  • The .xml file containing the license key for the registered product and version <dongleID>_KodakProofingSoftware-<prooferType>_<version>_Response.xml
  • The license dongle plugged into the computer
  1. Copy the license file to an accessible location.
  2. In Proofer Administrator, click the Controller icon, and click the License
  3. Click Add.
  4. In the Select License File dialog box, locate and select the license file, and click Open.
  5. When prompted, click OK to automatically restart the Controller software and activate the licensed features.
  6. After the restart, check the License tab to confirm that the licensed upgrade features are now available. Selecting the license key displays the features list below the license box.

Download and copy the new XML file to the Kodak Proofing Software server and submit that file to Kodak Proofing Software server by launching the Kodak Proofer Administrator, go to the License tab, click the Retrieve License button, then click Load License from a file, click Next, then Browse to locate the license file.
