Page History

This topic applies only when you are importing impositions. If you are importing a job, see Import process template (jobs).
Two types of process templates are available for importing: ImportAll and ImportJobIncremental. To import impositions use the ImportAll process template.

Import section

Select this check box to enable the Import section of the import process template.
It determines how Prinergy imports impositions, exported jobs, and exported job files.

JTP

Select a JTP to use for importing.
Note: You set up JTPs using Prinergy Administrator.

If Page Set Already Exists

Determines what happens if a page set with the same name already exists.
Note: When importing an imposition plan via a hot folder, choose any option except Keep existing page set and imposition.

The options are:

• • Fail import: Stops the import process.
  • Delete existing page set and imposition: Replaces the existing page set and imposition with the page set and imposition being imported.
  • Create alternate page set and imposition: Creates a new page set and links it to the imposition plan, without affecting the existing page set or its assignments. This is the default in the ImportAll process template.
  • Keep existing page set and create new imposition: Retains the original page set and links it to the new imposition. The imported and existing sets must have the same number of positions. Selecting this option enables the check boxes in the Page Sets Options area of the import process template.
  • Keep existing page set and imposition: Retains the existing page set and imposition. The imported and existing sets must have the same number of positions. This is the default in the ImportJobIncremental process template. Selecting this option enables the check boxes in the Page Sets Options area of the import process template.

Page Set Options

A set of check boxes that specify how to handle page assignments in an existing page set when the new imposition is linked to that page set. The check boxes are:

• • Existing assignments replaced by new assignments: Prinergy replaces the old page assignments with the new page assignments in the imported file. In the ImportIncremental process template, this check box is selected by default.
  • Existing assignments replaced by new unassignments: Prinergy removes page assignments from pages that are not assigned (blank) in the imported file. When this check box is selected, the other two check boxes in Page Set Options are automatically selected.
  • Existing unassigned replaced by new assignment: Prinergy retains existing assignments and applies any new assignments from the imported job or populated PJTF to any unassigned positions in the existing page set. This check box is always selected.

The check boxes are available only if the If Page Set Already Exists list is set to either Keep existing page set and create new imposition or Keep existing page set and imposition.
These check boxes are especially important when you want to manually assign pages to a page set and then link the page set to multiple imposition plans.

Set Initial Separations After Imposition Import

In the imposition software, you may inadvertently add marks that contain separations that are not present in the content of the refined pages.

• • Select this check box when you want Prinergy to ignore the additional separations in the marks.
  • Clear this check box when you want Prinergy to show the additional colors in the marks.

Important: Clear this check box if you are doing color mapping in the imposition software. Otherwise, Prinergy may ignore your color mapping changes.

Overwrite Existing Automated Page Assignment File

Select this check box if you want Prinergy to overwrite the existing APA file and use the assignments specified in the job you are importing.

Continue Job Import if CRC Error Found

Select this check box when you want Prinergy to skip any files with CRC errors without failing the import. The names of the files with errors are logged in the History view, so you can correct and reimport these files into the job.

Do Auto Page Assignment After Unpopulated Imposition Import

Select this check box when you want Prinergy to perform APA assignment and allow pages to be automatically assigned whether they have been refined before or after an imposition import.
Important: Do not select this check box unless you have an APA file with the assignments that you want applied to the selected page set. Any existing assignments are deleted if you have an empty or invalid APA file and this check box is selected.
If you clear this check box, pages can NOT be automatically assigned if they have been processed before an unpopulated imposition import (or before a page set is created).

Center Pages in Imposition

(For imposition imports only)
Specify the placement of each PDF page trim box (or media box) within its assigned imposition trim box during the job import.

The options are:

• • Honor Existing—preserves the existing placement of each PDF page (centered or not centered) when the job is imported.
  • Centered—each PDF page trim box is centered within its imposition trim box. You can then reassign pages to different positions without worrying about the image shifts caused by different trim box sizes on different PDF pages.
  • Not Centered—each PDF page trim box is positioned in the lower-left corner of its imposition trim box.

Signature ID Code area

Template

Type a series of tags such as %jobname<n>%%imposition<n>%%version<n>%%signature<n>%%numsections%.
This overrides the default settings specified in Administrator.

Number of sections per signatures in one imposition

Type the total number of sections in each signature. For example, if you import an imposition with five signatures and signatures 2 and 5 each contains two sections, enter 1,2,1,1,2.
This overrides the default settings specified in Administrator.

Normalize for PDF Marks File section

Select this check box to enable the Normalize for PDF Marks Files section of the import process template, which determines how Prinergy normalizes PDF marks files.

JTP

Select the job ticket processor you want to use for normalizing the marks files.
Note: You set up JTPs using Prinergy Administrator.

Remove Font XUIDs

XUID stands for extended unique ID, which is a font characteristic introduced with Normalizer 6.
Select this check box to remove font XUIDs if you are refining files that may be exported and ripped on systems that use the 3011 RIP (Prinergy 2.2.1.10 or earlier) or other older RIPs.
If left unchecked, the older RIP may crash in some circumstances.

Normalize for PostScript Marks Files section

Select this check box to enable the Normalize for PostScript Marks Files section of the import process template, which determines how Prinergy normalizes PostScript marks files.

JTP

Select the job ticket processor you want to use for normalizing the marks files.
Note: You set up JTPs using Prinergy Administrator.

Images

Do OPI Image Replacement

Select this check box to enable OPI, which replaces OPI comments with images from the defined search paths. Images can reside on any Windows NT server accessible on the network.
Note: Image search paths do not search subfolders, so be sure to add each subfolder specifically.

Fail on Missing Images

This check box applies only when OPI can't locate an image for the input file. You can select or clear this check box independently of the Do OPI Image Replacement check box.
Select this check box if you want Prinergy to fail the normalize process and not produce a PDF page.
Clear this check box if you want Prinergy to continue producing the PDF file with a missing image.

In either case Prinergy displays an error message or icon  in  Job Manager, in these locations:

• • • In the Active Processes pane.
    • In the Process Info dialog box.
    • On the History view.

Low Resolution Image Handling

Determines what Prinergy does when images are lower than the resolutions specified in the Of Contone Resolution Below and the Of Bitmap Resolution Below. The options are:

• • • Ignore low resolution images—does not display warning message and continues processing.
    • Warn for low resolution images—displays a warning message or icon , but continues processing.
    • Fail on low resolution images—stops processing and displays a warning message or icon . Prinergy produces a PDF covered by a large, black X.

Of Contone Resolution Below

Prinergy handles contone images with resolutions below this value with the action specified for low-resolution images in the Low Resolution Image Handling list.
This box is not available if Low Resolution Image Handling is set to Ignore low resolution images.

Of Bitmap Resolution Below

Prinergy handles bitmap images with resolutions below this value with the action specified for low-resolution images in the Low Resolution Image Handling list.
This box is not available if Low Resolution Image Handling is set to Ignore low resolution images.

Fonts

Remove Font XUIDs

XUID stands for extended unique ID, which is a font characteristic introduced with Normalizer 6.
Select this check box to remove font XUIDs if you are refining files that may be exported and ripped on systems that use the 3011 RIP (Prinergy 2.2.1.10 or earlier) or other older RIPs.
If this check box is cleared, the older RIP may crash in some circumstances.

Optimize for PostScript Marks Files section

Select this check box to enable the Optimize for PostScript Marks Files section of the import process template, which determines how Prinergy optimizes PostScript marks files.

JTP

Select a job ticket processor (JTP) to use for optimizing PostScript marks files.
Note: You set up JTPs using Prinergy Administrator.

Color Images

Resample

Select this check box to downsample images with a resolution above the value in the If Above box to the value set in the Down to box.
If you select the check box, select type of downsampling in the list. The options are:

• • • Average—provides faster but less accurate downsampling.
    • Bicubic—provides slower but more accurate downsampling.

