha abierto con Acrobat en un Mac

Al abrir una página de LPV en Acrobat y después volver a generarla, se producirá un error en el paso del registro, con un mensaje de infracción de acceso. Esto solo ocurre cuando se trabaja con servidores Windows 2008 y si el PDF se ha abierto en un Mac. [PRINERGY-29349]

Solución: Desmontar el recurso compartido de Mac.

Sistemas operativos Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 y 2012 R2

Se han identificado las siguientes limitaciones al ejecutar Prinergy en los sistemas operativos Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 o Windows Server 2012 R2:

• No todos los dispositivos de equipo a plancha (CTP) heredados de Kodak tienen un software de versión controlada compatible con Windows 2008 R2 o 2012 R2. Póngase en contacto con el representante de Kodak para confirmar si su dispositivo CTP tiene un software de versión controlada compatible disponible.

• Los servicios para Apple Macintosh no funcionan con Windows Server 2008 R2 o 2012 R2. Debe utilizar SMB con bifurcaciones con nombre.

• Después de actualizar a Windows 2008 R2 Server, SMB 2 se habilita incorrectamente, lo que puede causar problemas de coherencia y de rendimiento. Póngase en contacto con el representante del servicio técnico local para deshabilitarlo de nuevo.

• De forma predeterminada, los servidores Prinergy en los que se ejecuta Windows Server 2012 R2 se entregan con SMB 2 y 3 activados. Para obtener un mejor rendimiento, en todos los servidores Prinergy y servidores terciarios debe ejecutarse Windows Server 2012 R2. El problema de seguridad impide iniciar Workshop en Mac OS X 10.8 o versiones posteriores

   Nota: En Mac OS X 10.12, mantenga pulsada la tecla de Opciones (Alt) y en el menú situado al lado del servidor en cuestión, seleccione Run in Safe Mode (Ejecutar en modo seguro).
5. En el mensaje de confirmación que aparece, haga clic en Trust (Confiar).
6. Haga clic en Done (Hecho).
7. Salga de Safari para que los cambios surtan efecto.
8. Vaya a System Preferences (Preferencias del sistema) > Security and Privacy (Seguridad y confidencialidad).
9. Haga clic en la pestaña General, haga clic en el icono de candado situado en la esquina inferior izquierda de la ventana Seguridad y confidencialidad.
10. Introduzca las credenciales de administrador para poder realizar cambios de configuración.

Symantec Antivirus puede evitar que Prinergy se ejecute

Algunas actualizaciones de Symantec AntiVirus interpretan el servicio ARAXI de Prinergy como una amenaza. Este problema se ha solucionado en las actualizaciones más recientes de Symantec AntiVirus. Conectividad del sistema de archivos de red

Prinergy no es compatible con NFS de The Open Group UNIX (Sistema de archivos de red de Open Group UNIX). Es posible acceder a servidores UNIX utilizando un protocolo SMB/CIFS instalado en el servidor (como SAMBA).

Windows 2012 R2 para servidores localizado en japonés

El nuevo instalador no se ejecuta en Windows 2012 R2 para servidores localizado en japonés. El servidor debe estar localizado en inglés, u otro idioma compatible distinto del japonés, antes de ejecutar el nuevo instalador. Etiquetas de trama XMP 

La implementación actual de las etiquetas de trama XMP en Prinergy 8.2 se aplica al conjunto completo de ajustes de configuración de trama XMP para la salida. (PRINERGY-43209)

Digital Submit no puede iniciar el editor de notas de trabajo de NexPress en Windows 10

Cuando se ejecuta Digital Submit con NexPress en Windows 10, el editor de notas de trabajo no se inicia correctamente desde Digital Submit. [PRINERGY-41688]

Soluciones: Para iniciar el editor de notas de trabajo de NexPress:

• Ejecute Digital Submit y el editor de notas de trabajo de NexPress en una estación de trabajo con un sistema operativo diferente
• Inicie manualmente el editor de notas de trabajo de NexPress desde fuera de Digital Submit.

El editor de notas de trabajo de HP no puede instalarse en Windows 8 ni Windows 10

El editor de notas de trabajo de HP es un software de HP que se utiliza en Prinergy Workflow al conectarse a prensas digitales de HP. La última versión del software, disponible desde la página de HP, no es compatible con los sistemas operativos Windows 8 y Windows 10. HP es consciente de este problema y lo solucionará en una futura actualización del producto. [PRINERGY-41575]

HP

• Cuando se utiliza DFE SmartStream de Hewlett Packard conectado a varias prensas, cada prensa conectada a DFE SmartStream consume una licencia de conexión de Prinergy Workflow. Si las prensas conectadas a DFE de SmartStream superan en número a las licencias para conexiones en Prinergy Workflow, Prinergy no podrá conectarse con todas las prensas conectadas a DFE de SmartStream. [PRINERGY-44364]
• Si trata de importar sustratos o recargar capacidades de dispositivos (en Instalación > Equipo > Dispositivo digital) desde una prensa conectada o DFE mientras este dispositivo está inactivo, los sustratos o la configuración del dispositivo no aparecerán visibles en el editor de notas de trabajo digital al enviar un trabajo. Una vez que el dispositivo esté en marcha, debe volver a importar los sustratos y/o volver a cargar las capacidades del dispositivo para que aparezcan visibles de nuevo en el editor de notas de trabajo digital. [PRINERGY-44749]
• Los DFE HP con varias prensas conectadas no reconocen el servidor de Prinergy por su nombre. Asegúrese de que el nombre del servidor de Prinergy esté correctamente resuelto en el DFE. Para un DFE que se ejecute en Windows, añada el nombre del host de Prinergy y la dirección IP en C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\host [PRINERGY-45428]

Ricoh 

• Los trabajos de encuadernación sin cosido con cubiertas que se envían a la interfaz digital de Ricoh con PDF RIP Enhanced by Kodak type S4 pueden generar salidas con una orientación incorrecta. [PRINERGY-42077] 

• Debido a las limitaciones en la implementación de JDF para la interfaz digital de Ricoh con PDF RIP Enhanced by Kodak type S4, actualmente no se admiten las opciones diseño. [PRINERGY-39050] 

• Cuando se envía una superficie a Ricoh, el borde de encuadernación definido en el trabajo se girará 90 grados en el sentido de las agujas del reloj debido a la traducción de la geometría, pero el resultado final de impresión saldrá correctamente. Si tiene alguna pregunta, póngase en contacto con su representante de Kodak para obtener ayuda. [PRINERGY-42029]

• Los trabajos impresos correctamente pasan a la cola On Hold (En espera) en lugar de a la cola Completed (Completado) en Device Track (Seguimiento de dispositivos). Se trata de un problema conocido de Ricoh. [PRINERGY-45100]

Konica Minolta

El estado de existencias con o sin recubrimiento no se puede importar o reflejar correctamente en Instalación de Prinergy en conexiones digitales al software cliente de la impresora digital IC-602 o C1070 de Konica Minolta. Es posible que haya que actualizar manualmente los ajustes del trabajo en el software de Konica Minolta para completar con éxito la salida. [PRINERGY-43211]

EFI

• Debido a una limitación en la comunicación bidireccional con el software de EFI, los trabajos completados no aparecen en la cola Completados del Seguimiento de dispositivos de Prinergy Workflow y no están presentes en ninguna cola tras su finalización. [PRINERGY-43780]
• Debido a un problema de EFI con la conectividad bidireccional, el Seguimiento de dispositivos de Prinergy muestra un número incorrecto de tintas.[PRINERGY-46698]
• Debido a un proceso conocido de EFI con la conectividad JDF heredada, los trabajos no se imprimen directamente, sino que se envían a la cola En espera en primer lugar. [PRINERGY-46646]

Prinergy Workshop se ha localizado al japonés

El envío de un archivo a Prinergy Workshop localizado a japonés mediante la función de arrastrar y soltar en una plantilla de proceso puede hacer que Workshop se cierre de forma inesperada. [PRINERGY-43660] 

Funciones heredadas de Workspace

Workspace es una interfaz de trabajo e imposición alternativa que se introdujo en Prinergy 6.0 y que ha sido compatible hasta Prinergy 7.5. Existen varios elementos que permanecen en la interfaz de usuario de Prinergy Workflow pero no son compatibles con los flujos de trabajo del cliente Workshop, por ejemplo:

• La acción Generar Imposición en Automatización basada en reglas
• La Asignación de conjunto de páginas en la función Automated Page Assignment (APA)
• Eventos y acciones de salidas
• Evento de lista de tiraje
• Acciones de situación
• Acciones de validación
• Evento de situación asignada correcta

Nota: Se recomienda evitar el uso acciones no compatibles.

Limitaciones de selección de pliego de Prinergy

La selección de pliego de Prinergy funciona en Preps 5. Por lo tanto, existen varias limitaciones relacionadas con Preps 6 o posterior.

