Information

Title

Detects the PDF file's title, which may have been set by the person who created the file in the source software, such as Adobe Illustrator.
Beside Options, type a title in the box. To confirm that the PDF file you're checking has the title that you typed, select Is or Contains. To confirm that the PDF file does not have the title that you typed, select Is Not or Does Not Contain.
To change the title select the Fix check box, and type a new name in the adjacent box. When you select the Fix check box, PDF Preflight displays  in the Fix column.

Subject

Detects the PDF file's subject name, which may have been set by the person who created the file in the source software.
Beside Options, type a subject in the box. To confirm that the PDF file you're checking has the subject that you typed, select Is or Contains. To confirm that the PDF file does not have the subject that you typed, select Is Not or Does Not Contain.
To change the subject name select the Fix check box.

Author

Detects the PDF file's author, which may have been set by the person who created the file in the source software.
Beside Options, type the author's name in the box. To confirm that the PDF file that you're checking has the author that you typed, select Is or Contains. To confirm that the PDF file does not have the author that you typed, select Is Not or Does Not Contain.
To change the author select the Fix check box.

Producer

Identifies the PDF file's producer, which is the software that generated the PDF file, such as Acrobat Distiller 5.0.
Beside Options, type a producer name in the box. To confirm that the PDF file that you're checking has the producer that you typed, select Is or Contains. To confirm that the PDF file does not have the producer that you typed, select Is Not or Does Not Contain.
To change the producer select the Fix check box.

Creator

Identifies the PDF file's creator, which is the software that created the original document, such as Microsoft Word.
Beside Options, type a creator name in the box. To confirm that the PDF file that you're checking has the creator that you typed, select Is or Contains. To confirm that the PDF file does not have the creator that you typed, select Is Not or Does Not Contain.
To change the creator select the Fix check box.

Keyword

Detects keywords in the PDF file. Use when you want to search for keywords in a document, instead of relying on the file name or opening the document and searching its contents.
Beside Options, type a keyword in the box. To confirm that the PDF file that you're checking has the keyword that you typed, select Is or Contains. To confirm that the PDF file does not have the keyword that you typed, select Is Not or Does Not Contain.
To change the keyword select the Fix check box.

Modification and creation date are not set

Identifies the PDF file's modification and creation dates.
To add a date to the current date select the Fix check box.

Trap flag

Detects the PDF file's trapping information
Select Detect if Trap flag Is or Is not set to:

• • Trapped
  • Not Trapped
  • Unknown

To change the trap flag setting select the Fix check box. For example, if you select Trap flag is not set to Trapped and PDF Preflight detects that the flag isn't set to trapped in the PDF file, PDF Preflight changes it to trapped when you select the Fix check box. If you select Trap flag Is, the Fix check box is not available.
If you convert the PDF file to PDF/X, PDF Preflight automatically selects Trap flag is not set to: Not Trapped.

Format

PDF version is

Determines whether the PDF file is Not Equal to or Less Than PDF version 1.3, 1.4, or 1.5. Adobe Acrobat 4.0 and later fully supports PDF version 1.3.
Besides Options, select the PDF version.
PDF Preflight checks for PDF 1.4 or PDF 1.5 objects in the PDF file. If the file includes PDF 1.4 or 1.5 objects, most software cannot process the file correctly without flattening and converting it to PDF 1.3. Note that a PDF file may be created by Acrobat Distiller 5.0 and later and still be compatible with PDF 1.3.

PDF uses more advanced features than

Determines whether the PDF file uses more advanced features than PDF version 1.3 or 1.4.
PDF Preflight checks for PDF 1.4 or PDF 1.5 objects in the PDF file. If the file includes PDF 1.4 or 1.5 objects, most software cannot process the file correctly without flattening and converting it to PDF 1.3. A PDF file may be created by Adobe Acrobat Distiller 5.0 and later and still be compatible with PDF 1.3.

Nonoptimal compression

Identifies the methods of compression for the PDF file. PDF Preflight uses ZIP and LZW compression for color images that are not optimally compressed and CCITT compression for monochrome images that are not optimally compressed.
To use ZIP compression select the Fix check box.

