Imposition Name

Populates with the imposition name you typed in the New Imposition dialog box.

Create New Page Set

Select this option to create a new page set in Workshop that is based on the new imposition plan.
By default, the page set is given the same name as the imposition plan, although you can change its name in the Name box.

Name

Displays the name of the page set. You can change the name as desired.
This option is available only when you select Create New Page Set.

Prefix

Displays the letter that will be used to identify the page positions in the new page set. You can change the prefix by typing up to five alphanumeric characters. The prefix must not end with a number.
This option is available only when you select Create New Page Set.

Number of Pages

The number of pages in the page set. Type the number of pages in this box and the system will dynamically update the From box. Alternatively, you can let the system automatically calculate the number of pages based on the To and From boxes.
This option is available only when you select Create New Page Set.

From

The first page set position number. You can change the number as desired.
This option is available only when you select Create New Page Set.

To

The last page set position number. You can change the number as desired. The system dynamically updates the Number of Pages box.
This option is available only when you select Create New Page Set.

Use Existing Page Set

Links the new imposition plan to an existing page set in the job. Select this option and, from the list, select an existing page set to which the imposition plan will be linked. Select a page set with the same number of page set positions as the new imposition plan.
This option is available only when the job contains an existing page set. If there is an existing page set, this option is selected automatically and the first page set in the list is selected.
Note: When you select this option, the page assignments in the new imposition plan will overwrite the page assignments in the existing page set. If you do not want to overwrite the page set assignments, select Create New Page Set instead.

Options area

Use existing Preps Job

Select to import an existing Preps job. Browse to and select the .job file.
Note: Signature Selection does not support import of Preps 6 jobs with come-and-go or cut-and-stack binding styles. When creating a new imposition , if you select Use existing Preps job and select a Preps 6 jobs with a come-and-go or cut-and-stack binding style, an error message appears. You have the choice of selecting a different job file or using an external imposition application to create the imposition.

Binding Style

Select the binding style to show in the Available Templates area, only those imposition templates with the same binding style.

Available Signatures

Navigate to and select the imposition that you want from this area. Once you have clicked the desired imposition, click Add.
Alternatively, click Auto Select to have Prinergy select impositions that provide the correct number of pages. With Auto Select, Prinergy first selects the largest full signature in the template that can accommodate the number of pages in the job. The job pages automatically flow through that signature as many times as needed, and then any remaining pages flow through a partial signature in the template, if available and depending on its position in the selected signatures list. If not, the remaining pages flow through the full signature and blank pages are automatically added, as needed.

Trim Size

Displays the trim size of the selected signature.

Sheet Size

Displays the sheet size of the selected signature.

Device

Select the final output device on which this output is eventually to be printed.

First Page Number in Next Signature

Type the first page number that you want the next signature to start at.

Target Device

Select the device to which you want to associate all selected signatures.
When you associate a signature with a device, you are setting various configuration output attributes for the signature. For information about configuration output attributes that you can set for each device, see the Preps Guide.

Selected Signatures

Displays the signatures that you have selected. You can also edit the Signature Number column and the Page column.
Use the following buttons to modify the selected signature order and delete selected signatures: Move Up, Move Down, and Delete.
Use the Renumber button to automatically renumber the signatures after you rearrange them and reset the starting page. This button overrides any locked numbers.

Shingling (Creep)

Type the amount of shingling that you want to apply in order to compensate for page creep. Positive values move the image area toward the binding edge of the page; negative values move the image away from the binding edge of the page. You can specify either an Inner amount or an Outer amount, or both.

Inner amount

• • • For perfect-bound or come-and-go template, the Inner amount is applied to the innermost pages of each signature. The specified amounts are applied to the largest signatures of the job, and shingling on any smaller signatures is scaled back so that all signatures match each other after binding.
    • For saddle-stitched template, the Inner amount is applied to the innermost pages of the book.

Outer amount

• • • Corresponding to the Inner amount rules, the Outer amount is applied to the outermost pages.

The shingling amounts are distributed evenly to the remaining pages (based on the total number of pages and the template binding style).

Background: Page creep occurs when a signature is folded and the image area of the inside pages of a signature extend slightly beyond the image area of the outside pages. The amount of creep is affected by the number of folds and by paper thickness. In perfect-bound jobs, creep is limited to the pages in each individual signature. In saddle-stitched jobs, each folded signature is placed inside another folded signature, causing the inside signature to extend a bit farther than the signature inside which it is placed.

Calculating Shingling Amounts

Calculate the amount of shingling to compensate for creep in a job. There are two methods of calculating shingling amounts: using an approximate formula, and using the exact method.
Approximate formula: (number of sheets / 4 ) x stock thickness
Note: The value you use for the number of sheets depends on the binding type:

• • • If perfect bound, this refers to pages per signature
    • If saddle-stitched, this is pages per entire book

The value of stock thickness is measured in microns. You can use a micrometer to determine this or use the measurement value provided by the paper supplier.
Exact method:

1. 1. 1. Make a folding dummy using the same kind of paper and the same folding equipment you plan to use for the job.
      2. Measure the amount of creep with a precise instrument.
      3. Measure the difference between the outer edge (face) of the outermost page and the outer edge of the innermost page.

Next, apply the shingling amounts

1. 1. 1. In the New Imposition dialog box, select Prinergy Signature Selection and select OK.
      2. In the New Imposition Details dialog box, type the inner and/or outer shingling amounts.