Modificación de imposiciones

• No es posible editar los trabajos de ida y vuelta, los de cortar y aplicar ni los trabajos con varios estilos de encuadernación con la selección de pliego. Si intenta editar una imposición que utilice alguno de estos estilos, la opción Usar selección de pliegos de Prinergy no estará disponible en el cuadro de diálogo Editar imposición. En su lugar, podrá seleccionar Usar aplicación de imposición externa para iniciar Preps.
• Si crea una imposición de ida y vuelta o de cortar y apilar mediante la selección de pliego y, a continuación, modifica la imposición con Preps 6 o posterior, aparecerá un mensaje de advertencia que indica que el trabajo se ha producido en una versión anterior de Preps. Puede ignorarlo.

Importación de imposiciones

• La selección de pliego no admite la importación de trabajos de Preps 6 con estilos de encuadernación de ida y vuelta ni de cortar y apilar. A la hora de crear una imposición nueva, si selecciona Usar trabajo de Preps existente y selecciona un trabajo de Preps 6 con un estilo de encuadernación de ida y vuelta o de cortar y apilar, se muestra un mensaje de error. Tiene la opción de seleccionar un archivo de trabajo distinto o de usar un software de imposición externo para crear la imposición.

Creación de imposiciones

• Si crea una imposición nueva, los estilos de encuadernación de ida y vuelta y de cortar y apilar solo están disponibles en modo de Preps 5.
• Preps 5 y Preps 6 difieren en la forma de mostrar los trabajos de cortar y apilar y los trabajos de ida y vuelta. En Preps 6, los trabajos de cortar y apilar se muestran como bobinas distintas y los trabajos de ida y vuelta como varias secciones. En Taller Prinergy, estos trabajos se muestran en el formato de Preps 6, mientras que en la selección de pliego, se muestran en el formato de Preps 5. Solo se trata de una diferencia en la forma de mostrar los trabajos. La asignación de página es correcta y la imposición se imprimirá correctamente.

Selección automática en la selección de pliego de Prinergy

El uso de la selección automática en la selección de pliego de Prinergy puede producir resultados diferentes a los de la selección automática de Preps. Compruebe que la selección automática produce los resultados esperados.

En caso necesario, puede utilizar Subir o Bajar para ajustar el orden de los pliegos, o bien usar Añadir o Eliminar para obtener el pliego correcto.
Para evitar el problema, edite los archivos PrepsPrinergy.cfg y PrepsPrinergy.cfg.template incluyendo la línea:
AUTOSELECT_MINIMUM_PAGES:1.

Panel de control

Con independencia del estado activado/desactivado de los distintos campos personalizados, todos los campos personalizados aparecerán en el panel. [PRINERGY-29639]

Limitaciones con SMB 2 y 3 en servidores de Windows en entornos mixtos

De forma predeterminada, los servidores Prinergy en los que se ejecuta Windows Server 2012 R2 se entregan con SMB 2 y 3 activados. Para obtener un mejor rendimiento, en todos los servidores Prinergy y servidores terciarios debe ejecutarse Windows Server 2012 R2. Si en alguno de los servidores Prinergy se ejecuta Windows Server 2008 R2 o en cualquiera de los servidores terciarios no se ejecuta Windows Server 2012 R2, deben desactivarse SMB 2 y 3 para que pueda utilizarse SMB 1. De no ser así, podrían producirse problemas de rendimiento y acceso/transferencia de los archivos. Para obtener ayuda acerca de la desactivación de SMB 2 y 3, póngase en contacto con el representante del servicio técnico local.
En Prinergy 8.1.1, SMB 2 se desactivará automáticamente en Windows Server 2008 R2.

Notas: 

• En algunos casos, SMB 3 puede presentar problemas de rendimiento en entornos homogéneos con Windows 2012 R2. Normalmente, en estos casos volver a SMB 1 ha demostrado ser útil para restaurar el rendimiento anterior.
• Si ya había desactivado SMB 3 por los problemas de rendimiento o coherencia de los archivos anteriores, deberá volver a desactivarlo tras actualizar a Prinergy 8.1.1. Póngase en contacto con el representante del servicio técnico local una vez que haya finalizado la actualización para volver a desactivar SMB 3.

RBA

Es posible que Rules Based Automation (RBA) no se inicie tras actualizar a Prinergy Workflow 8.1.2. Para corregir este problema, si se da, consulte la respuesta 73601 de Partner Place.

Concesión de licencias

Al revertir desde Prinergy Workflow 8.1.2 a una versión instalada previamente, es posible que el servidor de Prinergy no pueda recuperar automáticamente una licencia para dicha versión. En estos casos, recibirá una alerta de Prinergy Administrator que le indicará que la licencia actual no es válida. Si se da este problema, póngase en contacto con la organización del servicio para corregir el problema. [PRINERGY-45926]

Terciarios de Windows 2016

Windows 2016 no se puede utilizar como inicio de trabajo o terciario para Prinergy Workflow. Además, si se configura un servidor de Windows 2016 como inicio de trabajo con un sistema Prinergy Workflow que incluya un servidor de conmutación por error EPM+, cuando el servidor EPM+ se active, no podrá acceder a los trabajos de un inicio de trabajo en un servidor Windows 2016. [PRINERGY-47070]

La creación de trabajos falla tras degradar a la versión 8.1.2 desde la 8.2.0

Si es necesario degradar a Prinergy 8.1.2 tras actualizar a la versión 8.2.0, se pueden producir errores al crear trabajos en el servidor 8.1.2 degradado.

Si se da este problema, póngase en contacto con el representante de servicio Kodak para corregir el problema con el sistema Prinergy. [PRINERGY-46987]

Éditeur de fiches de production numérique

• Sous Windows, lorsque vous utilisez l'Éditeur de fiches de production numérique depuis Workshop pour modifier une fiche de production, il est conçu pour se comporter comme une fenêtre modale, c'est-à-dire pour empêcher les interactions avec d'autres éléments de l'interface utilisateur du client Workshop tant que votre interaction n'est pas terminée dans l'Éditeur de fiches de production numérique. Le comportement actuel sous Windows n'est pas modal et permet de manière incorrecte à d'autres éléments du client Workshop de subir des modifications lorsque l'Éditeur de fiches de production numérique est ouvert. C'est pourquoi nous vous recommandons de ne rien faire d'autre dans Workshop tant que vous n'avez pas terminé d'utiliser l'Éditeur de fiches de production numérique (en cliquant sur Envoyer ou Annuler ). [PRINERGY-40231]

• Lorsque vous utilisez l'Éditeur de fiches de production numérique depuis Workshop (commande Envoyer à Digital) ou lorsque vous ouvrez le Suivi des périphériques depuis le menu Outils de Workshop, l'unité de mesure définie dans les préférences de Workshop est utilisée, et l'unité de grammage ainsi que l'unité d'épaisseur sont définies selon les préférences de l'application Configuration.
  Quand le Suivi des périphériques est ouvert sur le Web (pas depuis Workshop), tous les paramètres des unités de l'Éditeur de fiches de production numérique sont définis selon les préférences de l'application Configuration. [PRINERGY-42049]

• Les paramètres disponibles dans RBA ne sont pas nécessairement applicables à tous les périphériques numériques. Si vous définissez un paramètre qui n'est pas applicable au périphérique sélectionné, ce paramètre sera ignoré lors de l’exécution de la règle.
• L'Éditeur de fiches de production numérique peut uniquement afficher les substrats de la liste déroulante de substrats qui ont des tailles attribuées. Si un utilisateur crée un substrat sur le périphérique numérique qui ne dispose pas d'une taille définie, il ne sera pas envoyé à Prinergy et n'apparaîtra pas dans l'Éditeur de fiches de production numérique de Prinergy. [PRINERGY-46624]
• La liste déroulante des substrats de l'Éditeur de fiches de production numérique ne peut pas afficher deux substrats ayant le même nom. Si un utilisateur définit deux substrats avec les mêmes nom et taille, seul l'un seul d'eux apparaîtra dans l'Éditeur de fiches de production numérique. [PRINERGY-46624]

Suivi des périphériques

• Afin que le Suivi des périphériques fonctionne correctement avec Internet Explorer 11, le paramètre Afficher les sites intranet dans Affichage de compatibilité doit être désactivé. Ce paramètre est activé par défaut.
  Pour modifier le paramètre Affichage de compatibilité, dans Internet Explorer, depuis le menu Outils, sélectionnez Paramètres d'affichage de compatibilité et, dans la boîte de dialogue Paramètres d'affichage de compatibilité, décochez la case Afficher les sites intranet dans Affichage de compatibilité puis cliquez sur Fermer pour appliquer la modification. [PRINERGY-41259]
• Sous Internet Explorer 11, lorsque vous utilisez le bouton Actualiser dans le navigateur pour actualiser le Suivi des périphériques, il arrive parfois que les données affichées soient les données enregistrées dans son cache et pas les données du serveur.