Document is ASCII encoded

Determines whether the PDF file uses ASCII or binary encoding. ASCII encoding works on all platforms and operating systems. Binary encoding provides smaller files and is acceptable in most situations.
To remove the ASCII encoding select the Fix check box.

Document is damaged

Determines whether the PDF file has missing objects, such as graphics.

PDF2Go Files

Detects files from PDF2Go software. PDF Preflight detects whether the PDF file is a Brisque or PDF2Go file or a PDF version of the Brisque Export PostScript file. PDF2Go files include only CEPS (CT/LW) data and should be protected from data manipulation, such as overprint and trapping.

Document contains Layers

PDF Preflight detects whether the PDF file has layers.

Document structure is compressed

PDF Preflight detects whether the PDF file metadata structure is compressed.

Security

Encryption

Determines whether the PDF file uses any encryption. Third-party software, such as Acrobat, can use encryption to restrict access to a PDF file. You can also set a password that restricts functions (for example, printing or selecting text) and restricts other people from changing the security options that you selected.

Printing

Determines whether the PDF file permits printing.

Content editing

Determines whether the PDF file permits content changes.

Annotation editing and form authoring

Determines whether the PDF file permits changes to annotations, including links, bookmarks, attachments, and comments in the file. This also detects whether the PDF file allows the creation of forms. A PDF form can collect data from a user and then send the data via e-mail.

Metadata

Document contains form fields

Detects whether the PDF file contains interactive form fields to be filled in by the user. The data from these fields can be exported or imported into other programs.

Document contains article threads

Detects whether the PDF file contains article threads, which link together items of content within the document that are logically connected but not physically sequential. For example, magazines and newspapers arrange text that may flow from column to column and sometimes across multiple pages. In Acrobat, you use the Article tool to create a series of linked rectangles that connect the various sections of an article.

Document contains JavaScript

Detects whether the PDF file contains JavaScript, which can be added to a form field, link, bookmark, document, or page action.

Document contains thumbnails

Detects whether the PDF file contains thumbnails. Thumbnails are miniature previews of the pages in a document. In Acrobat, you can use page thumbnails to jump quickly to a selected page and to adjust the view of the pages.

Document contains bookmarks

Detects whether the PDF file contains bookmarks. A bookmark is a type of link that appears on the Bookmarks tab in the navigation pane. Each bookmark goes to a different view or location in the document. You can use electronic bookmarks as you would with paper documents—to mark a place in a document to which you want to return. You can also use a bookmark to direct the reader's attention to where you want it.

Document does not conform to tagged PDF conventions

Detects whether or not the PDF file conforms to tagged PDF conventions (by determining whether or not the file contains the key Marked set to the value true in a MarkInfo dictionary).
A PDF conforming to tagged PDF conventions allows applications to easily extract and reuse content from a PDF document. The conventions are described in the PDF Specification.

Document contains actions

Detects whether the PDF file contains actions. In Acrobat, an action is an event that you can assign to a link, bookmark, page, and form field. It can include displaying a specified destination in a document, opening a file, submitting a form, and playing a sound or movie.

Document contains unused destinations

Detects whether the PDF file contains unused destinations. A destination is a particular view of a document, including the page of the document to be displayed and the zoom to use when displaying the page. Destinations may be associated with outline items, annotations, or actions.

Fonction

Auteur

Cette option détecte l'auteur du fichier PDF qui peut avoir été défini par l'auteur du fichier dans l'application source.
Entrez le nom de l'auteur dans le champ près des Options. Pour confirmer que le fichier PDF que vous vérifiez a bien le nom d'auteur que vous lui avez attribué, sélectionnez Est ou Contient. Pour confirmer que le fichier PDF n'a pas le nom d'auteur que vous avez saisi, sélectionnez N'est pas ou Ne contient pas.
Pour modifier l'auteur, activez la case à cocher Corriger.

