This process template section determines the output resolution and how the system handles spot colors during publishing.

JTP

Select the job ticket processor (JTP) to use for rendering.
Note: You set up JTPs using Prinergy Administrator.

Device Resolutions

This list is available when an output device format is selected in the Output To list.
Select a resolution for the selected device in the list.

Resolution X

Available when the Device Resolutions box is unavailable.
Type a resolution value.

Resolution Y

Available when the Device Resolutions box is unavailable and mixed resolution values are allowed for the output format selected in the Output To list.
Type a resolution value.

Do Separations

Available when the output format selected in the Output To list supports separated output and DeviceCMYK is selected in the Color Model options.
Select if you want Prinergy to output separations. Clear this check box if you want Prinergy to output a single composite file.

Spot Color Handling

Determines how spot colors should be handled.
The list of values varies, depending on the output format selected from the Output To list.

• • Select Convert to process to convert spot colors to process colors.
    Note: When Convert to process is selected, Vector Overprint Handling (in the ColorConvert section) is automatically turned on to ensure the correct appearance of any overprinting spot colors.
  • Select Output separately to preserve spot colors on output.
  • Select Don't output to suppress output of spot colors.

Always Use Color Combiner to Convert Spots

This check box is available when Output Separations Handling is set to Convert separations to process.
If the input files contain overprinted spot colors, the Color Combiner, which is a plug-in to the renderer, will combine the layers and output the overprinted colors correctly.

When this check box is cleared, the renderer handles the conversion of spot colors to process colors if the following conditions exist:

• • Input files are composite.
  • All spot colors are set to opaque in the color database. (If a spot color is not in the color database, opaque is assumed.)

If the above conditions are not met, the Color Combiner will be used, even if the Always Use Color Combiner to Convert Spots check box is cleared.
Always select this check box.

Dielines Overprint Other Content

This check box is cleared and unavailable if the Do Separations check box is cleared and unavailable.
Select this check box to specify whether die lines overprint other content. Clear this check box if you do not want die lines to overprint other content.
The Dielines Overprint Other Content check box is available for the following outputs:

• • DCS Raster
  • Kodak Approval TIFF
  • LQS TIFF
  • VPS
  • Windows Bitmap

Antialiasing

Select this check box to enable anti-aliasing, and then in the at Ratio list, specify a ratio for anti-aliasing.
Anti-aliasing is a technique of improving the appearance of output by minimizing the "stair step" effect on rasterized output. It does so by rendering to a higher resolution than the intended output, and then downsampling to the intended output. This generates "averaged" pixels which softens the "stair step" effect on low-resolution output. The ratio value for anti-aliasing refers to the factor used to determine the intermediate resolution. A higher ratio results in higher quality, but can have an effect on output speed. For example, if the output is a 300 DPI 8-bit TIFF, and the anti-alias ratio is 4, Prinergy will render an intermediate output at 1200 DPI (4 x 300 DPI), and then downsample to the user-requested 300 DPI. Anti-aliasing is only available for 8-bit (256 shade) output.

Fail if font problems detected

Select this check box to fail the output process if a file has missing fonts.
Note: This feature is not available for vector outputs (PDF, PS2, PS3, EPS, DCS Vector, PDF/X-1a, PDF/X-3, CT/LW, and DELTA).

Ignore Embedded Fonts in Marks Files

Select this check box if you want Prinergy to ignore embedded fonts in a marks file and to look for the fonts in the system fonts folder.
Important: You must install the fonts in %ServerName%%AraxiHome%\AdobeExtreme\bin\fonts, or the output will fail.

Convert Text to Paths

This check box converts fonts to outlines before a file is RIPed.
This option was added in Prinergy 3.0 when the CPSI 3016 RIP was included with Prinergy. This option helped situations where the 3016 RIP failed to process the fonts on certain jobs.
This option has limited usefulness now, but is included as a potential workaround in rare cases where fonts are not rendered correctly by the RIP. It is not recommended that you enable this on on a permanent basis. When using this option for specific jobs, it is recommended that you ensure that both proofs and plates are output with this option.