The Resample check box under Color Images applies only to color images. The Resample check box under Grayscale Images applies only to grayscale images.

Down to

Type the lowest resolution to which Prinergy downsamples images. The recommended setting is double the lpi value. For example, 400 ppi for 200 lpi, 300 ppi for 150 lpi, 170 ppi for 85 lpi.
The Down to box in the Color Images area applies to color images. The Down to box in the Grayscale Images area applies to grayscale images.
Note: The Down to and the if Above options are linked by ratio. This ratio is stored as an integer in each process template. When you open a process template, Prinergy calculates the if Above value from the Down to value and the stored ratio. When you change the if Above value, the Down to value stays the same, but the system rounds the if Above value to the nearest integer, according to the ratio between the two options.

if Above

Type the minimum resolution an image must be for Prinergy to downsample it.
The if Above box under Color Images applies to color images. The if Above box under Grayscale Images applies to grayscale images.
Note: The Down to and the if Above options are linked by ratio. This ratio is stored as an integer in each process template. When you open a process template, Prinergy calculates the if Above value from the Down to value and the stored ratio. When you change the if Above value, the Down to value stays the same, but the system rounds the if Above value to the nearest integer, according to the ratio between the two options.

Compression

Select a compression format for compressing images. The options are:

• • • None—disables image compression.
    • JPEG (Lossy)—compresses images using a JPEG format.
    • ZIP (Lossless)—compresses images using the ZIP format.

The Compression list under Color Images applies to color images. The Compression list under Grayscale Images applies to grayscale images.

Quality

Applies only if the Compression list is set to JPEG (Lossy).
Select a level of compression. The compression level decreases as the quality level increases.
The Quality list under Color Images applies to color images. The Quality list under Grayscale Images applies to grayscale images.

Grayscale Images

Resample

Select this check box to downsample images with a resolution above the value in the If Above box to the value set in the Down to box.

Import Raw Imposition Files section

Profile

Select Default if you use Preps Integration and you want to import raw imposition files, which include:

• • • JDF stripping parameters (.jdf or .xml)
    • Preps .job files (from Preps or UpFront* software)

Do not select PrepPrinergy. This option is used by the internal Preps integration processes. (*UpFront is EOSL and no longer tested or supported).

Device

Select the final output device on which this output is eventually to be printed.

Output Signatures

All or Partial

Select All to import all signatures in the imposition, or select Partial to import only some of the signatures in the imposition.
If you are importing only some of the signatures complete the remaining controls in the Output Signatures box.

Range

Type the range of signatures that you want to import.
Use a dash to indicate a range of webs; follow each web range or individual web with a comma. For example, 1-7, 9, 12-14.

Sides

Select to import the Front, Back, or Front and Back of the selected objects.
For example if you are printing signatures and select Front, this control allows you to print all the front sides of the specified signatures.
If you are printing webs and select Front, this control allows you to print all the front sides of the specified webs.

Webs

Select All to import all webs or select Range to import only some of the webs.
If you are importing only some of the webs type the range of webs that you want to import in the Range box. Use a dash to indicate a range of webs; follow each web range or individual web with a comma. For example, 1-7, 9, 12-14.

JTP

Si le jeu de pages existe déjà

Détermine ce qui se passe si un jeu de pages portant le même nom existe déjà.
Remarque : Lorsque vous importez un plan d'imposition via un dossier actif, sélectionnez une option sauf Conserver le jeu de pages et l'imposition existants.
Les options disponibles sont les suivantes :

• Echec de l'importation :interrompt le processus d'importation.
• Supprimer le jeu de pages et l'imposition existants :remplace le jeu de pages et l'imposition existants par ceux importés.
• Créer un jeu de pages et une imposition :crée un jeu de pages et le lie au plan d'imposition, sans changer le jeu existant ou ses affectations. Il s'agit de l'option par défaut du modèle de processus Importer tout.
• Conserver le jeu de pages existant et créer une nouvelle imposition :Conserve le jeu de pages d'origine et le lie à la nouvelle imposition. Les jeux existants et importés doivent comporter le même nombre de positions de pages. Si vous sélectionnez cette option, les cases à cocher dans la zone Options de jeu de pages du modèle de processus d'importation sont activées.
• Conserver le jeu de pages et l'imposition existants :conserve le jeu de pages et l'imposition existants. Les jeux existants et importés doivent comporter le même nombre de positions de pages. Il s'agit de l'option par défaut du modèle de processus ImportJobIncremental. Si vous sélectionnez cette option, les cases à cocher dans la zone Options de jeu de pages du modèle de processus d'importation sont activées.

Options de jeu de pages

Série de cases à cocher déterminant la manière dont les affectations de pages d'un jeu existant sont traitées lors de la liaison d'une nouvelle imposition. Ces cases à cocher sont les suivantes :

• Affectations existantes remplacées par de nouvelles affectations : Prinergy remplace les anciennes affectations de pages par les nouvelles affectations de pages dans le fichier importé. Dans le modèle de processus ImportIncremental, cette case à cocher est activée par défaut.
• Affectations existantes remplacées par de nouvelles annulations d'affectation : Prinergy supprime les affectations de pages des pages qui ne sont pas affectées (vides) dans le fichier importé. Si cette case à cocher est activée, les deux autres cases du champ Options de jeu de pages sont automatiquement sélectionnées.
• Annulations d'affectation existantes remplacées par de nouvelles affectations : Prinergy conserve les affectations existantes et applique les nouvelles affectations provenant du travail importé ou du PJTF rempli à des positions non affectées dans le jeu de pages existant. Cette case à cocher est toujours activée.

Ces cases peuvent être cochées uniquement si la liste Si le jeu de pages existe déjà est définie sur Conserver le jeu de pages existant et créer une imposition ou Conserver le jeu de pages et l'imposition existants.
Il est particulièrement important d'activer ces cases à cocher lorsque vous voulez affecter manuellement des pages à un jeu de pages et le lier ensuite à plusieurs plans d'imposition.

Définir les sélections d'origine après importation de l'imposition

Dans le logiciel d'imposition, vous pourriez ajouter par inadvertance des repères contenant des sélections absentes du contenu des pages raffinées.

• Cochez cette case lorsque vous voulez que Prinergy ignore les sélections supplémentaires dans les repères.
• Désactivez cette case lorsque vous voulez que Prinergy affiche les couleurs supplémentaires dans les repères.

Important : Désactivez cette case à cocher si vous procédez à un mappage de couleurs dans le logiciel d'imposition, sinon Prinergy pourrait ignorer vos modifications de mappage de couleurs.

Écraser le fichier d'affectation automatique des pages existant

Activez cette case à cocher pour que Prinergy écrase le fichier APA existant et utilise les affectations spécifiées dans le travail importé.

Continuer l'importation si une erreur CRC est détectée

Activez cette case à cocher pour que Prinergy ignore les fichiers dans lesquels une erreur CRC est détectée et ne fasse pas échouer l'importation. Les fichiers pour lesquels des erreurs ont été détectées sont consignés dans la vue Historique ; vous pouvez ainsi les corriger et les réimporter dans le travail.

Effectuer l'affectation automatique des pages après l'importation de l'imposition vide

Activez cette case à cocher pour que Prinergy exécute l'affectation APA et pour permettre l'affectation automatique des pages une fois qu'elles ont été raffinées avant ou après une importation d'imposition.
Important :
Activez cette case à cocher uniquement si vous disposez d'un fichier APA contenant les affectations à appliquer au jeu de pages sélectionné. Les affectations existantes sont supprimées lorsque cette case est cochée et que le fichier APA est vide ou non valide.
Si vous désactivez cette case à cocher, les pages NE peuvent PAS être automatiquement affectées si elles ont été traitées avant une importation d'imposition vide (ou avant de créer un jeu de pages).