• Lorsque vous utilisez Internet Explorer avec le Suivi des périphériques, ce dernier nécessite la version 11 ou ultérieure. [PRINERGY-41757]

• Redimensionner les colonnes dans le Suivi des périphériques peut faire sortir des colonnes en dehors de l'écran. [PRINERGY-41180]

• La sortie des productions numériques peut échouer si elles sont déplacées d’un périphérique connecté Digital-Direct/Digital-Submit vers un périphérique connecté JDF bidirectionnel. [PRINERGY-44863]

• Un problème au niveau des rapports d'état provenant de Kodak Xpo peut entraîner une désynchronisation des files d'attente En cours de traitement dans l'interface utilisateur Suivi des périphériques de Prinergy et dans Xpo, ainsi que l'affichage de la séparation de sortie dans le mauvais ordre dans Suivi des périphériques. [PRINERGY-47843] 

• Une fois la sortie achevée vers les frontaux numériques EFI ou Canon, les travaux de sortie terminés sont manquants dans toutes les files d'attente dans Suivi des périphériques. [PRINERGY-47923] [PRINERGY-43780] 

• Dans certaines anciennes versions du logiciel EFI Fiery, le nombre d'encres affichées était limité à cinq. Pour cette raison, les travaux avec plus de cinq couleurs limitaient, de manière incorrecte, à cinq couleurs leurs rapports sur les couleurs envoyés à l'interface utilisateur Suivi des périphériques de Prinergy. [PRINERGY-46698]

• Lorsque vous soumettez à nouveau une sélection via le Suivi des périphériques, le logiciel de contrôle de périphérique (Xpo ou Print Console) attribue un nouvel ID de travail à la sélection, car celle-ci est traitée comme une nouvelle instance de sortie plutôt que comme une nouvelle version de la sortie précédente.

Connectivité CTP TIFF Direct

• Lorsque vous renvoyez un travail à imprimer à Print Console, deux instances du travail apparaissent dans la file d'attente de Print Console. Le travail d'origine comprend une note indiquant qu'il a été supprimé par un client Prinergy Workshop, mais il s'affiche toujours dans la liste. La seconde instance est le travail renvoyé.[PRINERGY-46206]
• Lors de l'ajout d'une nouvelle configuration de support (par exemple, une nouvelle taille de plaque) à un périphérique de sortie CTP, il existe un délai d'environ une minute entre l'ajout au périphérique et le moment où les nouveaux médias apparaissent dans l'interface utilisateur de Prinergy Workflow à l'aide de la nouvelle connectivité TIFF Direct. [PRINERGY-46439]
• Lors de l'ajout ou de la suppression de paramètres de perforation sur un périphérique CTP, le changement d'état n'est pas communiqué à Prinergy Workflow. Si vous ajoutez une perforation à un périphérique CTP ou en supprimez une, vous devez déconnecter le périphérique du Prinergy Administrator (UADM) et le reconnecter pour actualiser l'état de perforation. • La case Support prédécoupé dans la section Périphérique du modèle de processus de sortie finale n'est pas prise en charge par Xpo et Print Console et ne doit donc pas être cochée.[PRINEGY-46874]
• Le paramètre Repérage de support dans la section Mise en page du modèle de processus de sortie finale (Mise en page > Support > Repérage de support) n'est pas pris en charge par Print Console. Utilisez le Paramètre de perforation au lieu de la section (Mise en page > Positionnement > Paramètre de perforation). [PRINERGY-46856]
• La liste des Paramètres de perforation contient tous les paramètres de perforation disponibles pour le périphérique sélectionné. Lorsque vous sélectionnez un paramètre de perforation, assurez-vous de sélectionner une perforation qui est compatible avec le support sélectionné.
• L'imagerie VMR (Résolution Mainscan variable) n'est pas prise en charge avec Xpo. [PRINERGY-47187]
• L'imagerie VMR (Résolution Mainscan variable) n'est pas prise en charge avec Print Console. [PRINERGY-47338]

• Lorsque vous utilisez un repère de bande d'informations avec les paramètres de positionnement de repère de bande d'informations mis à jour dans le modèle de processus avec la connectivité directe (GDAPI) et TIFF Direct aux périphériques CTP, le repère de bande d'informations peut apparaître au mauvais endroit sur la plaque. Connectivité CTP

• Lorsque vous utilisez un repère de bande d'informations avec les paramètres de positionnement de repère de bande d'informations mis à jour dans le modèle de processus avec la connectivité directe (GDAPI) et TIFF Direct aux périphériques CTP, le repère de bande d'informations peut apparaître au mauvais endroit sur la plaque. •  Lors de l'ajout ou de la suppression de paramètres de perforation sur un périphérique CTP, le changement d'état n'est pas communiqué à Prinergy Workflow. Si vous ajoutez ou supprimez une perforation d'un périphérique CTP, vous devez redémarrer le JTP et définir un nouveau modèle de processus. [PRINERGY-46404]

Configuration

• En raison des limitations dans l'implémentation JDF tierce, il peut arriver que certains paramètres n'apparaissent pas dans l'application Configuration lorsqu'ils sont mis à jour dans le logiciel frontal. Cela peut inclure les options Bord de reliure, Densité maximale, Mise en page et Taille de feuille. [PRINERGY-39050] [PRINERGY-39982] [PRINERGY-40039] [PRINERGY-40045] [PRINERGY-41511] [PRINERGY-41632] [PRINERGY-41732] [PRINERGY-41745] [PRINERGY-41836] [PRINERGY-41906]

• La configuration peut rencontrer des problèmes en cas d'installation avec Microsoft Edge et Google Chrome.
  Pour installer la Configuration via Microsoft Silverlight avec Microsoft Edge, reportez-vous à l'article de support de Microsoft suivant : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17472/windows-internet-explorer-11-fix-site-display-problems-compatibility-view#ie=ie-11. [PRINERGY-41686]
  Si vous rencontrez des problèmes d'installation via Chrome, utilisez un navigateur différent. [PRINERGY-41032]
• L'installation de la configuration n'est pas possible via Firefox sous Mac OS X 10.12, car Firefox sous Mac OS X 10.12 ne prend pas en charge Microsoft Silverlight. Utilisez un navigateur différent pour installer la configuration et la lancer. [PRINERGY-44565]
• Si vous essayez d'importer des substrats et/ou de recharger les capacités du périphérique (dans Configuration > Équipement > Périphérique numérique) depuis une presse connectée ou un DFE lorsque ce périphérique est hors tension, les substrats et/ou les paramètres de périphérique ne seront plus visibles dans l'Éditeur de ticket de production numérique lorsque vous soumettez un travail. Une fois que le périphérique est allumé et fonctionne, vous devez importer de nouveau les substrats et/ou recharger les capacités de périphérique pour qu'ils soient de nouveau visibles dans l'Éditeur de fiches de production numérique. [PRINERGY-45261] 
• La configuration n'est pas localisée pour le chinois et le japonais sur MacOS Sierra (version 10.12) et MacOS High Sierra (version 10.13) à cause de polices manquantes. [PRINERGY-46365] 
  Pour résoudre ce problème, installez les polices manquantes :
• 1. MS Gothic.ttf -> pour le japonais
  2. 华文黑体.ttf -> pour le chinois

Rechercher des travaux

• Dans l'Explorateur des travaux, avec la fonctionnalité avancée de recherche de travaux, la recherche échoue si vous utilisez l'opérateur n'est pas avec une valeur numérique. [PRINERGY-38941]
• Dans l'Explorateur des travaux, avec la fonctionnalité avancée de recherche de travaux, si vous sélectionnez N'importe quel, les résultats de la recherche contiennent à la fois les travaux et les pré-travaux correspondant aux critères de recherche définis. [PRINERGY-39664]

Intégration avec ColorFlow

Les restrictions suivantes ont été identifiées lors de l'utilisation du logiciel ColorFlow avec Prinergy :

• La définition des couleurs ne sera pas définie sur les pages ajoutées à un travail ColorFlow utilisant le contournement de raffinage Prinergy. Ceci est un comportement normal. Il est recommandé d'activer le raffinage avec ColorConvert pour l'intégration ColorFlow.

• Si vous essayez de produire un fichier avec un numéro d'instantané différent de celui que vous avez défini dans le modèle de processus de raffinage, un message d'erreur apparaît.

ColorConvert

Les problèmes ColorConvert suivants ont été identifiés :

• Le contretypage des couleurs de certains fichiers contenant des objets transparents peut entraîner des modifications significatives de leur apparence. Le problème est propre au fichier et dépend des modes de mélange de transparence appliqués, de la couleur de l'objet et du profil DeviceLink ou ICC utilisé pour la conversion de couleurs des objets. Le problème se produit car les couleurs de chaque objet image et graphique utilisé dans le groupe de transparence sont converties séparément. Le mélange des objets dans l'espace chromatique de destination change l'apparence.
  Recommandation : Aplatissez les fichiers PDF. Si vos fichiers PDF contiennent des données RVB, il est vivement recommandé de convertir les couleurs de ces données avant de procéder à l'aplatissement.
  Remarque : L'impression d'épreuves en ton continu ne peut pas être utilisée pour prédire ce problème lorsque le contretypage des couleurs est effectué sur la sortie finale.