Note that when you select the Convert Text to Paths check box, you will have text appear fatter on low-resolution proof output. You can overcome this appearance problem by either:

• • Rendering to a higher resolution, if rendering to 1-bit output, such as Virtual Proofing System
  • Using anti-aliasing, if rendering to contone output

Note: This check box is only available for raster output formats (.VPS, .TIFF, and so on).

Overlay Versioned Content

This check box applies to Layered PDF Versioning. For information, see the Versioning chapter in this guide.

Anticrénelage

Activez/désactivez cette case à cocher pour activer/désactiver l'anticrénelage, puis choisissez un rapport d'anticrénelage dans la liste à l'échelle.
L'anticrénelage est une technique permettant d'améliorer l'aspect de la sortie en réduisant l'effet d'escalier sur la sortie rastérisée. Elle fonctionne en produisant un rendu d'une résolution supérieure à celle de la sortie prévue, puis en effectuant un sous-échantillonnage vers de la sortie prévue. Ceci génère des pixels "moyennés", ce qui adoucit l'effet d'escalier sur la sortie à basse résolution. La valeur de rapport pour l'anticrénelage fait référence au facteur utilisé pour déterminer la résolution intermédiaire. Un rapport plus élevé se traduit par une meilleure qualité, mais elle peut altérer la vitesse de sortie. Par exemple, si la sortie est de type 300 ppp TIFF 8 bits, et si le rapport d'anticrénelage est de 4, Prinergy rend une sortie intermédiaire à 1200 ppp (4 x 300 ppp), puis effectue le sous-échantillonnage aux 300 ppp demandés par l'utilisateur. L'anticrénelage n'est disponible que pour les sorties 8 bits (256 nuances).

Échec en cas de détection de problèmes de polices

Antialiasing

解像度の値を入力します。

分版する

出力先リストで選択されている出力形式が分版出力をサポートしていて、カラー モデルオプションでDeviceCMYKを選択した場合に使用可能です。
Prinergy で分版ファイルを出力する場合にオンにします。Prinergy でコンポジット ファイルを出力する場合は、このチェックボックスをオフにします。

スポット カラーの処理

スポット カラーの処理方法を定義します。
使用できるオプションは、出力先一覧から選択した出力形式によって異なります。

• スポット カラーをプロセス カラーに変換するには、プロセスに変換を選択します。
  注意：［プロセスに変換］が選択された場合、［カラー変換］セクションの［オーバープリント処理］が［ベクター］で自動的にオンになり、オーバープリントのスポット カラーがすべて正しく出力されるようになります。
• 個別に出力を選択すると、スポット カラーをそのまま出力します。
• 出力しないを選択すると、スポット カラーを出力しません。

スポット カラーの変換にカラー コンバイナを常に使用

このチェックボックスは、スポット カラーの処理がプロセスに変換に設定されている場合に使用できます。
入力ファイルにオーバープリントのスポット カラーが含まれる場合、レンダラのプラグインであるカラー コンバイナでレイヤーが合成され、オーバープリントのカラーを正しく出力します。
このチェックボックスをオフにすると、以下の状況の場合に、レンダラがスポット カラーのプロセス カラーへの変換を行います。

• 入力ファイルがコンポジットである。
• カラー データベースですべてのスポット カラーが不透明に設定されている（カラー データベースにスポット カラーが存在しない場合は、不透明と想定されます）。

上記に当てはまらない場合は、スポット カラーの変換にカラー コンバイナを常に使用チェックボックスがオフになっていても、カラー コンバイナが使用されます。

このチェックボックスは常にオンにしてください。

ダイライン（抜き型）で他のコンテンツをオーバープリント

分版するチェックボックスがオフの場合、このチェックボックスを選択することはできません。
このチェックボックスの選択により、ダイラインで他のコンテンツをオーバープリントするかどうかを指定します。ダイラインで他のコンテンツをオーバープリントしない場合は、このチェックボックスをオフにします。
ダイライン（抜き型）で他のコンテンツをオーバープリントチェックボックスは次の出力に対してのみ使用できます。

