A process template is a collection of user-defined settings that tells the various JTPs in your Prinergy Evo Server how to perform a process such as producing a page proof. In other words, it is a template for how to process files. For example, in an output from PDF process template , you can specify the output device, resolution, scaling, size of media, orientation, sheet and page marks information, and so on. Process templates automate repetitive workflow tasks, saving time and reducing errors. Process templates are created and edited in the Process Template Editor. Depending on your Prinergy Evo license, you can have two main types of process templates:
The main difference between creating page output and imposed output process templates is that for page output process templates you can define simple imposition parameters in the Layout section of the OutputPDF Process Template dialog box. For imposed output you must create in Preps, or in other qualified imposition software, a PJTF or JDF file that has the required imposition parameters. You then submit it to a Prinergy Evo submission channel with an output imposition process template attached. A process template is required for each process. For example, you need a Refine to PDF process template in order to refine input files and an output from PDF process template to output flat proofs.

Eine Prozessvorlage ist eine Gruppe benutzerdefinierter Einstellungen, die den verschiedenen JTPs in Prinergy Evo Server angeben, wie ein Prozess, z. B. die Erstellung eines Seiten-Proofs, ausgeführt werden muss. Es handelt sich um eine Vorlage zum Verarbeiten von Dateien. In einer „Ausgabe aus PDF“-Prozessvorlage können Sie z. B. das Ausgabegerät, die Auflösung, die Skalierung, die Mediengröße, die Ausrichtung, Angaben zu Bogen- und Seitenmarken usw. festlegen. Mit Prozessvorlagen lassen sich wiederholende Vorgänge automatisieren, um dadurch Zeit einzusparen und die Fehlerzahl zu verringern. Prozessvorlagen werden im Prozessvorlagen-Editor erstellt und bearbeitet. Abhängig von der jeweiligen Prinergy Evo Lizenz können zwei Haupttypen von Prozessvorlagen eingesetzt werden:
Der Hauptunterschied zwischen dem Erstellen von Seitenausgaben-Prozessvorlagen und Prozessvorlagen für ausgeschossene Ausgabe besteht darin, dass Sie für Seitenausgabe-Prozessvorlagen einfache Ausschießparameter im Abschnitt Layout des Prozessvorlage-Dialogfelds „PDF ausgeben“ erstellen können. Für ausgeschossene Ausgaben müssen Sie in Preps oder einer anderen qualifizierten Ausschießsoftware eine PJTF- oder JDF-Datei erstellen, die über die erforderlichen Ausschießparameter verfügt. Sie übermitteln diese dann mit angehängter Ausschießschemaausgabe-Prozessvorlage an einen Prinergy Evo-Übermittlungskanal. Für jeden Prozess ist eine Prozessvorlage erforderlich. Beispielsweise benötigen Sie eine Prozessvorlage „Refinen zu PDF“, um Eingabedateien zu refinen, und eine Prozessvorlage „Ausgabe aus PDF“, um Ganzformen auf einem Proofer auszugeben. |

Un process template è un insieme di impostazioni definite dall'utente che indica ai vari JTP nel server Prinergy Evo come eseguire un processo quale la produzione di una prova di pagine. In altri termini, si tratta di un template per l'elaborazione di file. In un process template Output in PDF, ad esempio, si possono specificare il dispositivo di output, la risoluzione, la scala, le dimensioni del supporto, l'orientamento, informazioni sui segni di pagine e fogli e così via. I process template automatizzano le attività ripetitive del flusso di lavoro, consentendo di risparmiare tempo e ridurre gli errori. Vengono creati e modificati nell'apposito editor, Process Template Editor. A seconda della licenza di Prinergy Evo in uso, è possibile disporre di due tipi principali di process template:
La differenza principale tra la creazione di process template per l'output di pagine e per l'output imposto è che per l'output di pagine è possibile definire semplici parametri di imposizione nella sezione Layout della finestra di dialogo del process template Output in PDF. Per l'output imposto è invece necessario creare in Preps, o in un altro software di imposizione qualificato, un file PJTF o JDF che comprenda i parametri di imposizione richiesti. È quindi necessario inviarlo al canale di invio di Prinergy Evo con un process template Output imposizione associato.</p> Ogni processo richiede un template di processo.
