The Dell OptiPlex XE3 runs Windows 10 IoT Ent LTSC 2019 EMB OS and is configured for high performance, efficient use of disk space, and system reliability , with a RAID 1 mirrored-disk configuration that provides quick recovery if one disk failsand long-term platform stability.
As a further safeguard for unexpected system failure, a full proofing system image (ISO file) Microsoft System Image is created when installation and setup are complete, ensuring the shortest downtime possible . (A ghost load procedure is not available for Windows 7 or later, due to Microsoft policy.)This Windows 10 OptiPlex 7050 is currently shipping for use as the proofing controller in Matchprint Inkjet, Flexo Dot Viewer, and Approval isolation systemsin case of unexpected system failure. Kodak provides a bootable USB flash drive for recovery procedures. Additionally, a scheduled backup of the KPS Proofer Controller software is configured.