• DCS ラスター
• Kodak Approval TIFF
• LQS TIFF
• VPS
• Windows ビットマップ

アンチエイリアス

このチェックボックスをオンにしてアンチエイリアスを有効にし、比率リストでアンチエイリアスの比率を指定します。
アンチエイリアスとは、ラスタライズされた出力に「ギザギザ」が生じる影響を最小限に抑えることによって、出力状態を向上させる技術です。目的の出力より高い解像度でレンダリングして、目的の出力へダウンサンプリングすることによって実現しています。これにより、低解像度の画像がギザギザになる影響を、ピクセルの平均化によって低減します。アンチエイリアスの比率の値は、中間解像度を決定するための係数として使用されます。比率を高くするほど品質が高くなりますが、出力速度が影響を受けます。たとえば、出力が 300 DPI の 8-bit TIFF の場合、アンチエイリアスの比率を 4 にすると、Prinergy は中間出力を 1200 DPI（4 x 300 DPI）でレンダリングし、ユーザー指定の 300 DPI にダウンサンプリングします。アンチエイリアスを使用できるのは 8-bit（256 諧調）の出力のみです。

フォントに問題がある場合にエラー

ファイルのフォントが見つからない場合に出力プロセスをエラー終了するには、このチェックボックスを選択します。
注: この機能は、ベクター出力（PDF、PS2、PS3、EPS、DCS ベクター、PDF/X-1a、PDF/X-3、CT/LW、および DELTA）には使用できません。

マーク ファイルに埋め込まれたフォントを無視

Prinergy でマーク ファイルの埋め込みフォントを無視し、システム フォント フォルダでフォントの検索を行う場合は、このチェックボックスをオンにします。
重要: %ServerName%%AraxiHome%\AdobeExtreme\bin\fonts にフォントをインストールする必要があります。インストールしないと、出力でエラーが発生します。

テキストをパスに変換

このチェックボックスをオンにすると、ファイルの RIP 前にフォントがアウトライン化されます。
このオプションは、Prinergy 3.0 で CPSI 3016 RIP が Prinergy に搭載されたときに追加されました。このオプションは、特定のジョブでフォントの処理エラーが発生する 3016 RIP の問題に対応するためのものです。
現在このオプションはあまり使用されませんが、まれに RIP でフォントが正しくレンダリングされない場合の対応策として残されています。このオプションを常に有効にすることはお勧めしません。このオプションを特定のジョブで使用する場合は、必ずプルーフ出力とプレート出力の両方でこのオプションを使用することをお勧めします。

Seleccione esta opción si desea que Prinergy genere la salida de separaciones. Desactive esta casilla de verificación si desea que Prinergy genere la salida de un único archivo compuesto.

Gestión de colores planos

Determina la forma en que se deben gestionar los colores planos.
La lista de valores varía dependiendo del formato de salida seleccionado de la lista Salida en.

• Seleccione Convertir en proceso si desea convertir los colores planos en colores de proceso.
  Nota: Si la opción Convertir en proceso está seleccionada, Gestión de la sobreimpresión de vectores (en la sección ColorConvert) estará activada automáticamente para garantizar que todos los colores planos sobreimpresos tengan un aspecto correcto.
• Seleccione Generar salida por separado para conservar los colores planos en la salida.

Seleccione esta casilla de verificación para especificar si las líneas de troquelado deben sobreimprimir otro contenido. Desactive esta casilla de verificación si no desea que las líneas de troquelado sobreimpriman otro contenido.

Antialias

Active esta casilla de verificación para habilitar la función antialias y, a continuación, en la lista con la relación, especifique una relación de antialias.
El antialias es una técnica que permite mejorar el aspecto de la salida al minimizar el efecto "peldaño de escalera" en la salida rasterizada. Lo consigue procesando a una mayor resolución que la salida prevista y, a continuación, se reduce la resolución hasta lograr la salida prevista. Esto genera unos píxeles "de media" que atenúan el efecto "peldaño de escalera" en la salida a baja resolución. Esta opción tiene una utilidad limitada ahora, pero se incluye como posible solución en los pocos casos en los que las fuentes no se procesan correctamente mediante el proceso RIP. This process template section determines the output resolution and how the system handles spot colors during publishing.

JTP

Select the job ticket processor (JTP) to use for rendering.
Note: You set up JTPs using Prinergy Administrator.

Device Resolutions

This list is available when an output device format is selected in the Output To list.
Select a resolution for the selected device in the list.