• La gestion vectorielle de la surimpression ColorMatch sur certains fichiers ayant des groupes de transparence qui utilisent également la gestion de la surimpression peut provoquer des résultats inattendus. Les nouveaux objets générés par le processus de gestion vectorielle de la surimpression ColorMatch dégradent l'apparence. L'impression d'épreuves en ton continu avec gestion de la surimpression tramée ne permet pas de prévoir le problème de gestion de la surimpression vectorielle utilisée sur la sortie finale. Consultez l'aide Prinergy pour une description détaillée des différences de traitement entre la gestion de la surimpression tramée et vectorielle.
  Recommandation : Aplatissez les fichiers PDF. Si vos fichiers PDF contiennent des données RVB, il est vivement recommandé de convertir les couleurs de ces données avant de procéder à l'aplatissement. 

• L'espace chromatique de mélange de transparence RVB n'est pas pris en charge. Les espaces de mélange doivent uniquement être définis comme DeviceCMYK.
  Recommandation : Modifiez l'espace de mélange dans le fichier d'entrée ou configurez un profil Preflight+ pour détecter et/ou corriger l'état.

• ColorConvert est sélectionné automatiquement dans les modèles de processus de sortie vectorielle après la mise à niveau vers Prinergy 8.1. Ceci est dû à un bogue du script de migration. Si vous possédez une licence de base qui n'active pas ColorConvert, la sortie vectorielle échouera. Si vous possédez une licence pour la gestion des couleurs avancée, la conversion des couleurs sera appliquée à la sortie et risque d’entraîner une sortie incorrecte. [PRINERGY-42167]
  Solution : ouvrez n'importe quel modèle de processus de sortie vectorielle dont l'option ColorConvert est désactivée et décochez la case ColorConvert.

Preflight+

• Les plans de processus et les profils callas créant des couches ou contenant des modules DeviceLink sans licence ne sont pas pris en charge.

• Kodak ne prend pas en charge et ne fournit pas la licence pour le logiciel callas pdfToolbox. Une copie de pdfToolbox (gestionnaire de profils Preflight+) est toutefois fournie et une licence est proposée uniquement à des fins de modification et de création de profils Preflight destinés à être utilisés dans Prinergy. La modification de la licence et la modification ou la mise à niveau de la version de callas pdfToolbox fournie avec Prinergy ne sont ni recommandées, ni prises en charge par Kodak. Kodak ne fournit pas d'assistance pour la modification ou la création de nouveaux profils callas. Pour obtenir des informations et une assistance sur la création et la modification de profils, rendez-vous sur http://www.callassoftware.com/en/support/documentation.
  Remarque : Kodak ne prend pas en charge les problèmes liés à l'intégration de Callas Preflight dans Prinergy Workshop.

• Les rapports d'aperçu contiennent des renseignements provenant de toutes les pages contenues dans un fichier d'entrée PDF de plusieurs pages. Lorsque vous ouvrez le rapport, il peut contenir des renseignements concernant des pages que vous n'avez pas sélectionnées.
• Les liens vers Report Page sont uniquement pris en charge lorsque vous copiez le rapport entier.

• Les modifications de callas sont effectuées "à vos risques et périls". Nous vous recommandons d'exercer la plus grande prudence et de vérifier vos sources avant d'effectuer une modification.

• Les profils callas et Prinergy prennent en charge diverses variations du jeu de caractères chinois.

  • Simplifié = ZH_CN (callas) = PRC

  • Simplifié = ZH_Hans (Prinergy) = Asie du Sud-Est et Singapour

• Augmentation de l'espace disque requis : chaque rapport PDF contient un exemplaire du fichier PDF source original.

• Pour éviter que Preflight+ ne devienne un goulet d'étranglement dans le processus de raffinage, nous vous conseillons d'acheter le même nombre de JTP Preflight+ que de JTP de raffinage.
• Dans les rapports traduits, les noms de correction dans Preflight+ sont en anglais ou dans la langue définie dans le système d'exploitation. Si vous choisissez de générer les rapports Preflight+ dans deux langues ou plus (dans Administrator : Outils > Configurer système > Paramètres Preflight+ > Langue des rapports ou dans Configuration : Préférences > Général >  > Langue des rapports), les noms des profils prédéfinis et des corrections peuvent être en anglais ou dans la langue définie dans le système d'exploitation, au lieu de la langue définie dans les rapports traduits. [PRINERGY-38227]
• L'utilisation de variables qui invitent les utilisateurs à saisir une entrée n’est pas prise en charge.
• Nouvelles bibliothèques pour l'organisation des vérifications et des corrections en catégories.
  Remarque : Les profils avec Devicelink, Javascript et Variables ne sont pas pris en charge.

Fonction d'aplatissement 

Prinergy 8.2 introduit une nouvelle Bibliothèque PDF 1507 responsable de l'aplatissement des fichiers PDF.

Lors de l'aplatissement de la transparence, la fonction d'aplatissement peut créer des images ICCBased. Si vous réglez Preflight (avancé ou de base via Normaliser le contrôle de l'entrée ou Contrôle du fichier maître de l'optimiseur) de façon à produire un échec sur les images ICCBased, il se peut que vous deviez définir ces options sur Avertir ou Ignorer.

Pour éviter les variations chromatiques plus visibles qui pourraient survenir lorsque vous affichez des objets situés à côté d'objets créés à l'aide de la fonction d'aplatissement, nous vous conseillons d'enlever les profils incorporés sur le contenu balisé dans la section Colormatcher du modèle de processus de raffinage. Si vous exécutez un raffinage en deux étapes, les profils doivent être supprimés à l'aide du deuxième modèle de processus de raffinage.

Le marquage des images comme étant ICCBased pourrait être bénéfique pour les processus en aval, mais cela peut entraîner de légères variations chromatiques si vous comparez des fichiers PDF aplatis dans Prinergy 8.2 à des fichiers PDF créés dans des versions antérieures. Par conséquent, il est recommandé de relancer les épreuves avant la mise à niveau vers la Prinergy version 8.2.

La détection de la couverture d'encrage à l'aide de Preflight avancé peut ne pas être exacte sur des images ICCBased. En général, si vous procédez à un aplatissement, vous devez exécuter un raffinage en deux étapes. Dans un raffinage en deux étapes, la détection de la couverture d'encrage est susceptible de se produire sur le 1er raffinage avant l'aplatissement. Vous ne seriez donc pas soumis à cette restriction.

Adobe PDF Print Engine

Le RIP Adobe PDF Print Engine (APPE) ne peut pas traiter les fichiers PDF contenant des objets PostScript intégrés, notamment les pages traitées avec un contournement PostScript ou avec les fonctions de contournement OPI de Prinergy.

Le RIP APPE est le RIP favori pour Prinergy.

APPE 4.7 permet la prise en charge d'un maximum de 123 couleurs d'accompagnement. Toutefois, pour affiner la création des miniatures, le maximum est de 47. Auparavant, le maximum était de 27 couleurs d'accompagnement.

Précautions à respecter :

• Épreuves et plaques : Dans les travaux sur plaque avec le RIP APPE, soyez vigilant avec les plaques pour lesquelles l'épreuve a été réalisée avec le RIP APPE précédent. Les versions de ces RIP étant différentes, il peut y avoir une légère différence d'interprétation entre l'épreuve et la plaque. La sortie sur plaque des travaux doit normalement s'effectuer avec la même version de Prinergy que celle utilisée pour générer les épreuves.
  Remarque : Pour éviter cette situation, vous devez coordonner les configurations Hub-and-Spoke lors de la mise à niveau de Prinergy.

• Réimpressions : Pour réimprimer des travaux déjà imprimés à l'aide d'une ancienne version du RIP, il est recommandé de sortir de nouvelles épreuves à l'aide de la nouvelle version du RIP afin de vous assurer qu'il n'y a aucune différence entre l'impression originale et la réimpression.

Nouvelles bibliothèques PANTONE+ V3

En accord avec les bonnes pratiques PANTONE, toutes les bibliothèques PANTONE précédentes ont été supprimées comme les bibliothèques par défaut et n'apparaissent plus dans vos modèles de processus. Les bibliothèques PANTONE Prinergy précédentes sont fournies au format d'archive et peuvent être importées en tant que bibliothèques utilisateur, si vous le souhaitez, pour les travaux d’impression hérités. Pour plus d'informations, voir À propos de la bibliothèque PANTONE.

Restrictions pour Maxtone CX, Maxtone FX et Maxtone SX RIP

Les trames Kodak Maxtone CX, Maxtone FX et Maxtone SX sont disponibles pour le RIP APPE uniquement. Elles ne peuvent pas être utilisées avec le RIP CPSI.

Bibliothèque de couleurs d'accompagnement du système L*a*b* 2000

Lorsque la bibliothèque de couleurs d'accompagnement du système L*a*b* 2000 est ajoutée à un modèle de processus de raffinage, elle peut ne pas apparaître dans la liste des bibliothèques de couleurs d'accompagnement, mais elle sera disponible pour être utilisée par le processus de raffinage créé à partir du modèle de processus de raffinage. [PRINERGY-44022]

Le raffinage peut échouer pour les fichiers PostScript (qui contiennent des couleurs définies dans l'espace chromatique L*a*b*) convertis au format PDF/X-1a

En raison d'une limitation dans la gestion des couleurs définies dans l'espace chromatique L*a*b*, les processus de raffinage risquent d'être défaillants au cours de l'étape d'optimisation lors de la conversion des fichiers PostScript contenant des couleurs L*a*b en PDF/X-1a. 
Pour contourner ce problème, nous vous recommandons de commencer par convertir toutes les couleurs en CMJN et en couleurs d'accompagnement dans l'espace chromatique de substitution CMJN pour créer un raffinage PDF avant d'effectuer un second raffinage pour convertir en PDF/X-1a. (PRINERGY-43630)

La sélection de l'option « Remplacer les repères variables dans les fichiers de contenu PDF » entraîne des surimpressions incorrectes sur certains objets. 

