Use RBA to automate the creation of documents from files for submission to a digital print device.
In digital printing, a document combines content files (for example, PDF or variable-data print (VDP) files) with a job ticket (JDF file).
You can use RBA to prepare documents and target them for a digital production press using the following events and actions:

Use this event	To do this
Digital Submit event	Start the rule when files are submitted using the Prinergy Digital Submit software. A rule set that starts with the Digital Submit event must by enabled for the entire system.
Job Changed to Production event	Start the rule when files are moved to Production using the InSite Prepress Portal software or InSite Storefront software.
Job Hot Folder Drop event	Start the rule when files are dropped into a hot folder.
Manual Trigger event	Start the rule manually.