Centrer les pages dans l'imposition

(Uniquement pour les importations d'impositions)
Durant l'importation, spécifiez le positionnement de chaque cadre de rognage de page PDF (ou cadre de support) dans le cadre de rognage de l'imposition qui lui est affectée.
Les options disponibles sont les suivantes :

• Respecter l'existant Le positionnement de chaque page PDF (centré ou non) est conservé une fois le travail importé.
• Centré Chaque cadre de rognage de page PDF est centré dans le cadre de rognage de l'imposition qui lui est affecté. Vous pouvez ensuite modifier le positionnement des pages sans provoquer pour autant un décalage d'image qui serait dû à différentes tailles de cadres de rognage sur différentes pages PDF.
• Non centré Chaque cadre de rognage de page PDF est positionné dans le coin inférieur gauche du cadre de rognage de l'imposition qui lui est affecté.

Code ID du cahier, zone

Modèle

Saisissez une série de balises, telles que %jobname<n>%%imposition<n>%%version<n>%%signature<n>%%numsections%.
Cela remplace les paramètres par défaut spécifiées dans Administrateur.

Nombre de sections par cahier dans une imposition

Saisissez le nombre total de sections dans chaque cahier. Par exemple, si vous importez une imposition avec cinq cahiers et que les cahiers 2 et 5 contiennent chacun deux sections, saisissez 1,2,1,1,2.
Cela remplace les paramètres par défaut spécifiées dans Administrateur.

Section Normalisation des fichiers de repères PDF
 

Activez cette case à cocher pour activer la section Normalisation des fichiers de repères PDF du modèle de processus d'importation et définir comment Prinergy normalise les fichiers de repères PDF.

JTP

Sélectionnez Job Ticket Editor à utiliser pour la normalisation des fichiers de repères.
Remarque : Pour configurer les JTP, utilisez Prinergy Administrator.

Supprimer des XUID de police

XUID correspond à une ID étendue unique, ce qui est une caractéristique de police de caractères introduite dans la version 6 de Normalizer.
Sélectionnez cette case à cocher pour supprimer des XUID de police si vous raffinez des fichiers qui pourront être exportés et rippés sur des systèmes utilisant RIP 3011 (Prinergy 2.2.1.10 ou antérieur) ou d'autres versions plus anciennes.
Si vous laissez la case désactivée, les versions les plus anciennes de RIP risquent de se bloquer dans certaines circonstances.

Section Normalisation des fichiers de repères PostScript
 

Activez cette case à cocher pour activer la section Normalisation des fichiers de repères PostScript du modèle de processus d'importation et définir la manière dont Prinergy normalise les fichiers de repères PostScript.

JTP

Sélectionnez Job Ticket Editor à utiliser pour la normalisation des fichiers de repères.
Remarque : Pour configurer les JTP, utilisez Prinergy Administrator.

Images

Substituer l'image OPI

Activez cette case à cocher pour activer l'OPI et remplacer les commentaires OPI par des images spécifiées dans des chemins de recherche. Les images peuvent résider sur n'importe quel serveur Windows NT accessible sur le réseau.
Remarque : Les chemins de recherche des images n'explorent pas automatiquement les sous-dossiers ; veillez à bien spécifier chacun des sous-dossiers à explorer.

Échec sur des images manquantes

Cette case à cocher s'applique uniquement lorsque l'OPI ne trouve pas d'image pour le fichier d'entrée. Vous pouvez activer et désactiver cette case à cocher indépendamment de la case Substituer l'image OPI.
Activez cette case à cocher pour obliger Prinergy à faire échouer le processus de normalisation et à ne pas générer de page PDF.
Désactivez cette case à cocher pour obliger Prinergy à continuer de produire le fichier PDF avec une image manquante.
Dans les deux cas, Prinergy affiche un message d'erreur ou une icône (  ) aux emplacements suivants du Gestionnaire des travaux :

• Dans le volet Processus actifs.
• Dans la boîte de dialogue Infos sur le processus.
• Dans la vue Historique.

Gestion des images basse résolution

Cette option détermine le comportement de Prinergy lorsque des images ont une résolution inférieure à celle spécifiée dans les champs De résolution demi-tons inférieure à et De résolution de bitmaps inférieure à. Les options disponibles sont les suivantes :

• Ignorer les images basse résolution : aucun message d'erreur ne s'affiche et le traitement continue.
• Avertir en cas d'images basse résolution : un message d'erreur ou une icône s'affiche (  ) mais le traitement continue.
• Échec sur des images basse résolution : le traitement est interrompu et un message d'erreur ou une icône s'affiche (  ). Prinergy génère une page PDF mais elle est barrée d'une grande croix noire.

De résolution demi-tons inférieure à

Prinergy traite les images demi-tons dont les résolutions sont inférieures à cette valeur en fonction de l'action spécifiée pour les images basse résolution dans la liste Traitement des images basse résolution.
Ce champ n'est pas disponible si Traitement des images basse résolution est défini sur Ignorer les images basse résolution.

De résolution de bitmaps inférieure à

Prinergy traite les bitmaps dont les résolutions sont inférieures à cette valeur en fonction de l'action spécifiée pour les images basse résolution dans la liste Traitement des images basse résolution.
Ce champ n'est pas disponible si Traitement des images basse résolution est défini sur Ignorer les images basse résolution.

Polices

Supprimer des XUID de police

XUID correspond à une ID étendue unique, ce qui est une caractéristique de police de caractères introduite dans la version 6 de Normalizer.
Sélectionnez cette case à cocher pour supprimer des XUID de police si vous raffinez des fichiers qui pourront être exportés et rippés sur des systèmes utilisant RIP 3011 (Prinergy 2.2.1.10 ou antérieur) ou d'autres versions plus anciennes.
Si vous laissez la case désactivée, les versions les plus anciennes de RIP risquent de se bloquer dans certaines circonstances.

Section Optimisation des fichiers de repères PostScript

Activez cette case à cocher pour activer la section Optimisation des fichiers de repères PostScript du modèle de processus d'importation et définir comment Prinergy optimise les fichiers de repères PostScript.

JTP

Sélectionnez un JTP (Job Ticket Processor) à utiliser pour l'optimisation des fichiers de repères PostScript.
Remarque : Pour configurer les JTP, utilisez Prinergy Administrator.

Images couleur

Rééchantillonner

Activez cette case à cocher pour que les images dont la résolution est supérieure à la valeur du champ si supérieure à soient sous-échantillonnées à la valeur définie dans le champ jusqu'à.
Si vous activez cette case à cocher, sélectionnez un type de sous-échantillonnage dans la liste. Les options disponibles sont les suivantes :

• Moyen : le sous-échantillonnage est plus rapide, mais moins précis.
• Bicubique : le sous-échantillonnage est plus précis, mais plus lent.

La case à cocher Rééchantillonnage située sous Images couleur s'applique uniquement aux images couleur. La case à cocher Rééchantillonnage située sous Images en gamme de gris s'applique uniquement aux images en gamme de gris.

Jusqu'à

Seitenfolgenoptionen

Eine Reihe von Kontrollkästchen, mit denen Sie die Handhabung von Seitenzuordnungen in einer vorhandenen Seitenfolge bei Zuordnung eines neuen Ausschusses festlegen. Folgende Kontrollkästchen stehen zur Verfügung:

• Vorhandene Zuordnungen werden durch neue Zuordnungen ersetzt: Prinergy ersetzt die alten Seitenzuordnungen durch die neuen Seitenzuordnungen in der importierten Datei. In der Prozessvorlage „ImportIncremental" ist dieses Kontrollkästchen standardmäßig aktiviert.
• Vorhandene Zuordnungen wurden durch neue Nicht-Zuordnungen ersetzt: Prinergy entfernt die Seitenzuordnungen aus den Seiten, die in der importierten Datei nicht zugeordnet (leer) sind. Wenn dieses Kontrollkästchen aktiviert ist, werden die anderen beiden Kontrollkästchen in den Bereichen Seitenfolgenoptionen automatisch aktiviert.
• Vorhandene, nicht zugeordnete Elemente wurden durch neue Zuordnungen ersetzt: Prinergy behält die vorhandenen Zuordnungen bei und wendet alle neuen Zuordnungen aus dem importierten Job oder dem PJTF mit Seitenverweisen auf die nicht zugeordneten Positionen in der vorhandenen Seitenfolge an. Dieses Kontrollkästchen ist immer aktiviert.