Bleed Margin Default

Type the default size of bleed margins which is the distance you want the bleed to extend on all sides beyond the page trim box for all pages. Prinergy will not apply a bleed margin if no bleed margin is specified.
Note: Bleeds are automatically cut off at the gutter fold lines.
You may want to decrease the bleed margin default if the actual press sheet is physically shorter than its defined size in order to prevent bleeding off the back edge of the sheet. Also, it is a good idea to increase bleed margins if a job has severe creep due to thick stock, in order to compensate for any shingling that moves the image area of the inner signature towards the binding.
Note: The unit of measurement is defined in the Preferences dialog box.

Le nombre de pages dans le jeu de pages. Entrez le nombre de pages dans ce champ et le système met à jour le champ De de manière dynamique. Vous pouvez aussi laisser le système calculer automatiquement le nombre de pages à partir des champs À et De.

Depuis

Le premier numéro de position du jeu de pages. Vous pouvez le changer comme vous le souhaitez.
Cette option n'est disponible que si vous sélectionnez Créer un jeu de pages.

Pour

Le dernier numéro de position du jeu de pages. Vous pouvez le changer comme vous le souhaitez. Le système met à jour le champ Nombre de pages de manière dynamique.
Cette option n'est disponible que si vous sélectionnez Créer un jeu de pages.

Utiliser un jeu de pages existant

Lie le nouveau plan d'imposition à un jeu de pages existant dans le travail. Sélectionnez cette option, puis sélectionnez dans la liste un jeu de pages existant auquel lier le plan d'imposition. Sélectionnez un jeu de pages avec le même nombre de positions de jeux de pages que le nouveau plan d'imposition.
Cette option n'est disponible que si le travail contient un jeu de de page existant. S'il existe un jeu de de page, cette option est sélectionnée automatiquement et le premier jeu de de page de la liste est sélectionné.
Remarque : lorsque vous sélectionnez cette option, les affectations de pages dans le nouveau plan d'imposition remplaceront les affectations de pages dans le jeu de pages existant. Si vous ne souhaitez pas remplacer les affectations de pages, sélectionnez l'option Créer un jeu de pages.

Zone Options

Utiliser un travail Preps existant

Sélectionnez cette option pour importer un travail Preps existant. Recherchez et sélectionnez le fichier .job.
Remarque : La sélection de la signature ne prend pas en charge l'importation des travaux Preps 6 avec les styles de reliure va-et-vient ou couper-et-empiler. Lorsque vous créez un nouvelle imposition , si vous sélectionnez Utiliser un travail Preps existant et si vous sélectionnez un travail Preps 6 avec un style de reliure va-et-vient ou couper-et-empiler, un message d'erreur apparaît. Vous avez le choix de sélectionner un autre fichier de travail ou d'utiliser une application d'imposition externe pour créer l'imposition.

Style de reliure

Sélectionnez le style de reliure à afficher, dans la zone Modèles disponibles ; uniquement les modèles d'imposition disposant d'un style de reliure identique.

Cahiers disponibles

Dans cette zone, accédez à l'imposition que vous souhaitez et sélectionnez-la. Après avoir cliqué dessus, cliquez sur Ajouter.
Vous pouvez également choisir Sélection auto pour que Prinergy sélectionne des impositions disposant d'un nombre de pages correct. Si vous choisissez l'option Sélection auto, Prinergy sélectionne en premier le cahier complet le plus grand dans le modèle pouvant accueillir le nombre de pages du travail. Les pages du travail circulent automatiquement dans ce cahier autant de fois que nécessaire. Ensuite, toutes les pages restantes circulent dans un cahier partiel du modèle, le cas échéant et en fonction de la position occupée dans la liste des cahiers sélectionnés. Sinon, les pages restantes passent dans le cahier entier et les pages blanches s'ajoutent automatiquement, selon les besoins.

Format de coupe

Affiche le format de coupe du cahier sélectionné.

Sheet Size (Taille de la feuille)

Affiche le format de la feuille du cahier sélectionné.

Périphérique

Sélectionnez le périphérique de sortie final sur lequel cette sortie sera imprimée.

Numéro de la première page dans le cahier suivant

Saisissez le numéro de la première page du cahier suivant.

Périphérique cible

Choisissez le périphérique auquel vous souhaitez associer l'ensemble des cahiers sélectionnés.
Lorsque vous associez un cahier à un périphérique, vous définissez différents attributs de sortie de configuration pour le cahier. Pour obtenir des informations sur les attributs de sortie de configuration que vous pouvez définir pour chaque périphérique, reportez-vous au guide de Preps.

Cahiers sélectionnés

Affiche les cahiers que vous avez sélectionnés. Vous pouvez aussi modifier la colonne Nombre de cahiers ainsi que la colonne Page.
Utilisez les boutons suivants pour modifier l'ordre des cahiers sélectionnés et supprimer les cahiers sélectionnés : Déplacer vers le haut, Déplacer vers le bas et Supprimer.
Utilisez le bouton Renuméroter pour renuméroter automatiquement les cahiers une fois réorganisés et redéfinir la première page. Ce bouton permet de remplacer tout numéro verrouillé.

Gradation des petits fonds (Glissement)

Saisissez la valeur de gradation des petits fonds que vous souhaitez appliquer pour compenser le glissement de la page. Les valeurs positives déplacent la zone d'image vers le bord de reliure de la page ; les valeurs négatives éloignent l'image du bord de reliure de la page. Vous pouvez indiquer une valeur Interne ou Externe, ou bien les deux.