Producteur

Cette option identifie le producteur du fichier PDF, à savoir l'application qui a généré le fichier, telle que Acrobat Distiller 5.0.
Entrez le nom du producteur dans la zone près d'Options. Pour confirmer que le fichier PDF que vous vérifiez a bien le nom du producteur que vous avez saisi, sélectionnez Est ou Contient. Créateur

Mot-clé

Détecte des mots-clés dans le fichier PDF. Cette option est utilisée pour rechercher des mots-clés dans un document au lieu de se fier au nom du fichier ou d'ouvrir le document pour effectuer une recherche dans son contenu.
Entrez un mot-clé dans la zone près d'Options. Pour confirmer que le fichier PDF que vous vérifiez a bien le mot-clé que vous avez saisi, sélectionnez Est ou Contient. Pour confirmer que le fichier PDF n'a pas le mot-clé que vous avez saisi, sélectionnez N'est pas ou Ne contient pas.
Pour modifier le mot-clé, activez la case à cocher Corriger.

Dates de création et de modification non configurées

Identifie les dates de création et de modification du fichier PDF.
Pour ajouter une date à la date du jour, activez la case à cocher Corriger.

Indicateur de recouvrement

Cette option détecte les informations de recouvrement du fichier PDF.
Sélectionnez Détecter si l'indicateur de recouvrement est configuré ou n 'est pas configuré sur :

Pour modifier l'indicateur de recouvrement, activez la case à cocher Corriger. Par exemple, si vous avez sélectionné L'indicateur de recouvrement n'est pas configuré sur Recouvert alors que l'indicateur n'est pas configuré pour le recouvrement dans le fichier PDF, PDF Preflight le configure lorsque vous activez la case à cocher Corriger. Si vous choisissez L'indicateur de recouvrement est, la case à cocher Corriger n'est pas disponible.
Si vous convertissez le fichier PDF en PDF/X, PDF Preflight sélectionne automatiquement L'indicateur de recouvrement n'est pas configuré sur : Non recouvert.

Format

La version PDF est

Détermine si le fichier PDF est Pas égal à ou Inférieur à la version PDF 1.3, 1.4 ou 1.5. Adobe Acrobat 4.0 et les versions ultérieures prennent intégralement en charge la version PDF 1.3.

Fichiers PDF2Go

Cette option permet de détecter des fichiers provenant de l'application PDF2Go. PDF Preflight détecte si le fichier PDF est un fichier Brisque ou PDF2Go, ou s'il s'agit d'une version PDF du fichier PostScript exporté par Brisque. Les fichiers PDF2Go contiennent uniquement des données CEPS (CT/LW) et doivent être protégés contre les manipulations de données par surimpression et recouvrement par exemple.

Sécurité

Cryptage

Détecte si le fichier PDF contient des threads vers des articles, qui lient les éléments de contenu du document qui sont logiquement connectés mais non séquentiels au niveau physique Par exemple, les magazines et les journaux disposent du texte d'une colonne à l'autre et parfois sur plusieurs pages.Dans Acrobat, l'outil Articles vous permet de créer une série de rectangles qui relient les différentes parties d'un article entre-elles.

Le document contient un JavaScript

Détecte si le fichier PDF contient JavaScript, qui peut s'ajouter à un champ de formulaire, un lien, un signet, un document ou une action.

Le document contient des miniatures

Cette option détecte si le fichier PDF contient des miniatures. Les miniatures sont des représentations miniatures des pages d'un document. Dans Acrobat, elles permettent d'atteindre rapidement des pages spécifiques et de changer le mode d'affichage.

Le document contient des signets

Cette option détecte si le fichier PDF contient des signets. Un signet est un type de lien qui s'affiche dans l'onglet Signets du volet de navigation. Chaque signet pointe vers une vue ou un emplacement spécifique du document. Vous pouvez utiliser des signets électroniques comme vous le feriez avec des documents papier pour repérer un emplacement dans un document et y revenir ultérieurement. Vous pouvez également utiliser un signet pour attirer l'attention du lecteur sur un point spécifique.

Document does not conform to tagged PDF conventions (Le document n'est pas conforme aux conventions de balisage PDF)

Cette option détecte si le fichier PDF est conforme aux conventions de balisage PDF (en déterminant si ce fichier contient ou non une clé Marked définie sur la valeur true dans un dictionnaire MarkInfo).
Lorsqu'un fichier PDF est conforme aux conventions de balisage PDF, les applications peuvent alors en extraire et réutiliser facilement le contenu. Vous trouverez une description des conventions dans les spécifications PDF.