Die Kontrollkästchen stehen nur zur Verfügung, wenn für die Liste Falls Seitenfolge bereits existiert eine der folgenden Optionen eingestellt ist: Existierende Seitenfolge erhalten und neuen Ausschuss erzeugen oder Existierende Seitenfolge und Ausschuss erhalten.
Diese Kontrollkästchen sind besonders wichtig beim manuellen Zuordnen von Seiten zu einer Seitenfolge und dem darauf folgenden Verknüpfen der Seitenfolge mit mehreren Ausschießschemata.

Ursprüngliche Auszüge nach Import von Ausschießschema festlegen

Möglicherweise fügen Sie in der Ausschießsoftware unbeabsichtigt Markierungen mit Auszügen hinzu, die nicht zum Inhalt der Refined-Seiten gehören.

• Aktivieren Sie dieses Kontrollkästchen, wenn Prinergy die zusätzlichen Auszüge in den Markierungen ignorieren soll.
• Deaktivieren Sie dieses Kontrollkästchen, wenn in Prinergy die zusätzlichen Farben in den Markierungen angezeigt werden sollen.

Wichtig: Deaktivieren Sie dieses Kontrollkästchen, wenn Sie in der Ausschießsoftware Farbzuordnungen vornehmen. Andernfalls ignoriert Prinergy möglicherweise Ihre Änderungen bezüglich der Farbzuordnung.

Existierende Automated-Page-Assignment-Datei überschreiben

Aktivieren Sie dieses Kontrollkästchen, wenn Prinergy die vorhandene APA-Datei überschreiben und die im importierten Job angegebenen Zuordnungen verwenden soll.

Job Import fortsetzen wenn CRC-Fehler auftreten

Aktivieren Sie dieses Kontrollkästchen, wenn Prinergy alle Dateien mit CRC-Fehlern überspringen soll, ohne den Import abzubrechen. Die Namen der fehlerhaften Dateien werden in der Ansicht Verlauf protokolliert, sodass Sie diese Dateien korrigieren und erneut in den Job importieren können.

Automatische Seitenzuordnung nach Ausschießschemaimport ohne Seitenverweise durchführen

Aktivieren Sie dieses Kontrollkästchen, und Prinergy führt eine APA-Zuordnung aus und ermöglicht eine automatische Zuordnung von Seiten, unabhängig davon, ob vor oder nach einem Ausschießschema-Import ein Refine-Prozess für diese Dateien durchgeführt wurde.
Wichtig:
Aktivieren Sie dieses Kontrollkästchen NUR, wenn Sie über eine APA-Datei mit den auf die ausgewählte Seitenfolge anzuwendenden Zuordnungen verfügen. Alle vorhandenen Zuordnungen werden gelöscht, wenn die APA-Datei leer oder ungültig ist und Sie dieses Kontrollkästchen aktivieren.
Wenn Sie dieses Kontrollkästchen deaktivieren, können Seiten NICHT automatisch zugeordnet werden, wenn sie vor einem Ausschießschemaimport ohne Seitenverweise (oder vor der Erstellung einer Seitenfolge) verarbeitet wurden.

Seiten in Ausschießschema zentrieren

(Nur für Ausschießschema-Importe)
Geben Sie beim Job-Import die Positionierung jedes PDF-Seitenbeschnittrahmens (oder Medienrahmens) innerhalb des jeweiligen zugeordneten Ausschießschema-Beschnittrahmens an.
Sie haben folgende Möglichkeiten:

• Vorhandene berücksichtigen – Behält die vorhandene Positionierung jeder PDF-Seite (unabhängig davon, ob sie zentriert ist oder nicht) beim Job-Import bei.
• Zentriert – Jeder PDF-Seitenbeschnittrahmen ist innerhalb seines Ausschießschema-Beschnittrahmens zentriert. Auf diese Weise können Sie Seiten anderen Positionen neu zuordnen, ohne die möglichen Bildverschiebungen aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Größen der Beschnittrahmen auf den verschiedenen PDF-Seiten berücksichtigen zu müssen.
• Nicht zentriert – Jeder PDF-Seitenbeschnittrahmen ist in der linken unteren Ecke des jeweiligen Ausschießschema-Beschnittrahmens positioniert.

Bereich „Signatur-ID-Code"

Vorlage

Geben Sie eine Reihe von Tags ein, z. B. %jobname<n>%%imposition<n>%%version<n>%%signature<n>%%numsections%.
Dadurch werden die im Administrator angegebenen Standardeinstellungen überschrieben.

Anzahl Sektionen pro Signatur in einem Ausschießschema

Geben Sie die Gesamtzahl der Sektionen in jeder Signatur an. Wenn Sie z. B. ein Ausschießschema mit fünf Signaturen importieren und die Signaturen 2 und 5 enthalten jeweils zwei Sektionen, geben Sie Folgendes ein: 1,2,1,1,2.
Dadurch werden die im Administrator angegebenen Standardeinstellungen überschrieben.

Bereich „Für PDF-Markendateien normalisieren"
 

Aktivieren Sie dieses Kontrollkästchen, um den Bereich Für PDF-Markendateien normalisieren der Import-Prozessvorlage zu aktivieren. In diesem Bereich wird festgelegt, wie in Prinergy PDF-Markendateien normalisiert werden.

JTP

Wählen Sie den Job Ticket-Prozessor aus, der zum Normalisieren der Marken-Dateien verwendet werden soll.
Anmerkung: JTPs werden in Prinergy Administrator eingerichtet.

Schriftart-XUIDs entfernen

XUID steht für "Extended Unique ID" (Erweiterte unverwechselbare ID). Dabei handelt es sich um eine Schriftart-Charakteristik, die mit Normalizer 6 eingeführt wurde.
Wählen Sie dieses Kontrollkästchen aus, um Schriftart-XUIDs zu entfernen, wenn Sie Dateien refinen, die auf Systemen exportiert und gerippt werden sollen, die das 3011 RIP (Prinergy 2.2.1.10 oder früher) oder ältere RIP-Versionen verwenden.
Wenn Sie das Kontrollkästchen nicht aktivieren, kann es bei älteren RIP-Versionen unter bestimmten Umständen zu Abstürzen kommen.

Bereich „Normalisieren für PostScript-Markendateien"
 

Aktivieren Sie dieses Kontrollkästchen, um den Bereich Normalisieren für PostScript-Markendateien der Import-Prozessvorlage zu aktivieren. Hier wird definiert, wie Prinergy die PostScript-Markendateien normalisiert.

JTP

Wählen Sie den Job Ticket-Prozessor aus, der zum Normalisieren der Marken-Dateien verwendet werden soll.

Bilder

Mit OPI Bilder ersetzen

Aktivieren Sie dieses Kontrollkästchen, um OPI zu aktivieren und OPI-Kommentare durch Bilder aus den angegebenen Suchpfaden zu ersetzen. Bilder können sich auf einem beliebigen Windows NT-Server befinden, auf den über das Netzwerk zugegriffen werden kann.
Anmerkung: Bildsuchpfade durchsuchen untergeordnete Ordner nicht. Es muss also jeder untergeordnete Ordner hinzugefügt werden.