Valeur Interne

• • • Pour les modèles de reliure parfaite ou va-et-vient, la valeur Interne s'applique aux pages les plus centrales de chaque cahier. Les valeurs spécifiées s'appliquent aux plus grands cahiers du travail. Pour les cahiers plus petits, elle est réduite, de manière à ce que tous les cahiers correspondent après reliure.
    • Pour le modèle en piqûre à cheval, la valeur Interne s'applique aux pages les plus centrales du livre.

Valeur Externe

• • • En correspondance avec les règles de valeur Interne, la valeur Externe s'applique aux pages les plus externes.

Les valeurs de gradation des petits fonds se répartissent uniformément dans les pages restantes (en fonction du nombre total de pages et du style de reliure du modèle).
Informations de base : le glissement de page survient lorsqu'un cahier est plié et lorsque la zone d'image des pages intérieures d'un cahier s'étend légèrement au-delà de la zone d'image des pages extérieures. Le nombre de pliages et l'épaisseur du papier ont une incidence sur la valeur du glissement. Dans les travaux reliés sans couture, le glissement est limité aux pages de chaque cahier individuel. Dans les travaux en piqûre à cheval, chaque cahier plié est placé à l'intérieur d'un autre cahier plié, ce qui fait que le cahier interne s'étend légèrement au-delà du cahier à l'intérieur duquel il est placé.

Calcul des valeurs de gradation des petits fonds

Calculez la valeur de gradation des petits fonds à appliquer pour compenser le glissement dans un travail. Pour calculer cette valeur, il existe deux méthodes : utiliser une formule approximative et utiliser la méthode exacte.

Formule approximative : (nombre de feuilles / 4 ) x épaisseur du stock papier

Remarque :  la valeur utilisée pour le nombre de feuilles dépend du type de reliure :

• • dans le cas d'une relire parfaite, elle fait référence aux pages par cahier ;
  • Dans le cas d'une reliure en piqûre à cheval, elle fait référence aux pages par livre entier.

La valeur de l'épaisseur du papier se mesure en microns. Vous pouvez utiliser un micromètre pour la déterminer ou utiliser la valeur donnée par le fournisseur de papier.

Méthode exacte :

1. 1. 1. Créer une maquette de pliage en utilisant le même type de papier et le même équipement de pliage que vous prévoyez d'utiliser pour le travail.
      2. Mesurez l'importance du glissement avec un instrument précis.
      3. Mesurez la différence entre le bord extérieur (face) de la page située le plus à l'extérieur et le bord extérieur de la page située le plus à l'intérieur.

Ensuite, appliquez les valeurs de gradation des petits fonds

1. 1. 1. Dans la boîte de dialogue Nouvelle imposition, sélectionnez Sélection d'un cahier Prinergy puis choisissez OK.
      2. Dans la boîte de dialogue Détails de la nouvelle imposition, entrez les valeurs de gradation des petits fonds interne et/ou externe.

Marges de coupe par défaut

Saisissez la valeur par défaut des marges de fond perdu, qui correspond à la distance occupée par le fond perdu sur toutes les faces et qui s'étend au-delà du cadre de rognage, sur toutes les pages. En l'absence de valeur spécifiée, Prinergy n'applique aucune marge de fond perdu.

Remarque : Les fonds perdus sont automatiquement coupés au niveau des lignes de pliage de marge intérieure.
Si la taille de la feuille d'impression réelle est physiquement inférieure à la taille définie, vous pouvez réduire la valeur par défaut de la marge de fond perdu, afin d'éviter le rognage sur la bordure arrière de la feuille. De même, il est judicieux d'augmenter la valeur des marges de fond perdu dans le cas où un travail présente un glissement important à cause d'un papier épais, pour compenser la gradation des petits fonds qui déplace la zone de l'image de l'intérieur du cahier vers la reliure.

Remarque : l'unité de mesure est spécifiée dans la boîte de dialogue Préférences.

此选项仅在选择创建新的页面顺序时可用。

使用现有页面顺序

将新的拼版方案链接到作业中的现有页面顺序。选择此选项，并从列表中选择拼版方案将要链接到的现有页面顺序。请选择与新的拼版方案具有相同页面顺序位置数的页面顺序。
该选项只有在作业中包含现有页面顺序时才可用。如果有现有页面顺序，则将自动选择此选项，且选中列表中的第一个页面顺序。
注： 选择此选项后，新的拼版方案中的页面分配都将会替换现有页面顺序中的页面分配。如果不想替换页面顺序分配，可选择创建新的页面顺序。

选项区域

使用现有 Preps 作业

选择此选项以导入现有的 Preps 作业。浏览至并选择 .job 文件。
注： "帖选择"不支持导入具有双联装订样式或单联装订样式的 Preps 6 作业。创建新的拼版时，如果选择使用现有 Preps 作业并选择具有双联装订样式或单联装订样式的 Preps 6 作业，将显示错误消息。您可以选择其他作业文件或使用外部拼版应用程序创建拼版。

装订样式

选择要显示的装订样式之后，可用模板区域只显示具有该装订样式的拼版模板。

可用帖

从此区域浏览并选择需要的拼版。单击期望的拼版，然后单击添加。
或者，单击自动选择使印能捷选择可提供正确页数的拼版。选中自动选择之后，印能捷首先选择模板中可容纳作业中页数的最大完整帖。作业页面会根据需要多次自动通过该帖，如果模板中有部分帖可用，则剩余页面将根据部分帖在所选帖列表中的位置通过模板中的部分帖进行处理。如果没有部分帖可用，剩余页面会通过整帖依次处理，而空白页面会根据需要自动添加到列表中。

