Con OPI, puede usar los canales de colores planos creados en imágenes TIFF.

Nota: Si las imágenes no son archivos TIFF de Photoshop, Prinergy hará caso omiso de las rutas de recorte. Para usar los canales de colores planos, puede usar métodos alternativos. En un software distinto de InDesign, guarde las imágenes como archivos DCS y sustitúyalos en el diseño original. Con InDesign (que no omite archivos TIFF para los colores planos que contienen OPI aun cuando OPI esté seleccionado en el cuadro de diálogo Imprimir) realice una de las acciones siguientes:

  • Cree una imagen CMYK plana alternativa para que se use como proxy. Imprima el PostScript junto con los comentarios OPI pero omitiendo las imágenes. Agregue el archivo TIFF que contiene los canales de colores planos que desee en una ruta de búsqueda de imagen.
  • Utilice las imágenes proxy creadas por una solución OPI, como ColorCentral o Asset Library, para la colocación de imágenes de baja resolución en InDesign. Estas imágenes se sustituirán por sus equivalentes de alta resolución durante el paso OPI del proceso de afinado.
  1. Cree la imagen como archivo TIFF en el software Photoshop.
  2. En el área Sustitución de imagen de la sección Fuentes e imágenes de la plantilla de proceso de afinado, marque la casilla de verificación Buscar imágenes de alta resolución en rutas de búsqueda de imágenes para activar OPI.
  3. En el área Atributos de imagen, marque la casilla de verificación Aplicar ruta de recorte en archivos TIFF de Photoshop.
  4. Afine los archivos.

With OPI, you can use the spot color channels created in TIFF images.

Note: If the images are not Photoshop TIFF files, Prinergy ignores clipping paths. To use the spot color channels, you can use alternative methods. In software other than InDesign, save the images as DCS files, and replace them in the original layout. With InDesign, which does not omit TIFF files for OPI-containing spot colors even when OPI is selected in the Print dialog box, do either of the following actions:

  • Create a plain alternate CMYK image for use as a proxy. Print the PostScript including the OPI comments but omitting the images. Add the TIFF file containing the desired spot color channels to an image search path.
  • Use proxy images created by an OPI solution, such as ColorCentral or Asset Library, for low-resolution image placement into InDesign. These images will be replaced by their high-resolution counterparts during the OPI step of the refine process.
  1. Create the image as TIFF files in the Photoshop software.
  2. In the Image Replacement area of the Fonts and Images section of the refine process template, select the Search for High-Resolution Images in Image Search Paths check box to enable OPI.
  3. In the Image Attributes area, select the Apply Clipping Path in Photoshop TIFFs check box.
  4. Refine the files.
