Use the template palette to drag input files from your work folders onto a process template for processing. To create a template palette, from the Window menu, select New Template Palette to open the template palette. To customize the template palette, select Window > Template Browser to open the Template Browser dialog box. Once configured, you can access your template palettes from the Window menu, Template Palettes option. You can edit the list of template palettes, from the Edit Palette Windows dialog box. Template Palettes Displays a list of template palettes. To edit the list, select Edit This List, and in the Edit Palette window add or delete Template Palettes. Once configured, a template palette enables you to drag files from mounted volumes on the Prinergy Evo client computer to the template palette for processing. After processing, Prinergy Evo software saves the output file to the same folder as the input file. If you want the output file saved to another folder, you must specify the alternate location in the selected process template. A template palette can contain one or many different processing templates. However, you must drag input files onto each template palette icon separately in order to process the file based on each process template's parameters. There is no connected workflow between process templates in the template palette unless you configured each process template to be connected by hot folders. You can also click the template palette to open the Process Start dialog box in order to browse to add files, remove incorrect files, drag new files, or change the process template that you want to process the files with. You cannot edit the process template parameters from the Process Start dialog box. |