净尺寸

显示所选帖的净尺寸。

印张大小

显示所选帖的印张尺寸。

设备

选择最后印刷该输出的最终输出设备。

下一帖的第一个页号

键入希望下一个帖起始的第一个页面编号。

目标设备

选择希望与所有选定帖相关联的设备。
将帖与设备相关联时，需要设置帖的各种配置输出属性。有关每个设备可设置的配置输出属性的信息，请参见 Preps 指南。

所选帖

显示已经选中的帖。您还可以编辑帖编号列和页面列。
使用以下按钮修改选定贴顺序和删除选定贴：上移、下移和删除。
在重新排列帖并复位起始页后，单击重新编号按钮可以对帖自动重新编号。此按钮操作将覆盖任何锁定的编号。

白边（扩散）

键入为补偿页面爬出所应用的白边的量。如果值为正，则将图像区域向页面装订边缘移动；如果值为负，则将图像向页面装订边缘反方向移动。可以指定内部量或外部量，也可同时指定两者。

内部量

• • • 对于胶订或双联模板,内部量应用于每个帖最里面的页面。指定的量应用于作业中最大的帖，任何较小帖的白边量按比例放松，使得所有帖装订后尺寸匹配。
    • 对于骑马订模板，内部量应用于书最里面的页面。

外部量

• • • 与内部量规则相对应，外部量应用于最外边的页面。

（根据总页面数和模板装订样式）白边量被均匀地分配到剩余的页面。
背景：如果印贴折叠并且帖的内部页面的图像区域稍微超出外部页面的图像区域，便发生了页面爬出。爬出量受到折页数和纸张厚度影响。在胶订作业中，爬出被限制在每个单个帖的页面。在骑马订作业中，因为每个折叠的帖都位于另一个折叠的帖内部，这导致内帖稍微超出所在帖的范围。

计算白边量

计算作业中补偿爬出的白边量。计算白边量有两种方法：一种是使用近似公式，另一种是使用精确方法。

近似公式：（印张数量 / 4 ) x 纸张厚度

注： 所使用的印页数量的值取决于装订类型：

• • • 如果是胶订，则指每帖的页数
    • 如果是骑马订，则是每本书的页数

纸张厚度的值以微米计。您可以使用千分尺来度量它，或使用纸张供应商提供的度量值。

精确的方法：

      2. 用精确的工具测出扩散量。

接下来，应用白边量

1. 1. 1. 在新建拼版对话框中，选择印能捷帖选择，然后选择确定。
      2. 在新建拼版详细信息对话框中，键入内外白边量。

溢出页边空白默认设置

键入溢出页边空白的默认尺寸，即在所有页面上希望溢出溢出页面净尺寸框的距离。如果没有指定溢出页面空白，则印能捷不会应用溢出页面空白。
注： 溢出会自动在页间距折叠行上被裁减掉。
如果实际印张短于定义的尺寸，则需要减少溢出页边空白默认值，以防止溢出掉印张的反面边缘。如果作业因为纸张厚的关系有严重爬出，最好增加溢出页边空白，以补偿将内帖的图像区域朝装订方向移动的任何白边。
注： 测量单位在"首选项"对话框中指定。

Name des Ausschießschemas

Wählen Sie diese Option aus, und wählen Sie in der Liste eine vorhandene Seitenfolge aus, mit der das Ausschießschema verknüpft werden soll. Optionen, Bereich

Vorhandenen Preps-Job verwenden

Wählen Sie diese Option aus, um einen vorhandenen Preps-Job zu importieren. Suchen Sie die .job-Datei, und wählen Sie sie aus.
Anmerkung: Die Signaturauswahl unterstützt nicht das Importieren von Preps 6-Jobs mit der Bindungsart „Kommen und Gehen" oder „Schneiden und Stapeln". Wenn Sie beim Erstellen eines neuen Ausschießschemas die Option Vorhandenen Preps-Job verwenden wählen und einen Preps 6-Job mit der Bindungsart „Kommen und Gehen" oder „Schneiden und Stapeln" auswählen, wird eine Fehlermeldung ausgegeben. Sie können eine andere Job-Datei auswählen oder das Ausschießschema mit einer externen Ausschieß-Software erstellen.

Bindungsart

Wählen Sie die Bindungsart aus, um im Bereich Verfügbare Vorlagen nur die Ausschießvorlagen mit derselben Bindungsart anzuzeigen.

Verfügbare Signaturen

In diesem Bereich können Sie zum gewünschten Ausschießschema navigieren und es auswählen. Nachdem Sie auf das gewünschte Ausschießschema geklickt haben, klicken Sie auf Hinzufügen.
Sie können auch auf Automatische Auswahl klicken, damit Prinergy das Ausschießschema auswählt, das die richtige Seitenzahl liefert. Bei Automatische Auswahl wählt Prinergy zunächst die größte vollständige Signatur in der Vorlage aus, die die Seitenzahl des Jobs aufnehmen kann. Die Jobseiten werden automatisch so oft wie nötig auf diese Signatur aufgeteilt. Anschließend werden die übrigen Seiten auf eine Teilsignatur in der Vorlage aufgeteilt, sofern eine solche verfügbar ist und in Abhängigkeit von ihrer Position in der Signaturliste. Andernfalls fließen die verbliebenen Seiten durch die gesamte Signatur, und es werden nach Bedarf automatisch Leerseiten hinzugefügt.