Lorsque vous utilisez ce paramètre, suivez la procédure décrite dans la réponse°69302 sur Partner Place, sans quoi de sérieux problèmes d'impression risquent d'apparaître.

L'enregistrement d'une page multiversion échoue après l'ouverture de la page dans Acrobat sur un Mac

Lorsque vous ouvrez une page LPV dans Acrobat et que vous la régénérez, l'étape d'enregistrement échoue avec un message de violation d'accès. Cette erreur se produit uniquement sur les serveurs Windows 2008 et lorsque le fichier PDF est ouvert sur un Mac. [PRINERGY-29349]

Solution : Démontez le partage Mac.

Les JTP de registre supplémentaires configurés pour s'exécuter sur un serveur secondaire sont incorrectement hébergés sur le serveur principal après le redémarrage

Jointures d'onglets dans les objets de texte

Le rendu des jointures d'onglets dans les objets de texte avec de très grands traits peut être incorrect sur une sortie à basse résolution (300 ppp). [PRINERGY-38023]

Systèmes d'exploitation Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 et 2012 R2

Les restrictions suivantes ont été identifiées pour exécuter Prinergy en utilisant les systèmes d'exploitation Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 ou Windows Server 2012 R2 :

• Les périphériques CTP (ordinateur-plaque) existants de Kodak ne disposent pas tous d'un logiciel à version contrôlée compatible avec Windows 2008 R2 ou 2012 R2. Contactez votre représentant Kodak pour vérifier si un logiciel à version contrôlée compatible est disponible pour votre périphérique CTP.

• Services for Apple Macintosh ne fonctionne pas avec Windows Server 2008 R2 ou 2012 R2. Vous devez utiliser le protocole SMB avec des fourchettes nommées.

• Après la mise à niveau d'un serveur Windows 2008 R2, SMB 2 n’est plus correctement activé, ce qui risque d’entraîner des problèmes de performances et de cohérence du fichier. Contactez l'assistance technique pour le désactiver à nouveau.

• Par défaut, les protocoles SMB 2 et 3 sont activés sur tous les serveurs Prinergy exécutant Windows Server 2012 R2. Pour des performances optimales, les serveurs Prinergy et les serveurs tertiaires doivent tous exécuter Windows Server 2012 R2. Si l'un des serveurs Prinergy exécute Windows Server 2008 R2 ou si l'un des serveurs tertiaires n'exécute pas Windows Server 2012 R2, les protocoles SMB 2 et 3 doivent être désactivés pour utiliser le protocole SMB 1. Dans le cas contraire, des problèmes de performances et de cohérence des fichiers peuvent survenir. Pour savoir comment désactiver les protocoles SMB 2 et 3, contactez l'assistance technique.

Des problèmes de sécurité empêchent le démarrage de Workshop sur Mac OS X 10.8 et versions ultérieures.

Pour permettre l'activation de Workshop, procédez comme suit : [PRINERGY-34821]

1. Ouvrez Préférences système.

2. Cliquez sur Sécurité et confidentialité.

3. Cliquez sur l'onglet Général.

4. Cliquez sur l'icône de verrouillage en bas à gauche de la fenêtre Sécurité et confidentialité.

5. Saisissez vos informations d'identification d'administrateur pour activer le changement des paramètres.

6. Sous Autoriser les applications téléchargées de, sélectionnez N'importe où.

7. Fermez Préférences système.

Des problèmes de sécurité empêchent l’installation ou le démarrage de la configuration sur Mac OS X 10.8 et versions ultérieures

Pour permettre l'installation et/ou l'activation de la Configuration, procédez comme suit : [PRINERGY-41785]

1. Dans Safari, accédez à Préférences > Sécurité.
2. Dans la fenêtre Sécurité, cliquez sur Paramètres du plug-in….
3. Dans le volet de gauche, cochez la case Silverlight.
   Une liste de serveurs s'affiche dans le volet de droite.
4. Dans le menu situé en regard du serveur concerné, sélectionnez Exécuter en mode sécurisé.
   Remarque : Dans Mac OS X 10.12, appuyez sur la touche Options (Alt) et maintenez-la enfoncée, puis dans le menu situé en regard du serveur concerné, sélectionnez Exécuter en mode sécurisé.
5. Dans le message de confirmation qui s'affiche, cliquez sur Faire confiance.
6. Cliquez sur Terminé.
7. Quittez Safari afin que les modifications soient prises en compte.
8. Accédez à Préférences système > Sécurité et confidentialité.
9. Dans l’onglet Général, cliquez sur l'icône de verrouillage en bas à gauche de la fenêtre Sécurité et confidentialité.
10. Saisissez vos informations d'identification d'administrateur pour activer le changement des paramètres.
11. Dans le paramètre Autoriser les applications téléchargées, assurez-vous que l'option App Store et développeurs identifiés est sélectionnée.
12. Fermez toutes les fenêtres.

Symantec Anti-Virus peut empêcher le démarrage de Prinergy

Certaines mises à jour de Symantec Anti-Virus considèrent le service ARAXI de Prinergy comme une menace. Ce problème a été résolu dans les dernières mises à jour de Symantec Anti-Virus. Nous vous recommandons de mettre à jour vos définitions de virus pour empêcher que Symantec Anti-Virus affecte le bon fonctionnement de votre système Prinergy Workflow. Sinon, pour exclure araxi.exe de la liste des menaces, consultez l'ID de réponse sur Partner Place : 72379. [PRINERGY-39813]

Connectivité Network File System

Prinergy ne prend pas en charge Open Group UNIX NFS (Open Group UNIX Network File System). Vous pouvez accéder aux serveurs UNIX en utilisant un protocole SMB/CIFS installé sur le serveur (tel que SAMBA).

Serveurs Windows 2012 R2 localisés en japonais

Le programme de réinstallation ne fonctionne pas sur les serveurs Windows 2012 R2 localisés en japonais. Le serveur doit être localisé en anglais, ou dans une autre langue non japonaise, avant d'exécuter le programme de réinstallation. Ensuite, le serveur peut retrouver sa localisation en japonais. [PRINERGY-42036] 

Variables de tramage XMP 

L'application actuelle des variables de tramage XMP dans Prinergy 8.2 applique l'ensemble complet de paramètres de tramage XMP à l'impression. (PRINERGY-43209)

Digital Submit ne peut pas lancer l'Éditeur de fiches de production NexPress sur Windows 10

Lors de l'exécution de Digital Submit avec NexPress sur Windows 10, l'Éditeur de fiches de production échoue au lancement dans Digital Submit. [PRINERGY-41688]

Solutions : Pour lancer l'Éditeur de fiches de production NexPress :

• Exécutez Digital Submit et l'Éditeur de fiches de production NexPress sur un poste de travail doté d'un autre système d'exploitation
• Lancez manuellement l'Éditeur de fiches de production NexPress en dehors de Digital Submit.

Impossible d'installer l'Éditeur de fiches de production HP sur Windows 8 et Windows 10

L'Éditeur de fiches de production HP est un logiciel disponible auprès d'HP qui s'utilise dans Prinergy Workflow lors des connexions aux presses numériques HP. La dernière version du logiciel disponible auprès d'HP n'est pas compatible avec les systèmes d'exploitation Windows 8 et Windows 10. HP connaît ce problème et le résoudra dans une prochaine mise à jour produit. [PRINERGY-41575]

HP

• Lorsque vous utilisez un DFE Hewlett Packard SmartStream connecté à plusieurs presses, chaque presse connectée au DFE SmartStream utilise une licence de connexion de Prinergy Workflow. Si le nombre de presses connectées au DFE SmartStream est supérieur au nombre de licences dont vous disposez pour les connexions à Prinergy Workflow, Prinergy ne sera pas en mesure de se connecter à toutes les presses connectées au DFE SmartStream. [PRINERGY-44364]
• Si vous essayez d'importer des substrats et/ou de recharger les capacités du périphérique (dans Configuration > Équipement > Périphérique numérique) depuis une presse connectée ou un DFE lorsque ce périphérique est hors tension, les substrats et/ou les paramètres de périphérique ne seront plus visibles dans l'Éditeur de ticket de production numérique lorsque vous soumettez un travail. Une fois que le périphérique est allumé et fonctionne, vous devez importer de nouveau les substrats et/ou recharger les capacités de périphérique pour qu'ils soient de nouveau visibles dans l'Éditeur de fiches de production numérique. • HP DFE avec plusieurs presses connectées ne reconnaît pas le serveur Prinergy par son nom. Assurez-vous que le nom de serveur Prinergy est résolu correctement sur le DFE. Pour un DFE exécuté sous Windows, ajoutez le nom d'hôte Prinergy et l'adresse IP dans C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\host [PRINERGY-45428]

