Medium Verify

Verifies that the selected medium can be read, that there are no errors on it, and that the format of the contents is correct.
This menu item is not available when you select a medium that is allocated to software other than Prinergy in Removable Storage Manager.

Medium Logical Copy

Copies all jobs on the selected medium to other media in one or more media pools. Use the operation to replace a damaged medium or to make a second copy of data for which only a single copy was originally made.
If a read error is encountered on the source medium, Media Manager attempts to use other copies of the file that are in your system to build a complete new copy of the affected medium.
This menu item is not available when you select a medium that is allocated to software other than Prinergy in Removable Storage Manager.

Medium Complete

Sets the selected disk to read-only. You may want to set a disk to read-only if:

• • You have encountered errors reading from or writing to the disk.
  • You have written particular archives to the disk and do not wish to use it anymore.
  • The disk is almost full.

The disk is set to Complete in Removable Storage Manager as well as in Media Manager.

Close Window

Closes the current window, but does not quit Workshop.

Quit / Quit Prinergy Workshop

Quits Workshop. Any open Workshop windows are closed.

Fin du support

Configure le disque sélectionné en lecture seule. Il peut être souhaitable de configurer un disque en lecture seule si :

• • vous avez rencontré des erreurs de lecture ou d'écriture sur le disque ;
  • vous avez enregistré des archives spécifiques sur ce disque et ne souhaitez plus l'utiliser ;
  • le disque est presque plein.

Le disque est défini sur Terminé aussi bien dans le Gestionnaire de stockage amovible que dans le Gestionnaire des supports.

Fermer la fenêtre

Ferme la fenêtre en cours sans quitter Workshop.

Quitter / Quitter Prinergy Workshop

Quitte Workshop. Toutes les fenêtres Workshop ouvertes sont fermées.

Medium prüfen

Medium Logische Kopie

Kopiert alle Jobs auf dem ausgewählten Medium zu anderen Medien in einem oder mehreren Datenträgerpools. Verwenden Sie diesen Vorgang, um ein beschädigtes Medium zu ersetzen, oder um eine zweite Kopie von Daten zu erstellen, von denen ursprünglich nur ein Exemplar erstellt wurde.

Medium abschließen

• • Sie haben beim Lesen des Bandes oder Schreiben auf den Datenträger Fehler festgestellt.
  • Sie haben bestimmte Archive auf dem Datenträger gespeichert und möchten diesen nicht länger verwenden.
  • Der Datenträger ist fast voll.

Der Datenträger ist im Wechselmedien-Manager und in Media Manager auf Abgeschlossen eingestellt.

Fenster schließen

Schließt das aktuelle Fenster, ohne Workshop zu beenden.

Beenden/Prinergy Workshop beenden

Beendet Workshop. Alle geöffneten Workshop-Fenster werden geschlossen.

Copia todos los trabajos de un medio seleccionado en otros medio de uno o varios grupos de medios. Utilice la operación para reemplazar un medio dañado o para crear una segunda copia de los datos de los que solo se creó una copia originalmente.
Si se produce un error de lectura en el material de origen, el Administrador de medios trata de utilizar otras copias del archivo que haya en el sistema para generar una copia nueva y completa del material afectado.

Medio completo

  • Se han grabado archivos concretos en el disco y no se desea utilizarla más.
  • El disco está casi lleno.

El disco se establece como Completado en el Administrador de medios de almacenamiento extraíbles y en el Administrador de medios.

Cerrar ventana

Cierra la ventana actual, pero no sale de Workshop.

Salir / Salir de Prinergy Workshop

Sale de Workshop. Se cerrarán todas las ventanas de Workshop que estén abiertas.