Endformat

Zeigt die Beschnittgröße der ausgewählten Signatur an.

Bogenformat

Zeigt das Bogenformat der ausgewählten Signatur an.

Gerät

Wählen Sie das endgültige Ausgabegerät aus, auf dem die Ausgabe erfolgen soll.

Erste Seitennummer in der nächsten Signatur

Geben Sie die erste Seitennummer ein, bei der die nächste Signatur beginnen soll.

Zielgerät

Wählen Sie das Gerät aus, dem Sie alle ausgewählten Signaturen zuordnen möchten.
Wenn Sie eine Signatur einem Gerät zuordnen, legen Sie verschiedene Ausgabeattribute der Signaturkonfiguration fest. Weitere Informationen über die Konfiguration von Ausgabeattributen für einzelne Geräte finden Sie im Preps-Handbuch.

Ausgewählte Signaturen

Zeigt die ausgewählten Signaturen an. Sie können auch die Spalten Signaturnummer und Seite bearbeiten.
Mit den folgenden Schaltflächen können Sie die ausgewählte Signaturreihenfolge ändern und ausgewählte Signaturen löschen: Nach oben, Nach unten und Löschen.
Mithilfe der Schaltfläche Neu nummerieren können Sie die Signaturen nach dem Ändern der Anordnung neu nummerieren und die Startseite zurücksetzen. Diese Schaltfläche überschreibt alle gesperrten Nummern.

Seitenverdrängung (Bundzuwachs)

Geben Sie den Betrag der Seitenverdrängung ein, um den Bundzuwachs auszugleichen. Positive Werte verschieben den Bildbereich in Richtung des Bindungsrands der Seite, und negative Werte verschieben das Bild vom Bindungsrand der Seite weg. Sie können einen Betrag für Innen und für Außen angeben.

Wert Innen

• • • Bei der Vorlage für die Klebebindung oder für Kommen und Gehen wird der Wert „Innen" auf die innersten Seiten der einzelnen Signaturen angewendet. Die angegebenen Werte werden auf die größten Signaturen des Jobs angewendet, und die Seitenverdrängung aller kleineren Signaturen wird herunterskaliert, damit die Signaturen nach dem Binden gleichmäßig sind.
    • Bei der Vorlage für die Rückstichheftung wird der Wert „Innen" auf die innersten Seiten des Buches angewendet.

Wert Außen

• • • Der Wert „Außen" gilt entsprechend den Regeln für den Wert „Innen" für die äußersten Seiten.

Die Werte für die Seitenverdrängung werden gleichmäßig auf die übrigen Seiten aufgeteilt (basierend auf der Anzahl Seiten und der Bindungsart der Vorlage).
Hintergrundinformationen: Bundzuwachs tritt auf, wenn eine Signatur gefalzt wird und der Bildbereich der inneren Seiten einer Signatur leicht über den Bildbereich der äußeren Seiten hinausragt. Der Umfang des Bildzuwachses hängt von der Anzahl der Falzungen und der Papierdicke ab. Bei Klebebindungsjobs ist der Zuwachs auf die Seiten der einzelnen Signaturen begrenzt. Bei Rückstichheftungsjobs wird jede gefalzte Signatur in eine andere gefalzte Signatur gelegt, sodass die innere Signatur etwas weiter herausragt als die Signatur, in die sie eingelegt wurde.

Berechnen von Seitenverdrängungswerten

Berechnen Sie den Betrag der Seitenverdrängung, um den bei einem Job auftretenden Bundzuwachs auszugleichen. Die Seitenverdrängungswerte können nach zwei verschiedenen Methoden berechnet werden: mit einer Annäherungsformel und mit der exakten Methode.

Annäherungsformel: (Anzahl Bogen/4) x Materialstärke

Anmerkung: Der Wert, den Sie für die Anzahl Bogen einsetzen, hängt von der Bindungsart ab:

• • • Bei Klebebindung bezieht sich der Wert auf die Seiten pro Signatur.
    • Bei Rückstichheftung bezieht sich der Wert auf die Seiten pro Buch.

Der Wert für die Materialstärke wird in Mikrometer gemessen. Sie können den Wert mit einem Mikrometer bestimmen oder den angegebenen Messwert des Papierherstellers verwenden.

Genaue Methode:

1. 1. 1. Erstellen Sie unter Verwendung des gleichen Papiertyps und des gleichen Falzgeräts, das für den Job verwendet wird, ein Falzmuster.
      2. Messen Sie den Bundzuwachs mit einem Präzisionswerkzeug.
      3. Messen Sie die Differenz zwischen der Außenkante (vorne) der äußersten Seite und der Außenkante der innersten Seite.

Wenden Sie als Nächstes die Werte für die Seitenverdrängung an.

1. 1. 1. Wählen Sie im Dialogfeld Neues Ausschießschema die Option Prinergy-Signaturauswahl aus, und wählen Sie dann OK aus.
      2. Geben Sie im Dialogfeld Neue Ausschießschemadetails die inneren und/oder äußeren Seitenverdrängungswerte an.

Standard-Anschnittrand

Geben Sie die Standard-Abschnittränder ein, die für sämtliche Seiten den Abstand des Beschnitts an allen Rändern des Seitenbeschnittrahmens darstellen. Prinergy wendet nur dann einen Abschnittrand an, wenn dieser angegeben wurde.

