When upgrading the primary server running on Windows 2016 operating system with Double-Take 8.2, perform the tasks listed in the specified order. - Disconnect the Prinergy DB replication job on the primary server:
- Open Double-Take Console: Go to Start > All Applications > Double-Take Console, or double-
click Console - click Console UI.

- From the Go menu, select Manage Jobs.
- Right-click
the - the PrinergyDb job
, - and select Stop.
- Upgrade the primary server.
- Upgrade the secondary (failover) server.
- Reconnect the PrinergyDB replication job:
- On the primary server, open Double-Take Console: Go to Start > All Applications > Double-Take Console, or double-
click Console - click Console UI.
exe in C- exe in C:\Program Files\Vision Solutions\Double-Take\Console.
- From the Go menu, select Manage Jobs.
- Right-click
the PrinergyDb job, and select Start.- Wait for the Activity to become Protecting and the Mirror Status to become Idle.
Close or quit Double-Take Replication Console.- on each of the job, PrinergyDB & PrinergyDBRestore, and delete it
