Create a duplicating mark that repeats a mark image file to automatically fill a specified area.

  1. In the Marks folder, select the EPS and PDF version of an existing custom mark image file.
  2. Move the mark image file to the Dupmarks folder. Do not copy the file.
    A mark image file that is in the Dupmarks folder must not reside in another location within the Marks folder.
  3. Restart Preps software, so that it will recognize the mark file as a duplicating mark.
  4. Select Resources > New SmartMark > Duplicating.
  5. Edit the properties:
    1. Give the new mark a suitable name.
    2. Locate and select the mark image file.
    3. Specify the area that the mark is to fill.
    4. In the Duplicate from list, select Left or Right to repeat the image from one end of the mark length to the other, or select Center to repeat it to either side from the center of the mark area.
    5. Edit the remaining mark properties, as needed.
  6. Click Save to automatically add the new duplicating mark to the Marks list.

The duplicating SMK file is stored in the SmartMarks folder and references the custom mark image file in the Dupmarks folder. When you add this mark to a press sheet, it will automatically repeat to fill the area that you specify.

Créer un repère de duplication qui répète un fichier d'images de repère pour remplir automatiquement une zone spécifiée.

  5. Modifiez les propriétés :
    1. Donnez au nouveau repère un nom approprié.
    2. Localisez et sélectionnez le fichier d'images du repère.
    3. Spécifiez la zone que doit couvrir le repère.
    4. Dans la liste Copier à partir de, sélectionnez Gauche ou Droite pour répéter l'image d'une extrémité du repère à l'autre ou sélectionnez Centre pour la répéter de chaque côté du centre de la zone du repère.
    5. Modifiez les propriétés du repère restantes selon vos besoins.
  6. Cliquez sur Enregistrer pour ajouter automatiquement le nouveau repère de duplication à la liste Repères.

Le fichier SMK de duplication est enregistré dans le dossier SmartMarks et référence le fichier d'images de repère personnalisé dans le dossier Repères de duplication. Lorsque vous ajoutez ce repère à une feuille d'impression, il sera automatiquement répété pour couvrir la zone spécifiée.