 Anmerkung: Die Anschnitte werden automatisch an den Stegfalzlinien abgeschnitten.
Sie können den Standard-Abschnittrand verringern, wenn die Druckmaschine kürzer als die definierte Größe ist, um zu verhindern, dass der hintere Rand des Bogens abgeschnitten wird. Es wird auch empfohlen, die Abschnittränder zu vergrößern, wenn bei einem Job durch dicke Materialien ein Zuwachs auftritt, um die Seitenverdrängung auszugleichen, die den Bildbereich der inneren Signatur zur Bindung hin verschiebt.

Anmerkung: Die Maßeinheit wird im Dialogfeld „Voreinstellungen" festgelegt.

ページ セットの新規作成

次の折丁を開始する、最初のページ番号を入力します。

出力先デバイス

選択したすべての折丁を関連付けるデバイスを選択します。
折丁をデバイスに関連付ける際には、折丁のさまざまな設定の出力属性を設定します。各デバイスに対して設定できる出力属性についての詳細は、Preps ガイドを参照してください。

選択した折丁

選択した折丁が表示されます。また、折丁インデックスとページ列は編集することができます。
選択した折丁の順序を変更したり折丁を削除するには、上へ移動、下へ移動、および削除ボタンを使用します。
折丁を再配置して開始ページをリセットした後にページ番号更新ボタンをクリックすると、折丁の番号が自動的に更新されます。このボタンをクリックすると、ロックされているすべての番号が上書きされます。

ページずらし（クリープ）

ページずらしの量は、ページの総数およびテンプレートの綴じ型式に基づき、残りのページに均等に分散されます。
機能の説明：ページのクリープは折丁が折られる際に発生し、折丁の内側のページの画像領域は、外側のページの画像領域より若干外側にずれます。ずれる幅は、折る回数と紙の厚さによって異なります。平綴じのジョブでは、クリープは各折丁内でのみ生じます。中綴じのジョブでは各折丁が内側を中心に重ねてから折られるため、内側の折丁は外側の折丁より少し外にはみ出します。

ページずらしの量の計算

ジョブのクリープを補正するための、ページずらしの量を計算します。ページずらしの量を計算するには、概算値を使用する方法と厳密な測定方法を使用する方法の 2 つがあります。

概算値：（シート数÷4）×用紙の厚さ

注: 裁ち幅は、ドブのノドでは自動的に切り落とされます。
実際のシートの長さが設定よりも短い場合には、裏面の端が切り落とされることのないように、デフォルトの裁ち幅を減らすことができます。また、厚みのある用紙を使用した場合に生じるずれを補正するために、綴じの中心に近い折丁の画像領域を綴じの内側にずらす目的で、裁ち幅を増やすことをお勧めします。
注: 単位は、［環境設定］ダイアログ ボックスで指定されています。

Crear grupo de páginas

Seleccione esta opción para crear un nuevo conjunto de páginas en Workshop que esté basado en el plan de imposición nuevo.
De manera predeterminada, el conjunto de páginas recibe el mismo nombre que el plan de imposición, aunque puede cambiarlo en el cuadro Nombre.

Nombre

Prefijo

Número de páginas

Número de páginas que componen el conjunto de páginas. Escriba el número de páginas en este cuadro y el sistema actualizará de forma dinámica el cuadro Desde. Como alternativa, puede dejar que el sistema calcule de forma automática el número de páginas a partir de los cuadros Hasta y Desde.
Esta opción sólo esta disponible cuando se selecciona Crear conjunto de páginas.

Desde

El número de posición del primer conjunto de páginas. Puede cambiar el número si lo desea.
Esta opción sólo esta disponible cuando se selecciona Crear conjunto de páginas.

Para

El número de posición del último conjunto de páginas. Puede cambiar el número si lo desea. El sistema actualiza de forma dinámica el cuadro Número de páginas.
Esta opción sólo esta disponible cuando se selecciona Crear conjunto de páginas.

Usar conjunto de páginas existente

Crea un vínculo entre el plan de nueva imposición y un conjunto de páginas existente en el trabajo. Seleccione esta opción y, en la lista, seleccione un conjunto de páginas existente al que se vinculará el plan de imposición. Seleccione un conjunto de páginas con el mismo número de posiciones de conjunto de páginas que el plan de imposición nuevo.
Esta opción solo está disponible cuando el trabajo contiene un conjunto de páginas existente. Si hay un conjunto existente de páginas, esta opción se selecciona automáticamente y el primer conjunto de páginas de la lista es el que se selecciona.
Nota: Al seleccionar esta opción, las asignaciones de página del nuevo plan de imposición sobrescribirán las asignaciones de página del conjunto de páginas existente. Si no desea sobrescribir las asignaciones de los conjuntos de páginas, seleccione en su lugar la opción Crear conjunto de páginas.

Usar trabajo Preps existente

Seleccione esta opción para importar un trabajo Preps existente. Desplácese hasta el archivo .job y selecciónelo.
Nota: La selección de pliego no admite la importación de trabajos de Preps 6 con estilos de encuadernación de ida y vuelta ni de cortar y apilar. A la hora de crear una imposición nueva, si selecciona Usar trabajo de Preps existente y selecciona un trabajo de Preps 6 con un estilo de encuadernación de ida y vuelta o de cortar y apilar, se muestra un mensaje de error. Estilo de encuadernación

Seleccione el estilo de encuadernación que se debe mostrar en el área Plantillas disponibles (sólo podrá seleccionar aquellas plantillas de imposición con el mismo estilo de encuadernación).