Bei fehlenden Bildern abbrechen

Dieses Kontrollkästchen wird nur verwendet, wenn OPI kein Bild für die Eingabedatei finden kann. Sie können dieses Kontrollkästchen unabhängig vom Kontrollkästchen Mit OPI Bilder ersetzen aktivieren oder deaktivieren.
Aktivieren Sie dieses Kontrollkästchen, wenn Prinergy den Normalisierungsprozess abbrechen und keine PDF-Seite erzeugen soll.
Deaktivieren Sie dieses Kontrollkästchen, wenn Prinergy die PDF-Datei mit einem fehlenden Bild weiter verarbeiten soll.
In jedem Fall zeigt Prinergy eine Fehlermeldung oder ein Symbol ( ) an den folgenden Stellen im Job Manager an:

• Im Bereich „Aktive Prozesse"
• Im Dialogfeld „Prozess-Info"
• In der Ansicht Verlauf

Behandlung der Bilder mit niedriger Auflösung

Definiert die Vorgehensweise von Prinergy, wenn Bilder eine niedrigere Auflösung als die in den Feldern Von Halbtonauflösung unter und Von Bitmap-Auflösung unter angegebene Auflösung haben. Sie haben folgende Möglichkeiten:

• Bilder mit niedriger Auflösung ignorieren - Zeigt keine Warnmeldung an und fährt mit der Verarbeitung fort.
• Warnen bei Bildern mit niedriger Auflösung - Zeigt eine Warnmeldung oder ein Symbol (  ) an und fährt mit der Verarbeitung fort.
• Abbrechen bei Bildern mit niedriger Auflösung - Stoppt die Verarbeitung und zeigt eine Warnmeldung oder ein Symbol an (  ). Prinergy erzeugt eine PDF mit einem großen schwarzen X über der ganzen Fläche.

Von Halbtonauflösung unter

Wenn die Auflösung eines Halbtonbildes unter diesem Wert liegt, wird in Prinergy die in der Liste Behandlung für Bilder mit niedriger Auflösung für Bilder mit niedriger Auflösung angegebene Aktion ausgeführt.
Dieses Feld ist nicht verfügbar, wenn die Option Behandlung der Bilder mit niedriger Auflösung auf Fortfahren bei Bildern mit niedriger Auflösung gesetzt ist.

Von Bitmap-Auflösung unter

Wenn die Auflösung eines Bitmap-Bildes unter diesem Wert liegt, wird in Prinergy für dieses Bild die in der Liste Behandlung der Bilder mit niedriger Auflösung für Bilder mit niedriger Auflösung angegebene Aktion ausgeführt.

Wählen Sie nach dem Aktivieren des Kontrollkästchens einen Downsampling-Typ aus der Liste aus. Sie haben folgende Möglichkeiten:

Bereich „Ausschießdateien importieren"

Profil

Wählen Sie Standard, wenn Sie die Preps-Integration verwenden und Raw-Ausschießdateien mit den folgenden Objekten importieren möchten:

• JDF-Montageparameter (.jdf oder .xml)
• Preps-.job-Dateien (aus Preps- oder UpFront-Software*)

Wählen Sie PrepPrinergy. Diese Option wird von internen Preps-Integrationsprozessen verwendet. (*UpFront ist EOSL und wird nicht mehr getestet oder unterstützt).

Gerät

Wählen Sie das endgültige Ausgabegerät aus, auf dem die Ausgabe erfolgen soll.

Ausgabesignaturen

"Alle" oder "Teil"

Wählen Sie Alle, um alle Signaturen in das Ausschießschema zu importieren, oder wählen Sie Teil, um nur einige Signaturen in das Ausschießschema zu importieren.
Beim Importieren von nur einigen Signaturen müssen Sie die verbleibenden Steuerelemente im Feld Ausgabesignaturen ausfüllen.

Bereich

Geben Sie den zu importierenden Signaturbereich ein.
Geben Sie den Bahnbereich mithilfe eines Bindestrichs an, und setzen Sie nach jedem Bahnbereich oder nach jeder einzelnen Bahn ein Komma. Beispiel: 1-7, 9, 12-14.

Seiten

Wählen Sie zum Importieren Vorderseite, Rückseite oder Vorderseite und Rückseite der gewählten Objekte aus.
Wenn Sie z. B. Signaturen drucken und Vorderseite auswählen, können Sie über dieses Steuerelement alle Vorderseiten der angegebenen Signaturen drucken.
Wenn Sie beim Drucken von Bahnen Vorderseite auswählen, können Sie über dieses Steuerelement alle Vorderseiten der angegebenen Bahnen drucken.

Bahnen

Wählen Sie die Option Alle aus, um alle Bahnen zu importieren, oder wählen Sie die Option Bereich aus, um nur einige Bahnen zu importieren.
Zum Importieren von einigen Bahnen geben Sie im Feld Bereich den gewünschten Bahnbereich ein. Geben Sie den Bahnbereich mithilfe eines Bindestrichs an, und setzen Sie nach jedem Bahnbereich oder nach jeder einzelnen Bahn ein Komma. Beispiel: 1-7, 9, 12-14.

ページ セットが既に存在する場合

同じ名前のページ セットが既にジョブに存在する場合の処理方法を決定します。
注: ホット フォルダ経由で面付けプランをインポートする場合は、既存のページ セットおよび面付けを維持以外のオプションを選択します。
オプションは以下のとおりです。

• インポートの中止：インポートを停止します。
• 既存のページ セットおよび面付けの削除：既存のページ セットと面付けを、インポートされるページ セットと面付けで置き換えます。
• 代替ページ セットおよび面付けの作成：既存のページ セットやその割り当てを変えずに、新規ページ セットを作成し、新しいページ セットを面付けプランに関連付けます。これは、ImportAllプロセス テンプレートのデフォルト設定です。
• 既存のページ セットを維持して面付けの新規作成：元のページ セットを維持し、新しい面付けにそのページ セットを関連付けます。インポートされたページ セットと既存のページ セットのページ位置の数は同じでなければなりません。このオプションを選択すると、インポート プロセス テンプレートのページ セット オプション領域のチェックボックスが使用可能になります。

ページ セット オプション

新規面付けがページ セットに関連付けられるときに、既存のページ セットのページ割り当ての処理方法を指定するチェックボックスが用意されています。 チェックボックスは以下のとおりです。

• 既存の割り当てを新しい割り当てに置き換える：以前のページの割り当てが、インポートしたファイルの新しいページ割り当てに置き換えられます。 ImportIncremental プロセス テンプレートでは、デフォルトでこのチェックボックスがオンになっています。
• 既存の割り当てを未割り当てにする：インポートしたファイルで割り当てられていない（空白）ページから、ページ割り当てを削除します。 このチェックボックスをオンにすると、ページ セット オプションにある他の 2 つのチェックボックスも 自動的にオンになります。

これらのチェックボックスは、ページ セットが既に存在する場合リストが既存のページ セットを維持して面付けの新規作成または既存のページ セットおよび面付けを維持に設定されている場合にのみ使用できます。
これらのチェックボックスは、ページをページ セットに手動で割り当て、ページ セットを複数の面付けプランに関連付ける場合に特に重要です。

面付けをインポートした後に色版の最初の設定を実行

面付けソフトウェアで、リファインしたページにない色版を含むマークを誤って追加してしまうことがあります。

• マークに追加された色版を Prinergy で無視するには、このチェックボックスをオンにします。
• マークに追加された色を Prinergy で表示するには、このチェックボックスをオフにします。

重要: 面付けソフトウェアでカラー変換を行う場合は、このチェックボックスをオフにします。オフにしないと、Prinergy がカラー変換の指定を無視します。

既存の APA（自動ページ割り当て）に上書き

Prinergy で既存の APA ファイルを上書きし､インポートするジョブで指定された割り当てを使用する場合にオンにします。

CRC エラーが見つかった場合、ジョブのインポートを継続

CRC エラーのあるファイルがあっても、そのファイルを除いてインポートを続行する場合はオンにします。エラーのあるファイル名は履歴表示で記録されるので、これらのファイルを修正して再度ジョブにインポートできます。