Ricoh 

• Les travaux parfaitement reliés avec couvertures envoyés au système frontal numérique Ricoh avec PDF RIP Enhanced by Kodak type S4 peuvent apparaître avec une orientation incorrecte au niveau de la sortie. [PRINERGY-42077] 

• En raison des limitations dans l'implémentation JDF pour le système frontal numérique Ricoh avec PDF RIP Enhanced by Kodak type S4, les options de mise en page ne sont pas prises en charge pour le moment. [PRINERGY-39050] 

• Lors de l'envoi d'une surface à Ricoh, le bord de reliure défini dans le travail pivotera de 90 degrés dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre à cause de la transposition géométrique, mais le résultat final de la sortie sera correct dans l'imprimante. Si vous avez des questions, contactez votre représentant Kodak pour obtenir de l'assistance. [PRINERGY-42029]

• Les travaux imprimés avec succès sont transférés vers la file On Hold (En attente) au lieu de la file Completed (Terminés) dans Device Track (Suivi des périphériques). Il s'agit d'un problème connu de Ricoh. [PRINERGY-45100]

Konica Minolta

L'état du papier couché ou non couché peut ne pas être importé ou se refléter correctement dans la section Configuration de Prinergy pour les connexions numériques au logiciel frontal numérique d’imprimante Konica Minolta IC-602 ou C1070. Anciennes fonctionnalités de Workspace

Workspace est une autre interface d'imposition et de travail introduite dans Prinergy 6.0 et prise en charge jusqu'à Prinergy 7.5. Plusieurs éléments conservés dans l'interface utilisateur de Prinergy Workflow ne sont pas pris en charge avec les flux de production du client Workshop, par exemple :

• L'action Générer une imposition dans Rules Based Automation
• L'Affectation de la liste de tirages dans la fonctionnalité Affection automatique des pages (APA)
• Événements d'intention et d'actions
• Événement Liste des tirages
• Actions de scénario
• Actions de validation

Restrictions de sélection de la signature Prinergy

La Sélection du cahier Prinergy fonctionne en mode Preps 5. De ce fait, il existe un certain nombre de restrictions associées à l'utilisation de Preps 6.

Modifications des impositions

• Il n'est pas possible de modifier les travaux de style va-et-vient, couper-et-empiler, et multi-reliure avec Sélection de la signature. Si vous tentez de modifier une imposition qui utilise l'un de ces styles, l'option Utiliser la Sélection de la signature Prinergy ne sera pas disponible dans la boîte de dialogue Modifier une imposition. À la place, vous pourrez sélectionner Utiliser une application d'imposition externe pour démarrer Preps.
• Si vous créez une imposition de style va-et-vient ou couper-et-empiler en utilisant la Sélection du cahier et si vous modifiez ensuite l'imposition en utilisant Preps 6 ou ultérieur, un message d'avertissement apparaît pour indiquer que le travail a été produit dans une version précédente de Preps. Vous pouvez ignorer ce message.

Importation d'impositions

• La sélection du cahier ne prend pas en charge l'importation des travaux Preps 6 avec les styles de reliure va-et-vient ou couper-et-empiler. Restrictions avec SMB 2 et SMB 3 sur les serveurs Windows dans des environnements mixtes

Par défaut, les protocoles SMB 2 et 3 sont activés sur tous les serveurs Prinergy exécutant Windows Server 2012 R2. Pour des performances optimales, les serveurs Prinergy et les serveurs tertiaires doivent tous exécuter Windows Server 2012 R2. Si l'un des serveurs Prinergy exécute Windows Server 2008 R2 ou si l'un des serveurs tertiaires n'exécute pas Windows Server 2012 R2, les protocoles SMB 2 et 3 doivent être désactivés pour utiliser le protocole SMB 1. Dans le cas contraire, des problèmes de performances et d'accès aux fichiers/de transfert peuvent survenir. Pour obtenir de l'aide pour désactiver les protocoles SMB 2 et 3, contactez l'assistance technique.
Dans Prinergy 8.1.1, SMB 2 sur Windows Server 2008, R2 sera automatiquement désactivé.

Remarques : 

• Dans certains cas, SMB 3 peut poser des problèmes de performances dans des environnements Windows 2012 R2 homogènes. Dans ce cas, le rétablissement du protocole SMB 1 permet généralement de rétablir les performances antérieures.
• Si SMB 3 a été préalablement désactivé en raison des problèmes de performances mentionnés ci-dessus ou d'incohérence des fichiers, il doit être de nouveau désactivé après la mise à niveau vers Prinergy 8.1.1. RBA

Licences

Lorsque vous revenez à une version installée précédemment à Prinergy Workflow 8.1.2, le serveur Prinergy peut être dans l'impossibilité de récupérer automatiquement une licence pour la version précédemment installée. Windows 2016 n'est pas pris en charge comme serveur hôte de travail ou comme serveur tertiaire pour Prinergy Workflow. En outre, si un serveur Windows 2016 est configuré comme serveur hôte de travail avec un système Prinergy Workflow qui inclut un serveur de basculement (EPM+), lorsque le serveur de EPM+ est activé, il ne sera pas en mesure d'accéder aux travaux depuis un serveur hôte de travail sur un serveur Windows 2016. デバイス モニター

• Internet Explorer 11 でデバイス モニターが正常に動作するためには、［イントラネット サイトを互換表示で表示する］設定を無効にする必要があります。この設定はデフォルトで有効になっています。
  互換表示の設定を変更するには、Internet Explorer で、［ツール］メニューの［互換表示設定］を選択し、［互換表示設定］ダイアログ ボックスで［イントラネット サイトを互換表示で表示する］チェック ボックスをオフにし、［閉じる］をクリックして変更を適用します。[PRINERGY-41259]
• Internet Explorer 11 で、ブラウザの更新ボタンを使用してデバイス モニターを更新するときに、サーバーから取得されたデータではなくキャッシュに保存されているデータが表示されることがあります。

• Internet Explorer でデバイス モニターを使用するためには、デバイス モニター バージョン 11 以降が必要です。[PRINERGY-41757]

• デバイス モニターで列のサイズを変更すると、列が画面からはみ出すことがあります。[PRINERGY-41180]

• デジタル出力ジョブが Digital-Direct または Digital-Submit 接続デバイスから JDF 双方向接続デバイスに移動された場合、出力に失敗する場合があります。[PRINERGY-44863]

• Kodak Xpo からのステータス レポートの問題によって、Prinergy のデバイス モニター UI と Xpo の処理中のキューが同期されなくなり、色版出力がデバイス モニターに間違った順序で表示されることがあります。[PRINERGY-47843]

ColorFlow との統合

ColorFlow ソフトウェアの Prinergy での使用に際して、以下の制限事項が確認されています。

• Prinergy の［リファインのバイパス］を使用し、ColorFlow が有効化されているジョブにページを追加すると、そのページからはカラー設定の定義が消失します。これは通常の動作です。ColorFlow が統合された環境では、［カラー変換］を有効にしてリファインすることをお勧めします。

• リファイン プロセス テンプレートで定義した番号とは異なるスナップショット番号でファイルを出力しようとすると、エラー メッセージが表示されます。

カラー変換

カラー変換については、次の問題が確認されています。

• 透明オブジェクトのグループを含むファイルでオーバープリントも設定されている場合、カラー マッチングでベクター オーバープリント処理を実行すると予期しない結果となる場合があります。ColorMatcher のベクター オーバープリント処理プロセスで生成された新しいオブジェクトによって、外観が変わります。ラスター オーバープリント処理で連続諧調プルーフィングを実行しても、最終出力で使用されるベクター オーバープリント処理で発生する問題を予測することはできません。ラスター オーバープリント処理とベクター オーバープリント処理の違いについては、Prinergy のヘルプを参照してください。
  推奨：PDF ファイルをフラット化します。PDF ファイルに RGB データが含まれている場合は、フラット化する前にカラー変換することを強くお勧めします。 

• RGB 透明ブレンド カラー スペースはサポートされていません。ブレンド スペースは、DeviceCMYK としてのみ定義する必要があります。
  推奨：入力ファイルでブレンド スペースを変更するか、この状況を検出または修正するよう Preflight+ プロファイルを設定します。

Preflight+

Prinergy 8.2 では、PDF ファイルをフラット化するための新しい PDF ライブラリ 1507 が導入されています。

透明度をフラット化した場合、新しいフラットナーでは ICCBased 画像が作成されることがあります。ICCBased 画像でエラーになるように Preflight を設定している場合（アドバンス プリフライト、またはプロセス テンプレートのノーマライズ セクションの［入力ファイルコントロール］、またはオプティマイズ セクションの［デジタル マスター コントロール］）、これらのオプションを［警告］または［無視］に設定する必要があります。

アドバンス プリフライトを使用したインキ総使用量の検出は、ICCBased 画像で正確ではない可能性があります。通常、フラット化している場合、2 ステップのリファインを実行する必要があります。2 ステップのリファインでは、インキ総使用量の検出はフラット化する前の 1 回目のリファインで行われる可能性が高いので、この制限の対象にはなりません。

