Descargue e instale Kodak Distiller Assistant.

Kodak Distiller Assistant es compatible con clientes Mac y Windows. Este software es compatible con Adobe Acrobat 4.0 (o posterior), para Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows NT y Windows 2000.

Kodak Distiller Assistant sustituye los archivos de inicio antiguos PrinergyForDistiller y Synapse Distiller Startup. Si es necesario, elimine estos archivos de la carpeta Inicio cuando realice una actualización.

  1. Vaya a http://graphics.kodak.com/..
  2. Buscar Distiller Assistant y descargue el archivo comprimido.
  3. Extraiga y copie el archivo CreoDistillerAssistant en la carpeta Inicio de Distiller.
    • Si utiliza Distiller 6, la ubicación de la carpeta es C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Adobe PDF 6.0\Startup en un equipo con Windows, o /users/shared/Adobe PDF 6.0/startup en un equipo Mac.
    • Si utiliza Distiller 7, la ubicación de la carpeta es C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Adobe PDF 7.0\Startup en un equipo con Windows, o /users/shared/Adobe PDF 7.0/startup en un Mac.
    • Si utiliza Distiller 8, la ubicación de la carpeta es C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Adobe PDF 7.0\Startup en un equipo con Windows, o /users/shared/Adobe PDF 7.0/startup en un Mac.
  4. Si es necesario, elimine cualquier archivos denominado Example.ps de la carpeta Inicio de Distiller ya que este archivo puede interferir en el funcionamiento correcto de Kodak Distiller Assistant.
  5. Copie el archivo Creo PDF Pages.joboptions a la carpeta Configuración.
    • Si utiliza Distiller 6, la ubicación de la carpeta es C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Adobe PDF 6.0\Settings en un equipo con Windows, o /users/shared/Adobe PDF 6.0/settings en un Mac.
    • Si utiliza Distiller 7, la ubicación de la carpeta es C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Adobe PDF 7.0\Settings en un equipo con Windows, o /users/shared/Adobe PDF 7.0/settings en un Mac.
    • Si utiliza Distiller 8, la ubicación de la carpeta es C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe PDF\Distiller\Settings en un equipo con Windows, o Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PDF/Distiller/Settings en un Mac.
  6. Puede eliminar el archivo Prinergy Pages.joboptions, pero no es necesario.
  7. Inicie Acrobat Distiller.
  8. En el menú Opciones de trabajo de Distiller, seleccione Páginas PDF de Creo.
    Aunque estas opciones son la configuración recomendada de los archivos de entrada de Prinergy, no son necesarias para que Kodak Distiller Assistant funcione correctamente. 

Kodak Distiller Assistant siempre está activo y realiza su trabajo automáticamente al interceptar y mejorar los códigos PostScript.

Download and install the Kodak Distiller Assistant.
The Kodak Distiller Assistant supports both Mac and Windows clients. This software is compatible with Adobe Acrobat 4.0 (or later), for Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows NT, and Windows 2000.
The Kodak Distiller Assistant replaces the older start-up files PrinergyForDistiller and Synapse Distiller Startup. If applicable, delete these files in your Startup folder when you upgrade.

  1. Go to http://partnerplace.kodak.com and go to article 67437 and download the the zipped file of the Distiller Assistant.
  2. Extract and copy the CreoDistillerAssistant file to the Distiller Startup folder.
    • If you are using Distiller 6, the folder location is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Adobe PDF 6.0\Startup on a Windows-based computer, or /users/shared/Adobe PDF 6.0/startup on a Mac computer.
    • If you are using Distiller 7, the folder location is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Adobe PDF 7.0\Startup on a Windows-based computer, or /users/shared/Adobe PDF 7.0/startup on a Mac.
    • If you are using Distiller 8, the folder location is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe PDF\Distiller\Startup on a Windows-based computer , or /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PDF/Distiller/Startup on a Mac.
  3. If applicable, delete any file named Example.ps from the Distiller Startup folder because this file can interfere wtih the proper operation of the Kodak Distiller Assistant.
  4. Copy the Creo PDF Pages.joboptions file to the Distiller Settings folder.
    • If you are using Distiller 6, the folder location is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Adobe PDF 6.0\Settings on a Windows-based computer , or /users/shared/Adobe PDF 6.0/settings on a Mac.
    • If you are using Distiller 7, the folder location is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Adobe PDF 7.0\Settings on a Windows-based computer , or /users/shared/Adobe PDF 7.0/settings on a Mac.
    • If you are using Distiller 8, the folder location is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe PDF\Distiller\Settings on a Windows-based computer , or /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PDF/Distiller/Settings on a Mac.
  5. You can delete the Prinergy Pages.joboptions file, but this is not required.
  6. Start Acrobat Distiller.
  7. From the Distiller Job Options menu, select Creo PDF Pages.
    Although these options are the recommended settings for Prinergy input files, they are not required for the Kodak Distiller Assistant to function properly. 

The Kodak Distiller Assistant is always active and automatically does its job by intercepting and improving PostScript codes.