Le document contient des actions

Détermine si le fichier PDF contient des actions. Dans Acrobat, une action correspond à un événement que vous pouvez affecter à un lien, un signet, une page et à un champ de formulaire. Parmi les actions, on peut trouver : l'affichage d'une destination spécifiée dans un document, l'ouverture d'un fichier, l'envoi d'un formulaire et la lecture d'un son ou d'une animation.

选择检测陷印标记已/未设置为：

Título

Detecta el título del archivo PDF, definido posiblemente por el usuario que creó el archivo en la aplicación de origen, por ejemplo, Adobe Illustrator.
Escriba un título en el cuadro situado junto a Options (Opciones). Para confirmar que el archivo PDF que se está comprobando tiene el título que se introdujo, seleccione Es o Contiene. Para confirmar que el archivo PDF que está comprobando no tiene el título que introdujo, seleccione Is Not (No es) o Does Not Contain (No contiene). 
Para cambiar el título, active la casilla de verificación Solucionar y escriba otro título en el cuadro adyacente. Cuando se activa la casilla de verificación Solucionar, PDF Preflight muestra  en la columna Solucionar.

Asunto

Detecta el nombre del asunto del archivo PDF, definido posiblemente por el usuario que creó el archivo en la aplicación de origen.

Autor

Escriba una palabra clave en el cuadro situado junto a Options (Opciones). Para confirmar que el archivo PDF que se está comprobando tiene la palabra clave que se especificó, seleccione Es o Contiene. Modification and creation date are not set (Fechas de creación y modificación no definidas)

Identifica las fechas de creación y modificación del archivo PDF.
Para agregar una fecha a la fecha actual, active la casilla de verificación Solucionar.

Indicador de solapamiento

Detecta la información de solapamiento del archivo PDF.
Seleccione Detectar si el indicador de solapamiento está o no e stablecido en:

Para cambiar la opción del indicador de solapamiento, active la casilla de verificación Solucionar. Por ejemplo, si selecciona Trap flag is not set to: Trapped (Indicador de solapamiento no establecido en: Solapado) y PDF Preflight detecta que en el archivo PDF el indicador no se ha establecido en solapado, PDF Preflight lo cambia a solapado al activar la casilla de verificación Fix (Solucionar). Si se selecciona Indicador de solapamiento está, la casilla de verificación Solucionar no está disponible.
Si convierte el archivo PDF a PDF/X, PDF Preflight selecciona automáticamente la opción Indicador de solapamiento Indicador de solapamiento no establecido en: No solapado.

Formato

La versión de PDF es

Determina si el archivo PDF es No igual a o Menor que la versión PDF 1.3, 1.4 o 1.5. Adobe Acrobat 4.0 y las versiones posteriores son plenamente compatibles con la versión 1.3 de PDF.
Al lado de Opciones, seleccione la versión PDF.

Archivos PDF2Go

Detecta si el archivo PDF contiene JavaScript, que se puede añadir a un campo de formulario, vínculo, marcador, documento o acción de página.

Document contains thumbnails (El documento contiene miniaturas)

Determina si el archivo PDF contiene vistas en miniatura. Las vistas en miniatura son pequeñas vistas previas de las páginas de un documento. En Acrobat, puede utilizar las vistas en miniatura para saltar fácilmente a una página seleccionada y ajustar la visualización de las páginas.

Document contains bookmarks (El documento contiene marcadores)

Determina si el archivo PDF contiene marcadores. Un marcador es un tipo de vínculo que aparece en la ficha Marcadores del panel de navegación. Cada marcador va a una vista o ubicación diferente del documento. Puede utilizar marcadores electrónicos como lo haría con documentos de papel, es decir, para marcar un lugar del documento al que desee regresar. También se pueden utilizar para dirigir la atención del lector adonde desee.