後から面付けをインポートしたときにページを自動的に割り当てる

リファインされたのが面付けをインポートする前か後かにかかわらず、Prinergy が APA 割り当てを実行し、ページを自動的に割り当てる場合にオンにします。
重要:
選択したページ セットに適用する割り当てが設定された APA ファイルがない場合は、このチェックボックスをオンにしないでください。 空の APA ファイルまたは無効な APA ファイルがある場合にこのチェックボックスをオンにすると、既存の割り当てが削除されます。
このチェックボックスをオフにすると、割り当てのない面付けをインポートする前（またはページ セットが作成される前）にページが処理された場合、ページは自動的に割り当てられません。

面付けのページ配置

（面付けのインポートのみ）
各 PDF ページのトリミング ボックス（またはメディア ボックス）を、割り当てられた面付けのトリミング ボックスでどのように配置するか、ジョブのインポート時に指定します。
オプションは以下のとおりです。

• 設定値を維持：ジョブのインポート時に、各 PDF ページの既存の配置（中央またはオフセット）を保持します。
• 中央揃え：各 PDF ページのトリミング ボックスは、面付けトリミング ボックス内の中央に配置されます。このオプションを選択すると、異なるトリミング ボックスを持つ別の PDF ページにページを割り当てても、画像の位置がずれて問題になることがありません。

［折丁 ID コード］領域

テンプレート名

%jobname<n>%%imposition<n>%%version<n>%%signature<n>%%numsections% などのように、一連のタグを入力します。
この設定は、Administrator で指定されたデフォルトの設定を上書きします。

1 つの面付けの折丁ごとのセクション数

各折丁のセクションの総数を入力します。たとえば、5 つの折丁が含まれる面付けをインポートする際、折丁 2 と折丁 5 にそれぞれ 2 つのセクションが含まれる場合は、「1,2,1,1,2」と入力します。
この設定は、Administrator で指定されたデフォルトの設定を上書きします。

画像

OPI 画像の置換を実行

このチェックボックスをオンにすると OPI を使用できるようになり、指定された検索パスにある画像で OPI コメントが置換されます。画像は、アクセスできるネットワーク上の Windows NT サーバーにあります。
注: 画像検索パスはサブフォルダを検索しません。必ず各サブフォルダを追加してください。

画像が不明な場合にエラー

このチェックボックスは、OPI が入力ファイルの画像を検索できない場合のみ適用されます。このチェックボックスはOPI 画像の置換を実行チェックボックスとは別にオンまたはオフにできます。
オンにすると、ノーマライズ処理でエラーが発生した場合、PDF ページは作成されません。
オフにすると、エラーのページの処理も続行し、画像のない PDF ファイルが作成されます。
いずれの場合も、Prinergy のジョブ マネージャーで、次の場所にエラー メッセージまたはアイコン（ ）が表示されます。

• ［プロセス］ウィンドウ枠の［アクティブ］タブ
• ［処理情報］ダイアログ ボックス
• 履歴表示

低解像度の画像の処理

連続諧調 - 次の値より下の解像度およびビットマップ - 次の値より下の解像度で指定された解像度より低い場合の処理を指定します。オプションは以下のとおりです。

• 低解像度の画像を無視：処理を続行し、警告メッセージは表示されません。
• 低解像度の画像を警告：警告メッセージまたはアイコン（  ）を表示しますが、処理を続行します。
• 低解像画像の画像でエラー：警告メッセージまたはアイコン（  ）が表示され、処理がエラーになります。処理できなかった PDF ページには、黒の大きな X がページ上に表示されます。

連続諧調 - 次の値より下の解像度

この値以下の解像度の連続諧調画像に対し低解像度の画像の処理リストで指定された処理を行います。
このボックスは、低解像度の画像の処理が低解像度の画像を無視に設定されている場合は使用できません。

ビットマップ - 次の値より下の解像度

この値以下の解像度のビットマップ画像に対し低解像度の画像の処理リストで指定された処理を行います。
このボックスは、低解像度の画像の処理が低解像度の画像を無視に設定されている場合は使用できません。

フォント

フォント XUID を削除

• Preps .jobファイル（Preps または UpFront ソフトウェア）

PrepsPrinergyを選択しないでください。このオプションは、Preps 統合の内部プロセスとして使用されます。(UpFrontはEOSLであり、テストもサポートも終了している）。

最終出力デバイスを選択します。

折丁の出力

［すべて］または［一部］

すべてを選択して、面付けの折丁をすべてインポートするか、一部を選択して、面付けの一部の折丁をインポートします。
折丁の一部のみをインポートする場合は、折丁の出力ボックスの残りの設定を行います。

範囲

インポートする折丁の範囲を入力します。
ダッシュ記号を使用して、原反の範囲を示し、各原反の範囲またはコンマのついた個別の原反が続きます。たとえば、1-7、9、12-14 です。

面

選択した折丁の表面、裏面、または表面と裏面を選択します。
たとえば、折丁を出力する際に、表面を選択すると、指定した折丁の表面をすべて出力できます。
たとえば、ページを出力する際に、表面を選択すると、指定したページの表面をすべて出力できます。

原反

すべてを選択して、原反をすべてインポートするか、または範囲を選択していくつかの原反のみインポートします。

Sección Importar

Si ya existe un conjunto de páginas

Determina lo que ocurre cuando ya existe un conjunto de páginas con el mismo nombre.
Nota: Al importar un plan de imposición a través de una hot folder, elija cualquier opción excepto Mantener conjunto de páginas e imposición existentes.
Las opciones son:

• Error al importar:Detiene el proceso de importación.
• Eliminar conjunto de páginas e imposición existentes:Sustituye el conjunto de páginas y la imposición existente por los que se están importando.
• Crear conjunto de páginas e imposición alternativos:Crea un nuevo conjunto de páginas y lo vincula al plan de imposición, sin que ello afecte al conjunto de páginas existente ni a sus asignaciones. Ésta es la opción predeterminada en la plantilla de proceso ImportAll.
• Mantener conjunto de páginas existente y crear imposición:Mantiene el conjunto de páginas original y lo vincula a la nueva imposición. Los conjuntos de páginas existentes y los importados deben tener el mismo número de posiciones. Al seleccionar esta opción, se habilitan las casillas de verificación del área Opciones del conjunto de páginas de la plantilla de proceso de importación.
• Mantener conjunto de páginas e imposición existentes:Mantiene el conjunto de páginas y la imposición existentes. Los conjuntos de páginas existentes y los importados deben tener el mismo número de posiciones. Ésta es la opción predeterminada en la plantilla de proceso ImportJobIncremental. Al seleccionar esta opción, se habilitan las casillas de verificación del área Opciones del conjunto de páginas de la plantilla de proceso de importación.

Opciones del conjunto de páginas

Conjunto de casillas de verificación que especifican el modo de gestionar las asignaciones de páginas de un conjunto de páginas existente el vincular la nueva imposición a dicho conjunto de páginas. Las casillas de verificación son:

• Asignaciones existentes sustituidas por asignaciones nuevas: Prinergy sustituye lasa antiguas asignaciones de página por las nuevas del archivo importado. Ésta es la opción seleccionada de forma predeterminada en la plantilla de proceso ImportIncremental.
• Asignaciones existentes sustituidas por nuevas anulaciones de asignación: Prinergy elimina las asignaciones de página de páginas que no se han asignado (vacías) en el archivo importado. Al activar esta casilla de verificación, se activan automáticamente las otras dos casillas de verificación de Opciones del grupo de páginas .
• Asignaciones inexistentes sustituidas por nuevas asignaciones: Prinergy mantiene las asignaciones existentes y aplica las asignaciones nuevas del trabajo importado o PJTF completo a las posiciones no asignadas del conjunto de páginas existente. Esta casilla de verificación está siempre activada.

Las casillas de verificación solo están disponibles cuando la lista Si ya existe un conjunto de páginas está definida como Mantener conjunto de páginas existente y crear imposición o Mantener conjunto de páginas e imposición existentes.
Estas casillas de verificación son especialmente importantes si desea asignar páginas manualmente a un conjunto de páginas y a continuación vincular el grupo a varios planes de imposición.