Adobe PDF Print Engine RIP

Adobe PDF Print Engine（APPE）RIP は、埋め込み PostScript オブジェクトが含まれる PDF ファイルを処理できません。これには、Prinergy の PostScript バイパス機能または OPI バイパス機能を使用して処理されたページも含まれます。

Prinergy で推奨される RIP は APPE RIP です。

APPE 4.7 では、最大 123 のスポット カラーのサポートが追加されました。ただし、リファイン時のサムネイル作成の最大値は 47 です。これは、以前の 27 スポット カラーの制限から増加しています。

注意事項：

• プルーフ出力とプレート作成：プレート作成ジョブで APPE RIP を使用するとき、プルーフィングに以前の APPE RIP を使用している場合は注意してください。RIP のバージョンが異なるため、プルーフとプレートの解釈に違いがある場合があります。できる限り、プルーフを作成した Prinergy と同じバージョンを使って、版を作成するようにしてください。
  注意：この状況を回避するには、ハブ＆スポーク環境の構成では Prinergy へのアップグレード時に調整する必要があります。

• 再出力：古いバージョンの RIP を使って以前に出力されたジョブを再出力する場合は、元のプレスランと再出力との間に予期しない差異が発生しないように、新しい RIP を使ってプルーフを再実行することをお勧めします。

新しい PANTONE+ V3 ライブラリ

PANTONE のベスト プラクティス ガイドラインに従って、以前のすべての PANTONE ライブラリはファクトリ ライブラリとして削除され、以降はプロセス テンプレートには表示されません。以前の Prinergy PANTONE ライブラリはアーカイブ形式で提供され、従来の印刷ジョブのために必要な場合にはユーザー ライブラリとしてインポートできます。詳細については、「PANTONE ライブラリについて」を参照してください。

Maxtone CX、Maxtone FX、Maxtone SX RIP

Kodak Maxtone CX、Maxtone FX、および Maxtone SX スクリーンは、APPE RIP でのみ使用できます。CPSI RIP では使用できません。

システム スポット カラー ライブラリ L*a*b* 2000

システム スポット カラー ライブラリ L*a*b* 2000 がリファイン プロセス テンプレートに追加されたとき、スポット カラー ライブラリ リストには表示されないことがありますが、リファイン プロセスでは使用されています。[PRINERGY-44022]

PostScript ファイル（L*a*b* カラー スペースで定義されたカラーを含む）の PDF/X-1a への変換でリファインが失敗することがある

L*a*b* カラー スペースで定義されたカラーの処理に制限があるために、L*a*b カラーを含む PostScript ファイルを PDF/X-1a に変換している際に、リファイン プロセスのオプティマイズ処理で失敗することがあります。
回避策として、PDF にリファインするときに、最初にすべてのカラーを CMYK に変換し、特色は CMYK 代用カラー スペースで変換してから、2 番目のリファインを実行して PDF/X-1a に変換します。(PRINERGY-43630)

［PDF ファイルの可変マークを置き換える］を選択すると、一部のオブジェクトで誤ったオーバープリントが生じる 

この設定を使用する場合は、Partner Place アンサー ID 69302 で説明されている手順に従う必要があります。これを行わないと、重大な出力の問題を招く場合があります。

Macintosh で Acrobat を使用してページを開くと、バージョン ページの登録でエラーが発生する

LPV ページを Acrobat で開いてからページを再生成すると、アクセス違反のメッセージが表示されて、登録エラーが発生します。この問題は、Windows Server 2008 を実行するサーバーで処理する PDF ページを Mac で開いた場合にのみ発生します。[PRINERGY-29349]

対応策：Mac 共有のマウントを解除してください。

セカンダリ サーバーで実行するように設定された追加の Register JTP のホームに、再起動後に誤ってプライマリ サーバーが指定される

テキスト オブジェクトでのマイター結合

非常に大きなストロークが含まれるテキスト オブジェクト内のマイター結合が、低解像度出力（300 dpi）で正しくレンダリングされないことがあります。[PRINERGY-38023]

Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 および 2012 R2 オペレーティング システム

Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 または Windows Server 2012 R2 オペレーティング システムを使用して Prinergy を実行する場合に、以下の制限事項が確認されています。

• 一部の Kodak CTP デバイスには、Windows 2008 R2 または 2012 R2 互換の制御用リリース ソフトウェアがないものもあります。コダック担当者に連絡して、お使いの CTP デバイスに互換の制御用リリース ソフトウェアがあるかどうかを確認してください。

Mac OS X 10.8 以降で、セキュリティの問題により Workshop を起動できない

6. ［ダウンロードしたアプリケーションの実行許可］で［すべてのアプリケーションを許可］を

7. ［システム環境設定］を閉じます。

Mac OS X 10.8 以降で、セキュリティの問題により Setup をインストールまたは起動できない

Setup のインストールやアクティベーションを有効にするには、次の手順を実行します。[PRINERGY-41785]

1. Safari で、［環境設定］>［セキュリティ］に移動します。
2. ［セキュリティ］ウィンドウで、［プラグイン設定…］をクリックします。
3. 左ウィンドウ枠で、［Silverlight］チェックボックスをオンにします。
   右ウィンドウ枠に、サーバーのリストが表示されます。
4. 関連するサーバーの横にあるメニューで、［安全なモードで実行］を選択します。
   注意：Mac OS X 10.12 では、Option （Alt）キーを押したまま、関連するサーバーの横にあるメニューで［安全なモードで実行］を選択します。
5. 確認のメッセージが表示されたら、［信頼］をクリックします。
6. ［完了］をクリックします。
7. 変更を有効にするため、Safari を終了します。
8. ［システム環境設定］>［セキュリティとプライバシー］に移動します。
9. ［全般］タブで、［セキュリティとプライバシー］ウィンドウの左下にあるカギのアイコンをクリックします。
10. 管理者の認証情報を入力して、設定の変更を有効にします。
11. ［ダウンロードしたアプリケーションの実行許可］設定で、［App Store と確認済みの開発元からのアプリケーションを許可］オプションが選択されていることを確認します。
12. すべてのウィンドウを閉じます。

Symantec Anti-virus のために Prinergy を起動できないことがある

Symantec Anti-Virus の一部の更新で、Prinergy の ARAXI サービスが脅威と解釈されます。これは、Symantec Anti-Virus の新しい更新で解決されています。Prinergy Workflow システムの動作に影響する Symantec Anti-Virus の問題を回避するためには、ウイルス定義を更新することお勧めします。または、脅威リストから araxi.exe を除外するには、Partner Place アンサー ID：72379 を参照してください。[PRINERGY-39813]

ネットワーク ファイル システムの接続

Prinergy は、Open Group UNIX NFS（Open Group UNIX ネットワーク ファイル システム）をサポートしていません。サーバーにインストールされた SMB／CIFS プロトコル（SAMBA など）を使用して UNIX サーバーにアクセスできます。

日本語にローカライズされた Windows 2012 R2 サーバー

新しいインストーラは、日本語にローカライズされた Windows 2012 R2 サーバー上では実行されません。新しいインストーラを実行する前に、サーバーを英語または日本語以外の他のサポートされている言語にローカライズする必要があります。その後で、サーバーを日本語のローカライズに戻すことができます。[PRINERGY-42036] 

XMP スクリーニング タグ 

Prinergy 8.2 における現在の XMP スクリーニング タグの実装では、全セットの XMP スクリーニング設定が出力に適用されます。(PRINERGY-43209)

Windows 10 上で Digital Submit により NexPress ジョブ チケット エディタを起動できない

Digital Submit と NexPress を Windows 10 上で実行している場合に、Digital Submit のジョブ チケット エディタを起動できません。[PRINERGY-41688]

対応策：NexPress ジョブ チケット エディタを起動するには

• Digital Submit と NexPress ジョブ チケット エディタを、異なるオペレーティング システムが搭載されているワークステーションで実行します。
• NexPress ジョブ チケット エディタを Digital Submit の外部で手動で実行します。

Windows 8 および Windows 10 で HP ジョブ チケット エディタをインストールできない

HP ジョブ チケット エディタは HP が提供するソフトウェアで、HP デジタル印刷機に接続するときに Prinergy Workflow で使用します。HP が提供する最新バージョンのソフトウェアは、Windows 8 および Windows 10 オペレーティング システムと互換性がありません。HP は、この問題を認識しており、将来の製品の更新で解決する予定です。[PRINERGY-41575]

HP

• 複数の印刷機に接続している Hewlett Packard SmartStream DFE を使用しているとき、SmartStream DFE に接続しているそれぞれの印刷機が Prinergy Workflow から接続ライセンスを消費します。Prinergy Workflow で取得している接続ライセンス数より多くの印刷機を SmartStream DFE に接続すると、Prinergy は SmartStream DFE に接続しているすべての印刷機に接続できなくなります。[PRINERGY-44364]
• 接続された印刷機または DFE がダウンしているときに、それらのデバイスから（［Setup］>［デバイス］>［デジタル デバイス］を選択して）印刷材のインポートやデバイス機能の再ロードを試みると、ジョブの送信時にデジタル ジョブ チケット エディタに印刷材またはデバイスの設定が表示されなくなります。これらの設定をデジタル ジョブ チケット エディタで表示されるようにするには、デバイスの起動後に印刷材を再インポートまたはデバイス機能を再ロードする必要があります。[PRINERGY-44749]
• 複数の印刷機が接続されている HP DFE では、Prinergy サーバーが名前で認識されません。Prinergy サーバー名が DFE で正しく解決されていることを確認します。Windows で実行している DFE の場合は、Prinergy ホスト名と IP アドレスを C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\host に追加します。[PRINERGY 45428]

