In this discussion we will focus on the items relating to the tools available to help you source and display the information as you need it.
NOTE: This is a generic introduction to help familiarize yourself with the core components available.
Items that are specific to a particular Dashboard will be discussed in greater detail within each specific Analytic offering.
Each visual aid offers a series of tools to engage and enhance your views of the dashboard - from left to right:
- Up arrow – this lets you go higher “Drill up” on the data set.
- Use this after a “Drill down” action has taken place - to bring you back to the top/higher level.
- Down arrow – this lets you go deeper “Drill down” into the data set.
- Use this to when you find a data metric, that has more details within. Example: Overall / Output; Down arrow – Output / ServerName
- Double down arrow – go to the next level in the hierarchy.
- Use this when you have multiple PRINERGY systems to drill to different servers.
- Mariner’s pitchfork – not only “Drill down” a level, but also expand the data point if to show all the subset data points within.
- Use this when you have multiple PRINERGY systems to drill to different servers.
- Focus mode – allows the respective visual to expand into a larger view taking over the entire blade. This feature has been used throughout this Online Help.
- Use the <Close> button to come back to the original view.