Definir separaciones iniciales después de la importación de la imposición

Active esta casilla de verificación si desea que Prinergy pase por alto los archivos que presenten errores CRC sin interrumpir la importación. Los nombres de los archivos que contienen errores se registran en la vista Historial, de forma que pueda corregirlos y reimportarlos al trabajo.

Asignar automáticamente páginas tras la importación incompleta de la imposición

Active esta casilla de verificación cuando desee que Prinergy realice la asignación APA y permita asignar automáticamente las páginas independientemente de que se hayan afinado antes o después de la importación de la imposición.
Importante:
No active esta casilla de verificación si no dispone de un archivo APA que contenga las asignaciones que desea aplicar al conjunto de páginas seleccionado. Si el archivo APA está vacío o no es válido y activa esta casilla de verificación, todas las asignaciones existentes se eliminan.

Centrar páginas en imposición

(Sólo para importaciones de imposición)
Especifique la colocación del cuadro de recorte (o de materiales) de cada página PDF dentro del cuadro de recorte de la imposición a la que está asignada la página durante la importación del trabajo.
Las opciones son:

• Respetar existentes: mantiene la colocación existente de cada página PDF (centrada o no centrada) al importar el trabajo.
• Centrada: el cuadro de recorte de cada página PDF se centra en el cuadro de recorte de su imposición. De este modo, puede reasignar las páginas a distintas posiciones sin tener que preocuparse de los desplazamientos de las imágenes causados por la diferencia de tamaño de los cuadros de recorte de las distintas páginas PDF.
• No centrada:el cuadro de recorte de cada página PDF se coloca en la esquina inferior izquierda del cuadro de recorte de su imposición.

Área Código ID de pliego

Plantilla

Especifique una serie de etiquetas como, por ejemplo, %jobname<n>%%imposition<n>%%version<n>%%signature<n>%%numsections%.
Así se reemplaza la opción predeterminada especificada en Administrator.

Número de secciones por pliego en una imposición

Escriba el número total de secciones en cada pliego. Por ejemplo, si importa una imposición con cinco pliegos y los pliegos 2 y 5 contienen dos secciones, introduzca1,2,1,1,2.
Así se reemplaza la opción predeterminada especificada en Administrator.

Sección Normalizar archivos de marcas PDF
 

Active esta casilla de verificación para habilitar la sección Normalizar archivos de marcas PDF de la plantilla de proceso de importación, que determina el modo en que Prinergy normaliza los archivos de marcas PDF.

JTP

Seleccione el procesador de notas de trabajo que se utilizará para normalizar los archivos de marcas.

Eliminar fuente XUIDs

XUID son las siglas, en inglés, de ID exclusivo extendido, una característica de fuente introducida con el Normalizador 6.
Seleccione esta casilla de verificación para eliminar los XUID de fuentes si está afinando los archivos que se pueden exportar y rasterizar en sistemas que utilizan el 3011 RIP (Prinergy 2.2.1.10 o anterior) u otros RIP anteriores.
Si no se selecciona, el antiguo RIP puede dejar de funcionar en ciertas circunstancias.

Sección Normalizar archivos de marcas PostScript

Images (Imágenes)

Remplazar imágenes OPI

Error si faltan imágenes

Esta casilla de verificación sólo es aplicable cuando OPI no puede encontrar las imágenes de los archivos de entrada. Puede activar o desactivar esta casilla de verificación independientemente de la casilla de verificación Reemplazar imágenes OPI.
Active esta casilla de verificación si desea que Prinergy detenga el proceso de normalización y no genere una página PDF.
Desactive esta casilla de verificación si desea que Prinergy prosiga la generación del archivo PDF aún cuando falta una imagen.
En cualquiera de los casos, Prinergy muestra un mensaje de error o un icono (  ) en los siguientes lugares del Administrador de trabajos:

• En el panel Procesos activos.

Gestión de imágenes de baja resolución

Determina lo que hace Prinergy cuando las imágenes tienen una resolución menor que la especificada en de resolución de tonos continuos por debajo de y en de resolución de mapa de bits por debajo de. Las opciones son:

• Pasar por alto imágenes de baja resolución: no muestra ningún mensaje de advertencia y continua con el procesamiento.
• Advertir de imágenes de baja resolución: muestra un mensaje de advertencia o icono (  ) pero continúa con el procesamiento.
• Error si hay imágenes de baja resolución: detiene el procesamiento y muestra un mensaje de advertencia o icono (  ). Prinergy genera un PDF, con una gran X negra sobre la superficie.

Eliminar fuente XUIDs

Sección Importar archivos originales de imposición

Perfil

Seleccione Predeterminado si utiliza la integración con Preps y desea importar archivos originales de imposición, es decir:

• Parámetros de montaje de JDF (.jdf o .xml)
• Archivos .job de Preps (del software Preps o UpFront*)

No seleccione PrepPrinergy. Esta opción la utilizan los procesos internos de integración de Preps. (*UpFront es EOSL y ya no se prueba ni admite).

Dispositivo

Seleccione el dispositivo de salida final en el que se va a imprimir la salida.

Obtener pliegos

Completa o Parcial

Seleccione Todo para importar todos los pliegos de la imposición o seleccione Parcial para importar sólo algunos de ellos.
Si sólo se dispone a importar algunos pliegos, defina el resto de los controles del cuadro Obtener pliegos.

Intervalo

Escriba el intervalo de pliegos que desea importar.
Utilice un guión para indicar el intervalo de las bobinas de papel; cada intervalo de bobinas o bobina individual debe ir seguido de una coma. Por ejemplo, 1-7, 9, 12-14.

Caras

Seleccione si desea imprimir el Anverso, el Reverso o el Anverso y reverso de los objetos seleccionados.
Por ejemplo, si se dispone a imprimir pliegos y selecciona Anverso, podrá imprimir todas los anversos de los pliegos especificados.
Si va a imprimir bobinas de papel y selecciona Anverso, podrá imprimir todos los anversos de las bobinas de papel especificadas.

Two types of process templates are available for importing: ImportAll and ImportJobIncremental. To import impositions use the ImportAll process template.

Import section

Select this check box to enable the Import section of the import process template.
It determines how Prinergy imports impositions, exported jobs, and exported job files.

JTP

Select a JTP to use for importing.
Note: You set up JTPs using Prinergy Administrator.

If Page Set Already Exists

Determines what happens if a page set with the same name already exists.
Note: When importing an imposition plan via a hot folder, choose any option except Keep existing page set and imposition.

The options are:

• • Fail import: Stops the import process.
  • Delete existing page set and imposition: Replaces the existing page set and imposition with the page set and imposition being imported.
  • Create alternate page set and imposition: Creates a new page set and links it to the imposition plan, without affecting the existing page set or its assignments. This is the default in the ImportAll process template.
  • Keep existing page set and create new imposition: Retains the original page set and links it to the new imposition. The imported and existing sets must have the same number of positions. Selecting this option enables the check boxes in the Page Sets Options area of the import process template.
  • Keep existing page set and imposition: Retains the existing page set and imposition. The imported and existing sets must have the same number of positions. This is the default in the ImportJobIncremental process template. Selecting this option enables the check boxes in the Page Sets Options area of the import process template.

Page Set Options

A set of check boxes that specify how to handle page assignments in an existing page set when the new imposition is linked to that page set. The check boxes are:

• • Existing assignments replaced by new assignments: Prinergy replaces the old page assignments with the new page assignments in the imported file. In the ImportIncremental process template, this check box is selected by default.
  • Existing assignments replaced by new unassignments: Prinergy removes page assignments from pages that are not assigned (blank) in the imported file. When this check box is selected, the other two check boxes in Page Set Options are automatically selected.
  • Existing unassigned replaced by new assignment: Prinergy retains existing assignments and applies any new assignments from the imported job or populated PJTF to any unassigned positions in the existing page set. This check box is always selected.