Ricoh 

• Kodak タイプ S4 によって拡張された PDF RIP を使用した表紙付きの平綴じジョブが Ricoh デジタル フロント エンドに送信されると、誤った出力の向きになることがあります。[PRINERGY-42077] 

• Kodak タイプ S4 によって拡張された PDF RIP を使用した Ricoh デジタル フロント エンドでは、JDF 実装における制限により、レイアウト オプションは現在サポートされていません。[PRINERGY-39050] 

• 面を Ricoh に送信するとき、ジオメトリ変換のためにジョブで定義されたノドが時計回りに 90 度回転されますが、プリンタで最終的に正しく出力されません。質問がある場合は、コダックの担当者にお問い合わせください。[PRINERGY-42029]

• 正常に印刷されたジョブは、デバイス モニターの［完了］キューではなく、［保留中］キューに移動します。これは Ricoh の既知の問題です。[PRINERGY-45100]

Konica Minolta

コート紙または非コート紙のステータスがインポートされないか、Konica Minolta IC-602 または C1070 デジタル プリンタ フロント エンド ソフトウェアとのデジタル接続に関して Prinergy Setup に正しく反映されない場合があります。正常に出力を実行するために、Konica Minolta ソフトウェアでジョブの設定を手動で更新する必要があります。[PRINERGY-43211]

EFI

• EFI のソフトウェアとの双方向通信に制限があるために、完了したジョブは Prinergy Workflow のデバイス モニターの［完了］キューに表示されず、完了するとどのキューにも存在しないことになります。[PRINERGY-43780]
• EFI の双方向接続に問題があるため、Prinergy デバイス モニターには誤ったインキ数が表示されます。[PRINERGY-46698]
• 従来の JDF 接続による既知の EFI プロセスでは、ジョブは直接出力されず、最初に［保留中］キューに入れられます。[PRINERGY-46646]

日本語にローカライズされた Prinergy Workshop

日本語にローカライズされた Prinergy Workshop でプロセス テンプレートにドラッグ＆ドロップしてファイルを送信すると、Workshop が予期せず終了することがあります。[PRINERGY-43660] 

レガシー Workspace の機能

Workspace は、Prinergy 6.0 で導入され、Prinergy 7.5 までサポートされたジョブおよび面付けインターフェイスです。たとえば次のような、Workshop クライアント ワークフローではサポートされていない Prinergy Workflow ユーザー インターフェイスに残っているいくつかの要素があります。

• ルール ベースの自動処理の面付け生成操作
• APA（自動ページ割り当て）機能のラン リストの割り当て
• 設計イベントとアクション
• ラン リスト イベント
• シナリオ アクション
• 検証アクション
• シナリオの割り当て成功イベント

注意：サポートされないアクションを使用しないようにすることをお勧めします。

Prinergy の折丁選択の制限

Prinergy の折丁選択は Preps 5 モードで動作します。そのため、Preps 6 以降との連携に関連するいくつかの制限事項があります。

面付けの編集

• 折丁選択で、カム＆ゴー、カット＆スタック、複数の綴じ型式を含むジョブは編集できません。これらのスタイルのいずれかを使用する面付けを編集しようとしても、［面付けの編集］ダイアログ ボックスで［Prinergy の折丁選択を使用］オプションは選択できません。代わりに、［他の面付けアプリケーションを使用］を選択して Preps を開始できます。
• 折丁選択を使用してカム＆ゴーまたはカット＆スタックを作成し、Preps 6 以降を使用して面付けを編集すると、ジョブが以前のバージョンの Preps で作成されたことを示す警告メッセージが表示されます。このメッセージに対応するための特別な操作は必要ありません。

面付けのインポート

• 折丁選択では、カム＆ゴーまたはカット＆スタックの綴じ型式を含む Preps 6 ジョブのインポートをサポートしていません。新しい面付けを作成する場合、［既存の Preps ジョブを使用］を選択して、カム＆ゴーまたはカット＆スタックの綴じ型式を含む Preps 6 ジョブを選択すると、エラー メッセージが表示されます。面付けを作成するには、別のジョブ ファイルを選択するか、他の面付けソフトウェアを使用します。

面付けの作成

• 新しい面付けを作成する場合、Preps 5 モードでのみ、カム＆ゴーまたはカット＆スタックの綴じ型式を使用できます。
• Preps 5 と 6 では、カット＆スタックおよびカム＆ゴー ジョブの表示方法が異なります。Preps 6 では、カット＆スタック ジョブは複数の原反として表示され、カム＆ゴー ジョブは複数のセクションとして表示されます。Prinergy Workshop ではこのようなジョブが Preps 6 形式で表示され、折丁選択では Preps 5 形式で表示されます。これは単に表示方法が異なるだけです。ページの割り当てに問題はなく、面付けは正しく出力されます。

［Prinergy の折丁選択を使用］オプションでの自動選択

［Prinergy の折丁選択を使用］オプションの自動選択と、Preps の自動選択では、結果が異なる場合があります。自動選択の結果が予想どおりかどうか、確認してください。

必要に応じて、［上へ移動］または［下へ移動］を使用して折丁の順序を調整したり、［追加］または［削除］を使用して折丁を修正したりすることができます。
問題を回避するには、PrepsPrinergy.cfg ファイルおよび PrepsPrinergy.cfg.template ファイルを編集して、次の行を追加します。
AUTOSELECT_MINIMUM_PAGES:1

Dashboard

個別のカスタム フィールドの有効／無効ステータスの状況にかかわらず、すべてのカスタム フィールドが Dashboard に表示されます。[PRINERGY-29639]

混在環境における Windows サーバーでの SMB 2 および SMB 3 の制限事項

デフォルトでは、Windows Server 2012 R2 を実行している Prinergy サーバーは、SMB 2 と 3 が有効な状態で出荷されます。最良のパフォーマンスを得るために、すべての Prinergy サーバーとターシャリ サーバーは、Windows Server 2012 R2 を実行している必要があります。Windows Server 2008 R2 を実行している Prinergy サーバーがあるか、Windows Server 2012 R2 を実行していないターシャリ サーバーがある場合は、SMB 2 と 3 を無効にして、SMB 1 が使用されるようにする必要があります。無効にしない場合は、パフォーマンスとファイルへのアクセスおよび転送に関する問題が発生することがあります。SMB 2 および 3 を無効にする方法については、ローカルのサポート担当者にお問い合わせください。
Prinergy 8.1.1 では、Windows Server 2008 R2 上の SMB 2 は自動的に無効になります。

注意： 

• SMB 3 は、同種の Windows 2012 R2 環境において、パフォーマンスの問題の原因となる場合があります。その場合は、通常、SMB 1 に戻すことで、以前のパフォーマンスが復元されることが報告されています。
• 上記のパフォーマンスまたはファイルの整合性の問題が原因で SMB 3 が以前無効になっていた場合は、Prinergy 8.1.1 にアップグレードした後で、再び無効にする必要があります。アップグレードを完了した後でローカルのサポート担当者に連絡し、SMB 3 を再び無効にしてください。

RBA

Prinergy Workflow 8.1.2 にアップグレードした後でルール ベース オートメーション（RBA）が開始しないことがあります。この問題が発生して対処するには、Partner Place アンサー 73601 を参照してください。

ライセンス

Prinergy Workflow 8.1.2 から以前インストールしたバージョンにロールバックするとき、Prinergy サーバーが、以前インストールしたバージョンのライセンスを自動的に取得できない場合があります。このような場合は、Prinergy Administrator から、現在のライセンスが無効であるという警告を受け取ります。この問題が発生した場合は、サービスへ連絡して問題に対処してください。[PRINERGY-45926]

Windows 2016 ターシャリ

Windows 2016 は、Prinergy Workflow のジョブ ホームとしてもターシャリとしてもサポートされていません。また、Prinergy Workflow システムで EPM+ フェールオーバー サーバーも稼働している環境で、Windows 2016 サーバーをジョブ ホームとして設定すると、EPM+ サーバーを作動させた時に、Windows 2016 サーバー上のジョブ ホームからジョブにアクセスすることはできません。[PRINERGY-47070]

8.2.0 から 8.1.2 にダウングレードした後、ジョブの作成に失敗する

8.2.0 にアップグレードした後に Prinergy 8.1.2 にダウングレードする必要が生じた場合、ダウングレードした 8.1.2 サーバーでジョブを作成するとエラーが発生することがあります。

この問題が発生した場合は、コダックのサービス担当者に連絡して、Prinergy システムの問題に対処してください。[PRINERGY-46987]
