Seleccionar todos los procesos

Selecciona todos los procesos activos de la vista actual.

Proceso

Permite modificar el estado y la prioridad del proceso seleccionado. Al seleccionar Proceso, se abre un submenú. Las opciones son:

    • Establecer las prioridades del proceso: Seleccione este elemento de menú para cambiar la prioridad del proceso. (La prioridad se define en el cuadro de diálogo Iniciar proceso cuando comienza un proceso, aunque se puede cambiar en el Administrador de la cola.) Cuando se selecciona este elemento de menú, se muestra el cuadro de diálogo Seleccionar prioridad de tarea.
    • Interrumpir: Interrumpe el proceso y le asigna el estado Suspendido. Observe que, al seleccionar Interrumpir, el proceso no se pone en pausa necesariamente de inmediato, sino cuando alcanza el siguiente punto lógico.
    • Reanudar: Reanuda un proceso interrumpido y le asigna el estado Activo.
    • Detener: Finaliza el proceso y lo elimina del Administrador de la cola. Los procesos detenidos no pueden reiniciarse.
    • Forzar destrucción: Obliga a la destrucción del proceso y lo elimina del Administrador de la cola. Este elemento de menú está disponible solo si ya se ha intentado finalizar el proceso usando el elemento de menú Detener al menos una vez y el proceso no ha finalizado.

Preferencias

Utilice esta función para modificar las preferencias de Workshop. Si selecciona este elemento de menú, aparecerá el cuadro de diálogo Preferencias de Workshop.
Nota: En un cliente de Windows, este menú de elemento aparece en el menú Editar. En un cliente de Macintosh, aparece en el menú Workshop.


Cortar, Copiar y Pegar aparecen en el menú Editar, aunque no se aplican.

Select All Processes

Selects all of the active processes in the current view.

Process

Enables you to modify the state and priority of the selected process. When you select Process, a submenu appears. Options are:

    • Set Process Priority—select this menu item to change the priority of the process. (You set the priority in the Start Process dialog box when you initiate a process, but you can change the priority in Queue Manager.) When you select this menu item, the Select Task Priority dialog box appears.
    • Pause—pauses the process, setting its status to Suspended. Note that when you select Pause, the process is not necessarily paused immediately—it is paused at the next logical point.
    • Resume—resumes a paused process, setting its status to Active.
    • Stop—ends the process, removing it from Queue Manager. You cannot restart a stopped process.
    • Force Destroy—forcibly destroys the process, removing it from Queue Manager. This menu item is available only if you have already tried to end the process using the Stop menu item at least once, and the process did not end.

Preferences

Use to view and modify Workshop preferences. When you select this menu item, the Workshop Preferences dialog box appears.
Note: On a Windows client, this menu item appears under the Edit menu. On a Macintosh client, it appears under the Workshop menu.

 

Cut, Copy, and Paste appear on the Edit menu, but they do not apply.