The check boxes are available only if the If Page Set Already Exists list is set to either Keep existing page set and create new imposition or Keep existing page set and imposition.
These check boxes are especially important when you want to manually assign pages to a page set and then link the page set to multiple imposition plans.

Set Initial Separations After Imposition Import

In the imposition software, you may inadvertently add marks that contain separations that are not present in the content of the refined pages.

• • Select this check box when you want Prinergy to ignore the additional separations in the marks.
  • Clear this check box when you want Prinergy to show the additional colors in the marks.

Important: Clear this check box if you are doing color mapping in the imposition software. Otherwise, Prinergy may ignore your color mapping changes.

Overwrite Existing Automated Page Assignment File

Select this check box if you want Prinergy to overwrite the existing APA file and use the assignments specified in the job you are importing.

Continue Job Import if CRC Error Found

Select this check box when you want Prinergy to skip any files with CRC errors without failing the import. The names of the files with errors are logged in the History view, so you can correct and reimport these files into the job.

Do Auto Page Assignment After Unpopulated Imposition Import

Select this check box when you want Prinergy to perform APA assignment and allow pages to be automatically assigned whether they have been refined before or after an imposition import.
Important: Do not select this check box unless you have an APA file with the assignments that you want applied to the selected page set. Any existing assignments are deleted if you have an empty or invalid APA file and this check box is selected.
If you clear this check box, pages can NOT be automatically assigned if they have been processed before an unpopulated imposition import (or before a page set is created).

Center Pages in Imposition

(For imposition imports only)
Specify the placement of each PDF page trim box (or media box) within its assigned imposition trim box during the job import.

The options are:

• • Honor Existing—preserves the existing placement of each PDF page (centered or not centered) when the job is imported.
  • Centered—each PDF page trim box is centered within its imposition trim box. You can then reassign pages to different positions without worrying about the image shifts caused by different trim box sizes on different PDF pages.
  • Not Centered—each PDF page trim box is positioned in the lower-left corner of its imposition trim box.

Signature ID Code area

Template

Type a series of tags such as %jobname<n>%%imposition<n>%%version<n>%%signature<n>%%numsections%.
This overrides the default settings specified in Administrator.

Number of sections per signatures in one imposition

Type the total number of sections in each signature. For example, if you import an imposition with five signatures and signatures 2 and 5 each contains two sections, enter 1,2,1,1,2.
This overrides the default settings specified in Administrator.

Normalize for PDF Marks File section

Select this check box to enable the Normalize for PDF Marks Files section of the import process template, which determines how Prinergy normalizes PDF marks files.

JTP

Select the job ticket processor you want to use for normalizing the marks files.
Note: You set up JTPs using Prinergy Administrator.

Remove Font XUIDs

XUID stands for extended unique ID, which is a font characteristic introduced with Normalizer 6.
Select this check box to remove font XUIDs if you are refining files that may be exported and ripped on systems that use the 3011 RIP (Prinergy 2.2.1.10 or earlier) or other older RIPs.
If left unchecked, the older RIP may crash in some circumstances.

Normalize for PostScript Marks Files section

Select this check box to enable the Normalize for PostScript Marks Files section of the import process template, which determines how Prinergy normalizes PostScript marks files.

JTP

Select the job ticket processor you want to use for normalizing the marks files.
Note: You set up JTPs using Prinergy Administrator.

Images

Do OPI Image Replacement

Select this check box to enable OPI, which replaces OPI comments with images from the defined search paths. Images can reside on any Windows NT server accessible on the network.
Note: Image search paths do not search subfolders, so be sure to add each subfolder specifically.

Fail on Missing Images

This check box applies only when OPI can't locate an image for the input file. You can select or clear this check box independently of the Do OPI Image Replacement check box.
Select this check box if you want Prinergy to fail the normalize process and not produce a PDF page.
Clear this check box if you want Prinergy to continue producing the PDF file with a missing image.

In either case Prinergy displays an error message or icon  in  Job Manager, in these locations:

• • • In the Active Processes pane.
    • In the Process Info dialog box.
    • On the History view.

Low Resolution Image Handling

Determines what Prinergy does when images are lower than the resolutions specified in the Of Contone Resolution Below and the Of Bitmap Resolution Below. The options are:

• • • Ignore low resolution images—does not display warning message and continues processing.
    • Warn for low resolution images—displays a warning message or icon , but continues processing.
    • Fail on low resolution images—stops processing and displays a warning message or icon . Prinergy produces a PDF covered by a large, black X.

Of Contone Resolution Below

Prinergy handles contone images with resolutions below this value with the action specified for low-resolution images in the Low Resolution Image Handling list.
This box is not available if Low Resolution Image Handling is set to Ignore low resolution images.

Of Bitmap Resolution Below

Prinergy handles bitmap images with resolutions below this value with the action specified for low-resolution images in the Low Resolution Image Handling list.
This box is not available if Low Resolution Image Handling is set to Ignore low resolution images.

Fonts

Remove Font XUIDs

Resample

Select this check box to downsample images with a resolution above the value in the If Above box to the value set in the Down to box.
If you select the check box, select type of downsampling in the list. The options are:

• • • Average—provides faster but less accurate downsampling.
    • Bicubic—provides slower but more accurate downsampling.

The Resample check box under Color Images applies only to color images. The Resample check box under Grayscale Images applies only to grayscale images.

Down to

Type the lowest resolution to which Prinergy downsamples images. The recommended setting is double the lpi value. For example, 400 ppi for 200 lpi, 300 ppi for 150 lpi, 170 ppi for 85 lpi.
The Down to box in the Color Images area applies to color images. The Down to box in the Grayscale Images area applies to grayscale images.
Note: The Down to and the if Above options are linked by ratio. This ratio is stored as an integer in each process template. When you open a process template, Prinergy calculates the if Above value from the Down to value and the stored ratio. When you change the if Above value, the Down to value stays the same, but the system rounds the if Above value to the nearest integer, according to the ratio between the two options.

if Above

Type the minimum resolution an image must be for Prinergy to downsample it.
The if Above box under Color Images applies to color images. The if Above box under Grayscale Images applies to grayscale images.
Note: The Down to and the if Above options are linked by ratio. This ratio is stored as an integer in each process template. When you open a process template, Prinergy calculates the if Above value from the Down to value and the stored ratio. When you change the if Above value, the Down to value stays the same, but the system rounds the if Above value to the nearest integer, according to the ratio between the two options.

Compression

Select a compression format for compressing images. The options are:

• • • None—disables image compression.
    • JPEG (Lossy)—compresses images using a JPEG format.

Import Raw Imposition Files section

Profile

Select Default if you use Preps Integration and you want to import raw imposition files, which include:

• • • JDF stripping parameters (.jdf or .xml)
    • Preps .job files (from Preps or UpFront* software)

Do not select PrepPrinergy. This option is used by the internal Preps integration processes. (*UpFront is EOSL and no longer tested or supported).

Device

Select the final output device on which this output is eventually to be printed.

Output Signatures

All or Partial

Select All to import all signatures in the imposition, or select Partial to import only some of the signatures in the imposition.
If you are importing only some of the signatures complete the remaining controls in the Output Signatures box.

Range

Type the range of signatures that you want to import.
Use a dash to indicate a range of webs; follow each web range or individual web with a comma. For example, 1-7, 9, 12-14.

Sides

Select to import the Front, Back, or Front and Back of the selected objects.
For example if you are printing signatures and select Front, this control allows you to print all the front sides of the specified signatures.
If you are printing webs and select Front, this control allows you to print all the front sides of the specified webs.

Webs

Select All to import all webs or select Range to import only some of the webs.
If you are importing only some of the webs type the range of webs that you want to import in the Range box. Use a dash to indicate a range of webs; follow each web range or individual web with a comma. For example, 1-7, 9, 12-14.