Document does not conform to tagged PDF conventions (El documento no se ajusta a las convenciones de PDF etiquetado)

Determina si el archivo PDF se ajusta a las convenciones de PDF etiquetado. Para ello, se determina si la clave Marked (Marcado) del archivo tiene asignado el valor true (verdadero) en un diccionario MarkInfo.
Los PDF que se ajustan a las convenciones de PDF etiquetado permiten que otras aplicaciones extraigan y reutilicen de manera sencilla el contenido de los documentos PDF. Las convenciones se describen en la Especificación PDF.

Document contains actions (El documento contiene acciones)

Determina si el archivo PDF contiene acciones. En Acrobat, una acción es un evento que puede asignar a un vínculo, un marcador, una página o a un campo de formulario. Puede incluir la visualización de un determinado destino en un documento, la apertura de un archivo, el envío de un formulario o la reproducción de un sonido o una película.

Document contains unused destinations (El documento contiene destinos sin utilizar)

Determina si el archivo PDF contiene destinos sin utilizar. Un destino es una vista determinada de un documento, incluida la página del documento que se ha de mostrar y el zoom que se ha de utilizar cuando se muestra la página.Los destinos se pueden asociar con elementos de contorno, anotaciones o acciones.

Information

Title

Detects the PDF file's title, which may have been set by the person who created the file in the source software, such as Adobe Illustrator.
Beside Options, type a title in the box. To confirm that the PDF file you're checking has the title that you typed, select Is or Contains. To confirm that the PDF file does not have the title that you typed, select Is Not or Does Not Contain.
To change the title select the Fix check box, and type a new name in the adjacent box. When you select the Fix check box, PDF Preflight displays  in the Fix column.

Subject

Detects the PDF file's subject name, which may have been set by the person who created the file in the source software.
Beside Options, type a subject in the box. To confirm that the PDF file you're checking has the subject that you typed, select Is or Contains. To confirm that the PDF file does not have the subject that you typed, select Is Not or Does Not Contain.
To change the subject name select the Fix check box.

Author

Detects the PDF file's author, which may have been set by the person who created the file in the source software.
Beside Options, type the author's name in the box. To confirm that the PDF file that you're checking has the author that you typed, select Is or Contains. To confirm that the PDF file does not have the author that you typed, select Is Not or Does Not Contain.
To change the author select the Fix check box.

Producer

Identifies the PDF file's producer, which is the software that generated the PDF file, such as Acrobat Distiller 5.0.
Beside Options, type a producer name in the box. To confirm that the PDF file that you're checking has the producer that you typed, select Is or Contains. To confirm that the PDF file does not have the producer that you typed, select Is Not or Does Not Contain.
To change the producer select the Fix check box.

Creator

Identifies the PDF file's creator, which is the software that created the original document, such as Microsoft Word.

Detects keywords in the PDF file. Use when you want to search for keywords in a document, instead of relying on the file name or opening the document and searching its contents.
Beside Options, type a keyword in the box. To confirm that the PDF file that you're checking has the keyword that you typed, select Is or Contains. To confirm that the PDF file does not have the keyword that you typed, select Is Not or Does Not Contain.
To change the keyword select the Fix check box.

Modification and creation date are not set

Identifies the PDF file's modification and creation dates.
To add a date to the current date select the Fix check box.

Trap flag

Detects the PDF file's trapping information
Select Detect if Trap flag Is or Is not set to:

• • Trapped
  • Not Trapped
  • Unknown

To change the trap flag setting select the Fix check box. For example, if you select Trap flag is not set to Trapped and PDF Preflight detects that the flag isn't set to trapped in the PDF file, PDF Preflight changes it to trapped when you select the Fix check box. If you select Trap flag Is, the Fix check box is not available.
If you convert the PDF file to PDF/X, PDF Preflight automatically selects Trap flag is not set to: Not Trapped.

Format

PDF version is

Determines whether the PDF file is Not Equal to or Less Than PDF version 1.3, 1.4, or 1.5. Adobe Acrobat 4.0 and later fully supports PDF version 1.3.
Besides Options, select the PDF version.
PDF Preflight checks for PDF 1.4 or PDF 1.5 objects in the PDF file. If the file includes PDF 1.4 or 1.5 objects, most software cannot process the file correctly without flattening and converting it to PDF 1.3. Note that a PDF file may be created by Acrobat Distiller 5.0 and later and still be compatible with PDF 1.3.

