1. Unplug the USB connector, and then reinsert the USB connector.
2. If the device is still not recognized, close the software, reconnect the device, and restart the software again.
3. If the connection still fails, turn off the computer, reconnect the device, and restart the computer and software

When you restart the software, it should recognize the spectrophotometer.