Resolution X

Available when the Device Resolutions box is unavailable.
Type a resolution value.

Resolution Y

Available when the Device Resolutions box is unavailable and mixed resolution values are allowed for the output format selected in the Output To list.
Type a resolution value.

Do Separations

Available when the output format selected in the Output To list supports separated output and DeviceCMYK is selected in the Color Model options.
Select if you want Prinergy to output separations. Clear this check box if you want Prinergy to output a single composite file.

Spot Color Handling

Determines how spot colors should be handled.
The list of values varies, depending on the output format selected from the Output To list.

• • Select Convert to process to convert spot colors to process colors.
    Note: When Convert to process is selected, Vector Overprint Handling (in the ColorConvert section) is automatically turned on to ensure the correct appearance of any overprinting spot colors.
  • Select Output separately to preserve spot colors on output.
  • Select Don't output to suppress output of spot colors.

Always Use Color Combiner to Convert Spots

This check box is available when Output Separations Handling is set to Convert separations to process.
If the input files contain overprinted spot colors, the Color Combiner, which is a plug-in to the renderer, will combine the layers and output the overprinted colors correctly.

When this check box is cleared, the renderer handles the conversion of spot colors to process colors if the following conditions exist:

• • Input files are composite.
  • All spot colors are set to opaque in the color database. (If a spot color is not in the color database, opaque is assumed.)

If the above conditions are not met, the Color Combiner will be used, even if the Always Use Color Combiner to Convert Spots check box is cleared.
Always select this check box.

Dielines Overprint Other Content

This check box is cleared and unavailable if the Do Separations check box is cleared and unavailable.
Select this check box to specify whether die lines overprint other content. Clear this check box if you do not want die lines to overprint other content.
The Dielines Overprint Other Content check box is available for the following outputs:

• • DCS Raster
  • Kodak Approval TIFF
  • LQS TIFF
  • VPS
  • Windows Bitmap

Antialiasing

Select this check box to enable anti-aliasing, and then in the at Ratio list, specify a ratio for anti-aliasing.
Anti-aliasing is a technique of improving the appearance of output by minimizing the "stair step" effect on rasterized output. It does so by rendering to a higher resolution than the intended output, and then downsampling to the intended output. This generates "averaged" pixels which softens the "stair step" effect on low-resolution output. The ratio value for anti-aliasing refers to the factor used to determine the intermediate resolution. A higher ratio results in higher quality, but can have an effect on output speed. For example, if the output is a 300 DPI 8-bit TIFF, and the anti-alias ratio is 4, Prinergy will render an intermediate output at 1200 DPI (4 x 300 DPI), and then downsample to the user-requested 300 DPI. Anti-aliasing is only available for 8-bit (256 shade) output.

Fail if font problems detected

Select this check box to fail the output process if a file has missing fonts.
Note: This feature is not available for vector outputs (PDF, PS2, PS3, EPS, DCS Vector, PDF/X-1a, PDF/X-3, CT/LW, and DELTA).

Ignore Embedded Fonts in Marks Files

Select this check box if you want Prinergy to ignore embedded fonts in a marks file and to look for the fonts in the system fonts folder.
Important: You must install the fonts in %ServerName%%AraxiHome%\AdobeExtreme\bin\fonts, or the output will fail.

Convert Text to Paths

This check box converts fonts to outlines before a file is RIPed.
This option was added in Prinergy 3.0 when the CPSI 3016 RIP was included with Prinergy. This option helped situations where the 3016 RIP failed to process the fonts on certain jobs.
This option has limited usefulness now, but is included as a potential workaround in rare cases where fonts are not rendered correctly by the RIP. It is not recommended that you enable this on on a permanent basis. When using this option for specific jobs, it is recommended that you ensure that both proofs and plates are output with this option.

Note that when you select the Convert Text to Paths check box, you will have text appear fatter on low-resolution proof output. You can overcome this appearance problem by either:

• • Rendering to a higher resolution, if rendering to 1-bit output, such as Virtual Proofing System
  • Using anti-aliasing, if rendering to contone output

Note: This check box is only available for raster output formats (.VPS, .TIFF, and so on).
