You can check the average tint value, mesh ruling (frequency) and angle of halftone areas in a rectangular area in of the 1-bit TIFF file.

  1. On the toolbar, click Image Removedthe eyedropper Image Added.
  2. In the layout window, drag the pointer over file, marquee around the area you want to check in the image.
    The values of tint average, mesh ruling (frequency) and angle of the selected screened area are displayed on the the Separations tab of the Inventory palette.