Pliegos disponibles

Acceda a la imposición que desee desde esta área y selecciónela. Una vez que haya hecho clic en la imposición deseada, haga clic en Agregar.
De manera alternativa, haga clic en Selección automática para que Prinergy seleccione imposiciones que proporcionen el número correcto de páginas. Con la selección automática, Prinergy selecciona en primer lugar el pliego completo de mayor tamaño en la plantilla capaz de albergar el número de páginas del trabajo. Las páginas del trabajo pasan automáticamente por el pliego las veces que haga falta. A continuación, las páginas restantes pasan por un pliego parcial en el trazado, siempre y cuando esté disponible y dependiendo de la posición en la lista de pliegos seleccionada. Si no, las páginas restantes pasan por el pliego completo y las páginas en blanco se agregan automáticamente, en caso necesario.

Tamaño de corte

Cuando asocia un pliego a un dispositivo, se definen varios atributos de salida de configuración para el pliego. Para obtener información sobre los atributos de salida de configuración que se pueden definir para cada dispositivo, consulte la guía de Preps.

Pliegos seleccionados

Muestra los pliegos que se hayan seleccionado. También puede editar la columna Número de firma y la columna Página.
Utilice los siguientes botones para modificar el orden de pliegos seleccionados y eliminarlos: Subir, Bajar y Eliminar.
Utilice el botón Volver a numerar para volver a numerar automáticamente los pliegos después de reorganizarlos y de restablecer la página de inicio. Este botón anula los números bloqueados.

Compensación (avance lento)

Escriba la cantidad de compensación que desee aplicar para corregir el avance lento de la página. Los valores positivos mueven el área de imagen hacia el borde de encuadernación de la página, mientras que los valores negativos mueven la imagen lejos del borde de encuadernación de la página. Puede especificar una cantidad para el campo Interno, otra para el campo Externo para o ambos.

Cantidad del campo Interno

• • • En el caso de plantillas de encuadernación sin cosido o de encuadernación de ida y vuelta, la cantidad del campo Interno se aplica a las páginas situadas más hacia dentro de cada pliego. Las cantidades especificadas se aplicarán a los pliegos más grandes del trabajo. Se reducirá la proporción de la compensación en los pliegos de menor tamaño, de manera que todos los pliegos coincidan entre sí después de la encuadernación.
    • En plantillas de cosido a galápago, la cantidad en el campo Interno se aplicará a las páginas situadas más hacia dentro del libro.

Cantidad del campo Externo

• • • En correspondencia con las reglas de la cantidad especificada en Interno, la cantidad en Externo se aplicará a las páginas más exteriores.

Las cantidades de compensación se distribuyen de manera uniforme en las páginas restantes (basadas en el número total de páginas y en el estilo de encuadernación de plantillas).
En segundo plano: el avance lento de la página se produce cuando un pliego se dobla y el área de imagen de las páginas interiores de un pliego se extiende un poco más allá del área de imagen de las páginas exteriores. La cantidad de avance lento se ve afectada por el número de pliegues y por el grosor del papel. En trabajos de encuadernación sin cosido, esta desviación se limita a las páginas de cada pliego individual. En trabajos de encuadernación de cosido a galápago, se van colocando unos pliegos doblados dentro de otros, con lo que el pliego interior se extiende un poco más lejos que el pliego dentro del cual está colocado.

Cálculo de las cantidades de compensación

Calcule la cantidad de compensación para corregir el avance lento de un trabajo. Existen dos métodos para calcular las cantidades de compensación: usando una fórmula aproximada y el método exacto.

Fórmula aproximada: (número de hojas / 4) x grosor del material

Nota: El valor que use para el número de hojas dependerá del tipo de encuadernación:

• • • En el caso de la encuadernación sin cosido, hace referencia a las páginas por pliego
    • En el caso de la encuadernación con cosido a galápago, a las páginas por libro completo.

El valor del grosor del material se mide en micras. Puede usar un micrómetro para determinar esta medida o utilizar el valor proporcionado por el proveedor de papel.

Método exacto:

1. 1. 1. Realice un ensayo de plegado utilizando el mismo tipo de papel y el mismo equipo de plegado que tenga previsto usar para el trabajo.

Margen de sangrado predeterminado

Nota: Los sangrados se cortan automáticamente en las líneas de pliegue de los márgenes de encuadernación.
Es posible que desee disminuir el margen de sangrado predeterminado si la hoja de impresión real tiene un tamaño físico menor que el tamaño definido para impedir que salga por el borde posterior de la hoja. Además, es una buena idea aumentar los márgenes de sangrado si un trabajo tiene un avance lento acusado debido a que el material es grueso con objeto de corregir cualquier compensación que mueva el área de la imagen del pliego interior hacia el margen de encuadernación.

Imposition Name

Populates with the imposition name you typed in the New Imposition dialog box.

Create New Page Set

Select this option to create a new page set in Workshop that is based on the new imposition plan.
By default, the page set is given the same name as the imposition plan, although you can change its name in the Name box.

Name

Displays the name of the page set. You can change the name as desired.
This option is available only when you select Create New Page Set.

Prefix

Displays the letter that will be used to identify the page positions in the new page set. You can change the prefix by typing up to five alphanumeric characters. The prefix must not end with a number.
This option is available only when you select Create New Page Set.