PDF uses more advanced features than

Determines whether the PDF file uses more advanced features than PDF version 1.3 or 1.4.
PDF Preflight checks for PDF 1.4 or PDF 1.5 objects in the PDF file. If the file includes PDF 1.4 or 1.5 objects, most software cannot process the file correctly without flattening and converting it to PDF 1.3. A PDF file may be created by Adobe Acrobat Distiller 5.0 and later and still be compatible with PDF 1.3.

Nonoptimal compression

Identifies the methods of compression for the PDF file. PDF Preflight uses ZIP and LZW compression for color images that are not optimally compressed and CCITT compression for monochrome images that are not optimally compressed.
To use ZIP compression select the Fix check box.

Document is ASCII encoded

Determines whether the PDF file uses ASCII or binary encoding. ASCII encoding works on all platforms and operating systems. Binary encoding provides smaller files and is acceptable in most situations.
To remove the ASCII encoding select the Fix check box.

Document is damaged

Determines whether the PDF file has missing objects, such as graphics.

PDF2Go Files

Detects files from PDF2Go software. PDF Preflight detects whether the PDF file is a Brisque or PDF2Go file or a PDF version of the Brisque Export PostScript file. PDF2Go files include only CEPS (CT/LW) data and should be protected from data manipulation, such as overprint and trapping.

Document contains Layers

PDF Preflight detects whether the PDF file has layers.

Document structure is compressed

PDF Preflight detects whether the PDF file metadata structure is compressed.

Security

Encryption

Determines whether the PDF file uses any encryption. Third-party software, such as Acrobat, can use encryption to restrict access to a PDF file. You can also set a password that restricts functions (for example, printing or selecting text) and restricts other people from changing the security options that you selected.

Printing

Determines whether the PDF file permits printing.

Content editing

Determines whether the PDF file permits content changes.

Annotation editing and form authoring

Determines whether the PDF file permits changes to annotations, including links, bookmarks, attachments, and comments in the file. This also detects whether the PDF file allows the creation of forms. A PDF form can collect data from a user and then send the data via e-mail.

Metadata

Document contains form fields

Detects whether the PDF file contains interactive form fields to be filled in by the user. The data from these fields can be exported or imported into other programs.

Document contains article threads

Detects whether the PDF file contains article threads, which link together items of content within the document that are logically connected but not physically sequential. For example, magazines and newspapers arrange text that may flow from column to column and sometimes across multiple pages. In Acrobat, you use the Article tool to create a series of linked rectangles that connect the various sections of an article.

Document contains JavaScript

Detects whether the PDF file contains JavaScript, which can be added to a form field, link, bookmark, document, or page action.

Document contains thumbnails

Detects whether the PDF file contains thumbnails. Thumbnails are miniature previews of the pages in a document. In Acrobat, you can use page thumbnails to jump quickly to a selected page and to adjust the view of the pages.

Document contains bookmarks

Detects whether the PDF file contains bookmarks. A bookmark is a type of link that appears on the Bookmarks tab in the navigation pane. Each bookmark goes to a different view or location in the document. You can use electronic bookmarks as you would with paper documents—to mark a place in a document to which you want to return. You can also use a bookmark to direct the reader's attention to where you want it.

Document does not conform to tagged PDF conventions

Detects whether or not the PDF file conforms to tagged PDF conventions (by determining whether or not the file contains the key Marked set to the value true in a MarkInfo dictionary).
A PDF conforming to tagged PDF conventions allows applications to easily extract and reuse content from a PDF document. The conventions are described in the PDF Specification.

Document contains actions

Detects whether the PDF file contains actions. In Acrobat, an action is an event that you can assign to a link, bookmark, page, and form field. It can include displaying a specified destination in a document, opening a file, submitting a form, and playing a sound or movie.

Document contains unused destinations

Detects whether the PDF file contains unused destinations. A destination is a particular view of a document, including the page of the document to be displayed and the zoom to use when displaying the page. Destinations may be associated with outline items, annotations, or actions.
