Note: If you create an imposed flat in your desktop publishing software--for example, using QuarkXPress software,  Do not use this procedure if you create an imposition from a layout application instead of from a proper imposition application. (For example, if you use QuarkXPress software with the INposition Xtension to output a single Adobe PostScript file , with the imposition or layout parameters embedded, and do not follow the procedure following. Instead, perform the procedure for .) When you do this, the output is treated as a loose page (albeit a very large one) instead of as an imposition that references a number of pages. Instead, perform the procedure for Configuring Prinergy Evo for refine and output.

You edit Use the Template Palette to edit which signatures, surfaces, or separations you output via the Template Palette.

1. Create a PDF from the input file. 
   • If you have a Refine to PDF standard workflow license, you can do this
   via
   • using any submission channel with a refine to PDF process template attached.
   • If you do not have a refine to PDF standard workflow license, use qualified PostScript Distiller software (for example, Adobe Distiller software) to distill your PostScript to PDF.
2. Configure Prinergy Evo for imposed output to proof or plate.
   See Configuring Prinergy Evo for high-resolution output.
3. If licensed, configure a create imposition plan in Prinergy Evo.
   See Outputting automatic imposition plans.
4. If not licensed, in Preps, create a PDF to PDF , or a Preps mixed file - PostScript, imposition plan and assign your PDF pages to the Printer's spread template.
   Alternatively from SignaStation software create an imposition plan and assign the required PDF pages to the Printer's spread:

5. Submit the resulting PJTF or JDF and Marks.pdf (for mixed file-- , Postscript only) to Prinergy Evo for output via using a submission channel (that is, hot folders or the Template Palette). See Submitting files.

For Preps PDF to PDF imposition plans, the marks are embedded in the PJTF files, so you only need to copy the PJTF file to the submission channel.

If you are submitting the process via using hot folders, copy both the PJTF (populated portable job ticket format) or JDF file and marks PDF file into the output from imposition hot folder.

If you are submitting via using the Template Palette, copy only the PJTF or JDF file to the output imposition template palette. You do not need to submit the marks PDF file.

The Prinergy Evo server computer must have read, write, and modify privileges on the folder from which you submit input files to Prinergy Evo. Kodak recommends that It is a best practice to put your input files sit in into the shared JobData folder on the Prinergy Evo server computer and you mount them from your Prinergy Evo client computer.

2. Configurez Prinergy Evo pour une sortie imposée sur épreuve ou sur plaque. Reportez-vous à la section Configuration de Prinergy Evo pour une sortie haute résolution.
3. Si vous disposez de la licence appropriée, configurez un plan de création d'imposition dans Prinergy Evo. Reportez-vous à la section Sortie de plans d'imposition automatiques..
4. Si vous ne disposez pas d'une licence, dans Preps, créez un fichier PDF vers PDF ou Preps mixte-PostScript, un plan d'imposition et affectez les pages PDF au modèle d'impression de double page.
   Vous pouvez également créer un plan d'imposition dans le logiciel SignaStation et affecter les pages PDF requises au modèle d'impression de double page:

5. Envoyez le PJTF ou JDF résultant et le Marks.pdf (pour un fichier mixte-Postscript uniquement) à Prinergy Evo pour le produire via un circuit d'envoi (c'est-à-dire un Hot Folder ou la palette de modèles). Reportez-vous à la section Envoi de fichiers.

Pour les plans d'imposition PDF vers PDF de Preps, les repères sont intégrés aux fichiers PJTF ; vous pouvez donc vous contenter de copier le fichier PJTF vers le circuit d'envoi.

Si l'envoi du processus est réalisé par Hot Folders, copiez le fichier PJTF (Populated Job Ticket Format) ou JDF et les repères PDF dans le Hot Folder de sortie à partir d'imposition.

Si l'envoi est réalisé à l'aide de la palette de modèles, copiez uniquement le fichier PJTF ou JDF vers la palette de modèles de sortie d'imposition. Il n'est pas nécessaire d'envoyer le fichier de repères PDF.

L'ordinateur Prinergy Evo Server doit disposer des privilèges d'accès en lecture, écriture et modification sur le dossier à partir duquel vous envoyez les fichiers d'entrée à Prinergy Evo. Kodak recommande de placer les fichiers d'entrée dans le dossier partagé JobData de l'ordinateur Prinergy Evo Server et de les monter à partir de l'ordinateur Prinergy Evo Client.