Number of Pages

The number of pages in the page set. Type the number of pages in this box and the system will dynamically update the From box. Alternatively, you can let the system automatically calculate the number of pages based on the To and From boxes.
This option is available only when you select Create New Page Set.

From

The first page set position number. You can change the number as desired.
This option is available only when you select Create New Page Set.

To

The last page set position number. You can change the number as desired. The system dynamically updates the Number of Pages box.
This option is available only when you select Create New Page Set.

Use Existing Page Set

Links the new imposition plan to an existing page set in the job. Select this option and, from the list, select an existing page set to which the imposition plan will be linked. Select a page set with the same number of page set positions as the new imposition plan.
This option is available only when the job contains an existing page set. If there is an existing page set, this option is selected automatically and the first page set in the list is selected.
Note: When you select this option, the page assignments in the new imposition plan will overwrite the page assignments in the existing page set. If you do not want to overwrite the page set assignments, select Create New Page Set instead.

Options area

Use existing Preps Job

Select to import an existing Preps job. Browse to and select the .job file.
Note: Signature Selection does not support import of Preps 6 jobs with come-and-go or cut-and-stack binding styles. When creating a new imposition , if you select Use existing Preps job and select a Preps 6 jobs with a come-and-go or cut-and-stack binding style, an error message appears. You have the choice of selecting a different job file or using an external imposition application to create the imposition.

Binding Style

Select the binding style to show in the Available Templates area, only those imposition templates with the same binding style.

Available Signatures

Navigate to and select the imposition that you want from this area. Once you have clicked the desired imposition, click Add.
Alternatively, click Auto Select to have Prinergy select impositions that provide the correct number of pages. With Auto Select, Prinergy first selects the largest full signature in the template that can accommodate the number of pages in the job. The job pages automatically flow through that signature as many times as needed, and then any remaining pages flow through a partial signature in the template, if available and depending on its position in the selected signatures list. If not, the remaining pages flow through the full signature and blank pages are automatically added, as needed.

Trim Size

Displays the trim size of the selected signature.

Sheet Size

Displays the sheet size of the selected signature.

Device

Select the final output device on which this output is eventually to be printed.

First Page Number in Next Signature

Type the first page number that you want the next signature to start at.

Target Device

Select the device to which you want to associate all selected signatures.
When you associate a signature with a device, you are setting various configuration output attributes for the signature. For information about configuration output attributes that you can set for each device, see the Preps Guide.

Selected Signatures

Displays the signatures that you have selected. You can also edit the Signature Number column and the Page column.
Use the following buttons to modify the selected signature order and delete selected signatures: Move Up, Move Down, and Delete.
Use the Renumber button to automatically renumber the signatures after you rearrange them and reset the starting page. This button overrides any locked numbers.

Shingling (Creep)

Type the amount of shingling that you want to apply in order to compensate for page creep. Positive values move the image area toward the binding edge of the page; negative values move the image away from the binding edge of the page. You can specify either an Inner amount or an Outer amount, or both.

Inner amount

• • • For perfect-bound or come-and-go template, the Inner amount is applied to the innermost pages of each signature. The specified amounts are applied to the largest signatures of the job, and shingling on any smaller signatures is scaled back so that all signatures match each other after binding.
    • For saddle-stitched template, the Inner amount is applied to the innermost pages of the book.

Outer amount

• • • Corresponding to the Inner amount rules, the Outer amount is applied to the outermost pages.

The shingling amounts are distributed evenly to the remaining pages (based on the total number of pages and the template binding style).

Background: Page creep occurs when a signature is folded and the image area of the inside pages of a signature extend slightly beyond the image area of the outside pages. The amount of creep is affected by the number of folds and by paper thickness. In perfect-bound jobs, creep is limited to the pages in each individual signature. In saddle-stitched jobs, each folded signature is placed inside another folded signature, causing the inside signature to extend a bit farther than the signature inside which it is placed.

Calculating Shingling Amounts

Calculate the amount of shingling to compensate for creep in a job. There are two methods of calculating shingling amounts: using an approximate formula, and using the exact method.
Approximate formula: (number of sheets / 4 ) x stock thickness
Note: The value you use for the number of sheets depends on the binding type:

• • • If perfect bound, this refers to pages per signature
    • If saddle-stitched, this is pages per entire book

The value of stock thickness is measured in microns. You can use a micrometer to determine this or use the measurement value provided by the paper supplier.
Exact method:

1. 1. 1. Make a folding dummy using the same kind of paper and the same folding equipment you plan to use for the job.
      2. Measure the amount of creep with a precise instrument.
      3. Measure the difference between the outer edge (face) of the outermost page and the outer edge of the innermost page.

Next, apply the shingling amounts

1. 1. 1. In the New Imposition dialog box, select Prinergy Signature Selection and select OK.
      2. In the New Imposition Details dialog box, type the inner and/or outer shingling amounts.

Bleed Margin Default

Type the default size of bleed margins which is the distance you want the bleed to extend on all sides beyond the page trim box for all pages. Prinergy will not apply a bleed margin if no bleed margin is specified.
Note: Bleeds are automatically cut off at the gutter fold lines.
You may want to decrease the bleed margin default if the actual press sheet is physically shorter than its defined size in order to prevent bleeding off the back edge of the sheet. Also, it is a good idea to increase bleed margins if a job has severe creep due to thick stock, in order to compensate for any shingling that moves the image area of the inner signature towards the binding.
Note: The unit of measurement is defined in the Preferences dialog box.
